According to the Clinical Psychological Review-Journal in 2010, “People who regularly practice gratitude are happier, less depressed, less stressed, and more satisfied with their relationships.” I'll play the music and create the space so that you can express gratitude for your strengths, both big and small. This is a short, quick session to provide space for consistency in your gratitude practice. Music By: Chris Collins.

Greetings,

And welcome friends.

My name is Jessi.

Thank you for joining me for Gratitude in 5 Minutes or Less.

From the Clinical Psychological Review Journal in 2010,

Quote,

People who regularly practice gratitude are happier,

Less depressed,

Less stressed,

And more satisfied with their relationships,

End quote.

So let's get grateful.

Today,

We are going to focus on your strengths.

So often we think about our own weaknesses,

Areas of improvement,

And goals that we forgot to celebrate our individual strengths.

None of us are perfect,

But you are perfectly you.

Nobody else can do it better.

Today,

We are going to focus on listing our strengths.

These can be big strengths,

Like,

I am an award winning CEO of a successful non-profit.

Or,

Strengths that are seemingly minor.

I make the best grilled cheese sandwiches this side of the Mississippi.

Or,

I am really skilled at painting my toenails.

Capture it all.

If you haven't already,

Please get out your journal or a piece of paper and your favorite writing utensil.

I'll let you know when we have about 20 seconds left.

Alright,

Are you ready?

As I said,

Today,

We are giving gratitude by recognizing our individual strengths.

Go ahead and begin.

20 seconds left.

Okay,

Go ahead and wrap up that thought or continue to journal if you still have more strengths to list.

Be sure to give gratitude for everything that you have listed during this practice.

Thanks for joining me.

I am grateful for you.

Have a great day and may your soul shine.
