I invite you to come to the garden of your womb,
Imagining a beautiful gate around this large area of land.
As you walk,
You eventually come towards the entrance of the gate.
Visualize that gate in your mind's eye.
As you stand here,
You feel a key in your pocket.
Reaching for that key,
You can bring it to the lock,
And hear it click open.
Gently push that door open.
As you come into this garden space,
Walk and observe what you see.
Looking around,
What is here?
What do you see?
Notice where life is thriving,
And notice where there are weeds.
Notice where some plants are at the end of their life cycle,
And where there may be overgrowth.
As you look down near your feet,
There are clippers,
Gloves,
Shovels,
And other gardening materials.
I invite you to grab one or two things here,
And walk towards one of the areas where there is an overgrowth of weeds.
As you come to this area,
Sense how you feel.
Notice all the details,
And also see where it's connected to the earth.
Beyond the bigness of these weeds and pokiness here,
I invite you to look down towards the root.
Find the roots of this plant.
A gust of wind comes in to clear away some of the twigs,
Debris,
And dead leaves that blow away.
This breath of air comes in and lifts some things out of your way to make it easier for you to get closer to that root.
Bend down now,
And get a better look at this weed.
Place your hands on this root,
And notice how you feel.
What is this for you?
What weed has grown here in your beautiful garden?
What thought is this?
What fear or concern could this be?
Listen,
And notice what you sense.
And as you hold this weed,
Feel how long it's been here,
Where its roots first took place.
And I ask you now,
Would you be willing to release whatever this is?
If the answer is yes,
Feel this weed in your hands.
Unconditional love pours over you and fills you with strength.
A strength that goes beyond you.
The strength of Christ helps you as you pull and pull up.
Surprisingly,
It pulls up so easily,
Ripping out that weed all the way down to its deepest,
Deepest root.
Now held in your hands,
Fully detached from the earth.
And you can toss it over now,
To the side.
Taking a breath.
You notice there's another weed nearby that you can walk over to.
And this time,
Whether you know what this is or not,
I invite you to grab your tools to cut or whack it.
Feeling your arms beginning to work and chop away.
Once the top of this weed is cleared,
You can drop your supplies and crouch down.
Bring your hands to this root.
Feeling it for a moment.
Then taking a deep breath in,
And pulling it out on the exhale.
Fully ripped out,
Fully removed.
Tossing it far away off to the side.
Now this may be all the weeds you first saw,
But I invite you to ask,
Are there any other weeds that need tending to in my garden?
And not only are you here,
But also inviting in Jesus Christ.
He is here,
Standing beside you.
Showing you the way.
Showing you where you may not have noticed weeds before.
And as you care for this garden together,
Small and big weeds are pulled away.
Fear is pulled out.
Resentment and unforgiveness thrown away.
Any despair,
Confusion,
Bitterness,
Tightness,
And anything at all that has hindered you or binded you.
These weeds are being pulled out of the garden one by one.
Tending to this garden together with care.
Eventually you pause and take a breath.
Looking at your work.
Feeling sweat dripping down your brow.
And as this garden is being cleared,
On the count of three,
All these weeds and their debris are going to disappear.
Taking a deep breath in.
Three.
Two.
One.
They turn to dust.
Any tiny remnant of them disperses with the air.
Completely cleared.
And once again,
That refreshing wind,
That breath of life,
Comes through,
Away.
Dispersing it completely.
Away.
The atmosphere now is so pristine and fresh,
You can breathe lighter and deeper.
As you look around at the ground,
You can see many holes on this land.
And I invite you to fill these holes with new soil.
New hope.
So first seeing the most mineral-rich soil nearby in a wagon right next to you.
And you can take this soil,
Pouring it into each of these holes with care.
Lovingly tending to your garden with attention and compassion.
Then a new seed is placed in your palm as you walk over now and press that little seed into the soil.
Continue to tend to your garden until all the holes are completely filled with this new presence.
New seeds of your dreams.
And as this garden is supported to be a thriving garden once more,
I invite you to look around.
As you take this pause,
Find a place that calls to you in your garden.
That sings to your heart song.
Walk over to that beautiful place now.
Seeing roses nearby,
Flowers nearby.
Life that is thriving.
And as you dig a hole here with your hands,
Feel that soil moving and making way.
This richness of being.
Now Christ places a final seed in your hand.
The one that is most dear to your heart.
Dig deeper into the soil until it feels right.
Place that seed in.
And as you do,
A rain begins to come.
A gentle drip that feels so clearing and supportive.
Pours in to water your garden.
And maybe your tears also water the garden and touch the seed.
And you can place more soil over it now.
Filling the hole,
Patting it until it feels complete.
Hover your hands now over the earth.
Rest here.
Smiling,
Waiting patiently and knowing you have done well.
You can trust and know that the beginning seed has been planted.
And as you rest here,
Be here.
Trust and believe.
And to seal up this whole experience,
I invite you to imagine the hand of God.
A bright garden.
And a touch from God's finger sends a ripple of love,
Of light,
Of life to your womb.
And this garden thrives.
This garden is healthy and well.
Deeply supported.
Roots are strong.
Foundations laid.
And the garden of your womb.
Feeling this loving light envelop the whole front of your womb.
Sealing in the most fragrant atmosphere for you to rest in.
Rest here.
