by Jamie E Love
Recorded at a Scorpio Full Moon, this meditation asks us to go deep into our emotional body. First, a guided relaxation as we check into how we feel in our bodies. Asking the body to release its trapped emotions through deeper breaths & sighs. To feel better & lighter in our bodies.

Welcome to this guided meditation with me,
Jamie.
This meditation is based on releasing emotional pain and going deeply into our emotions and feeling what is holding us back in the present moment,
Which may have attachments to the past.
As we breathe deeply,
We look to release,
Heal,
And recover fully.
I'm sitting by the ocean,
So the background sounds is of water,
The sea.
These sounds should also be healing and helpful for relaxation.
This meditation is better with headphones on or through a speaker.
To begin,
Just see if you can listen to the sea in the background.
It's relentless,
Persistent,
Steady,
And always moving.
Often our emotions are energy which gets stuck in the body.
Maybe we repress our feelings,
We hold our mouth and tongue,
We don't communicate,
Or maybe we don't let the anger out,
We don't let the emotion,
We don't cry,
We pretend like everything is okay,
When really inside there's deep emotions which haven't been expressed.
As we do this through our life and we get into patterns,
Relationships,
These wounds can deepen and the body holds these.
Now is a brilliant time to invite these to open and show themselves as we look with no judgment,
As we look with an open heart,
Open arms,
With compassion,
Knowing we're all human.
This is part of our experience to feel emotion and to express our emotion.
There is no shame,
No guilt,
Just life.
So closing the eyes,
Taking a nice deep breath in and out,
Allowing a sigh out of the mouth,
Allow any noises which may help you relax and release the day to come out of the mouth,
Breathing nice and deeply.
Maybe letting go of that thing that has been bothering you today or yesterday,
This week.
As we breathe nice and deeply we're committing to this practice of self-care,
Of nurturing our body,
Our mind and our soul.
And as you close your eyes just realize if your eyes and your eyebrows are squinting,
If your face is clenched in any way,
And just tell yourself to relax,
Relax,
Relax,
Relax.
Just noticing as the face softens,
The jaw relaxes and the mind clears.
As we go into our bodies,
Especially paying attention to the jaw,
We can clench our jaw through stress and tension.
So just giving your jaw a little wiggle,
Just moving it around,
Allowing it to just release into the most relaxed position possible.
Again,
Breathing nice and deeply into it,
Relax,
Relax,
Relax.
Moving your attention lower now,
Down the neck,
The shoulders,
Feeling the shoulders soften,
The neck release.
There's no stress here,
Nowhere you have to be.
So allow your shoulders to just release as they should be,
No muscle tension,
Relax,
Relax,
Relax.
Feeling the arms getting heavy,
Falling into a nice position by the body.
And just moving our attention again to our heart and our heart space,
Seeing if we can sense our heartbeat in our chest.
And as we breathe nice and deeply,
Just willing the heartbeat to slow down,
Slow down,
Slow down.
Just observing,
Feeling an increased amount of tranquility come into the body as the heart listens to your command.
And now it's slowing down.
Next,
We work on opening our heart,
Just feeling its energy expand into the center of the body as the aura of our body gives off electrons to give a frequency that we all feel when we meet people.
Just opening,
Feeling our heart open.
You are safe.
Seeing if you can feel a slightly increased vibration as you open your chest,
Open your body,
Open your heart,
Just breathing nice and deeply in,
Using the air coming into the lungs to invigorate the heart and increase its vibrational energy.
Open,
Open,
Open.
Our hearts are open.
Our body's receiving oxygen deep into its belly.
Just following the journey of this oxygen down into the belly,
Into the diaphragm,
And just seeing if you can relax the belly any more to allow a little bit more space for the air to come into.
We hold our bellies,
Because in society we see a belly as not such a beautiful thing,
But we wear our bellies with pride.
They show relaxed,
Calm.
The Laughing Buddha has a big belly,
And he's one of my favorites.
Opening that belly,
Letting go of the worries and the stresses.
You're safe.
You're beautiful.
Opening that belly,
Relaxing.
The belly is also where we hold emotions sometimes when we feel fear or sad or pain.
It shows up with digestive issues.
So now just asking your body,
Feeling deep into this belly,
What are you holding?
What emotion is it that you're holding?
What are you holding?
What emotion is in there which wants to be released?
Your body is ready and willing to release it.
What comes to mind?
Maybe this is a flashback or feeling,
A knowing.
Your soul knows what needs to be released right now.
And bringing this into your mind's eye and still connecting with that belly.
Again,
Feeling it deeply,
Telling yourself it's okay.
You're safe.
It's okay to release this,
And it's time to release this.
Taking a nice deep breath in,
Opening,
And allowing a more forceful out-breath.
Release.
Again,
Nice deep breath in,
Nice deep breath in,
A more forceful out-breath.
And again,
Keep going,
Keep holding what it is that you're releasing.
Feel it releasing from the belly and the mind and the body,
And feel it lighten.
And when you're ready,
Come back to a steady in and out breath.
Checking in with the face again,
Checking in with the eyes,
Checking in with the jaw,
Checking in with the shoulders,
Checking in with the heart,
Opening the belly,
And just slowly moving attention down to where we're sitting or lying,
Where our hips,
Our bum is touching the ground,
And feeling this pressure of gravity,
The connection to the earth,
The gravity holds us here on this beautiful planet.
And as you breathe in,
Just feeling the energy of earth,
Pulling this energy with your in-breath up through your sitting bones and into your body.
Maybe there's a word,
Maybe there's a color,
Maybe there's a feeling,
But just bringing this energy in with your in-breath,
And slowly filling your body like a bath filling with water,
Filling this grounding energy,
Bring you comfort and bring you healing.
Just enjoying the slightly more tranquil breaths after that deep breathing exercise.
Observe the body as it just does its thing,
As you're breathing in your body,
Filling with this grounding energy until it reaches the very top of your head and each one of your tiptoes on each feet.
You're safe,
You're healing.
And to finish we'll repeat some mantras,
You can just say them into yourself,
Or you can say them out loud if it feels more powerful.
You can repeat after me,
I am strong,
I am powerful,
I am independent,
I release my fears,
I let go of the pain in my body,
And I forgive.
I am whole,
I am abundant,
I am everything I need to be right now.
Again now just taking a nice deep breath in and allowing a sigh out of the body,
Releasing any of this energy that wants to move from those affirmations.
Again nice deep breath in,
Allow any noise out that feels right,
And again one more.
I encourage you to stay longer,
Keep breathing deeply,
Keep releasing.
When you're ready you can finish,
But please do stay,
Continue to relax,
Continue to release until you're done.
Sending much love and healing and gratitude for spending time with me.
Take care.
