Welcome to this New Moon in Capricorn meditation with me,
Jamie,
Titled Be With the Trees Visualization.
Please get comfortable.
We're gonna work on being still,
Becoming grounded and rooted in ourselves,
In our base,
Slowing down our breath and bringing clarity to our own skills,
Talents.
So as you close your eyes,
Softening the face,
As you breathe in just bring attention to the air as it's moving in with curiosity,
Feeling any temperature,
Moisture and just trying to slow down the breath.
To clear our minds,
I would like us to do three collective hums together and try and make these hums nice and deep and grounding,
Seeking a deep breath in through the nose.
And again.
One more.
Allowing our minds to be peaceful as we sink into our bodies,
Into the feeling of our body and its aliveness and especially connecting with the tree energy,
Just really feeling from the ground up this stillness,
Like a bark starts covering your body,
Just feeling your legs and your buttocks and belly,
Almost locking into place as you continue to breathe slowly,
Deeply and steadily,
Just appreciating the safety of where you're sitting.
And as you feel your body becoming still,
As you breathe in,
Just imagine you can breathe like a tree,
Breathing through the pores on your skin as we breathe in,
As we breathe out again,
Releasing from all over the body,
Feeling the cool air coming into the lungs,
Bringing life to our body and just taking a few moments to observe the energy of oxygen coming into the body,
Into the lungs and how our whole body absorbs this as we sit here,
As we sit in stillness,
All the cells of our bodies are still working,
Still producing energy,
Removing waste,
So the body can be still but inside everything is alive.
Just trying to connect with this,
Deepen the breath,
Slow down and as we keep softening the face and the cheeks,
The shoulders and the neck,
Keep softening the back,
Our chest,
The belly,
Into the stillness,
We move down towards our hips,
Where we're in contact with the ground and with our breath,
Just feeling or visualizing with every breath cycle that we start to grow little roots down into the ground,
With every in and out breath,
They just finding their way,
Working through the earth below us,
Really connecting to this feeling of gravity pushing us into the ground,
The roots are extending out both wide and depth,
Just feeling like an anchor to the ground and maybe also imagining or feeling the density,
The amount of roots also increasing and as we breathe in,
Just feeling a sense of healing of earth,
Nutrients come up into our body,
Earth's energy,
As we become more tree-like,
The nutrients,
All the myoselium,
The communication with the earth and the aliveness of the earth,
Just feeling ourselves connect with this as we go deeper into the ground and work on this relationship with being able to take what we need from the earth and as we breathe out,
We can also imagine,
We give back things that the earth needs,
So just concentrating on this in and out breath and the connection with what it means for you,
Breathing nice and deep,
Nice and slow and as we sit here connected,
Going through winter,
Feeling a shedding of the leaves that we've been holding,
Seeing if we can feel any lightness or we can feel the leaves slowly lose their color and drop to the floor in our stillness,
What can we release,
If you can maybe find one word to represent what you want to release,
Just as you breathe out,
Repeat it internally and as we lose our leaves,
Just feeling a sense of lightness in our heads and then around our bodies,
As we release this energy into the ground to be absorbed by earth and as we sit here in our positions,
Bare-branched,
Just feeling around us the energy of everyone like we're in a forest,
But this forest,
Everybody's lost their leaves and we're all together,
So putting out your attention to join maybe through the roots or through the air with everyone around to be strong together,
Feeling this strength through the earth and if there's any specific people or loved ones which you want to connect with,
Then you can do so and as we feel this connection with our loved ones,
Strengthen and connection to ourselves and our root,
Beginning to feel beginning to feel some new leaves grow as we breathe in,
Breathing up,
Breathing the nutrients,
Feeling like our skin begins to prickle,
What is it is growing,
What leaves,
What color and just drawing all this oxygen in through the new leaves to bring fresh energy for the new cycle to become,
Seeing if you can feel it all over the body,
All over the legs,
Filling the body with life energy and maybe now that we have leaves and we've come out of our hibernation,
We can grow some fruit on our branches too,
What type of fruit describes you,
What color,
What is its properties,
Just feeling the body fill with so much energy that you can grow flowers and fruit to almost show off how beautiful and brilliant you are and as we sit here strongly in ourself with our roots connected to the ones around us,
The fruits laden on our branches,
Extremely heavy but we have such strength within that it's not a problem,
This gift we have to offer the earth,
Breathing in nice and deeply and sitting up a little bit more straight,
Feeling the crowns of our head raised towards the sky to the sun,
Really connecting to those colors of the fruit or the leaves,
Breathing this color in and breathing it in all through the body and just dropping the fruit,
Allowing it to go on to the next circle of life,
The gift that we can give to the earth,
This fertility,
Just sitting in some stillness on a nice calm day,
The wind blowing through our leaves,
Over our skin,
We feel stable in ourselves,
Feeling the patience in our body and a slow determination to move bit by bit to a goal.
