Welcome to Soma Rising.

In this short meditation called Here to Remember,

Regulate and Rise.

Find a quiet place where your body can rest.

You may desire to lay down or sit upright with your spine tall and your hands resting gently on your lap or over your heart.

Take a long deep breath in and release.

Again,

Breathing in,

Expanding your belly,

Feeling your fullness and exhale slowly.

Let yourself arise.

Let your body know it's safe to be here.

Let's begin by remembering.

Bring your attention to the space behind your heart.

There's an ancient part of you there,

A remembering soul.

This part of you that knows who you are beneath all the noise.

Who knows the rhythms of the earth,

The pulse of the moon,

The language of your breath.

Let the remembering rise.

Let it come as sensation,

Image,

Feeling or sound.

Let your body whisper its truth.

Now let's gently shift the rhythm to regulation.

Breath flowing smoothly like a river.

Spine like a strong tree.

You are here to regulate,

Not to control.

To feel,

Not to fix.

To honour what arises and to meet it with presence.

Bring awareness to the places in your body that feel tender or tight.

Place a gentle hand there.

Breathe into it.

Offer it the words,

You are safe,

You are welcome here.

Feel your body settling.

Notice how your breath responds to this kindness.

Now it's time to rise.

To feel that inner lift.

Not a striving,

But an awakening.

A remembering of your dignity,

Your fire,

Your wholeness.

From the soles of your feet to the crown of your head.

Feel the invitation to expand.

What does it feel like to rise in the truth?

To rise from rootedness?

To rise with softness?

Whisper to yourself.

I am here to remember,

Regulate and rise.

Say it again,

Slower this time.

I am here to remember,

Regulate and rise.

Let this mantra fill every cell.

Let it shape your next inhale.

Let it ripple out into the day ahead.

Take three more nourishing breaths here.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring movement back to your fingers and toes.

Return to the space around you.

You are here.

You are whole.

And you are rising.
