The illusion of mindful,
Eating with a true psycho-awareness.
They tell you,
Take a rising,
Try to eat it,
But do it very slowly,
Very mindfully,
Look at every wrinkle,
Every foam.
Bring it to your mouth,
Bite it slowly and notice what tastes as a pear,
What sensation arises in the body.
Watch though,
This is how mindfulness is sold everywhere,
It is a shallow marketing trick.
But a poor soul,
Before even touching the rising,
Actually needs to stop,
Calm down and consciously engage the entire cycle structure.
You need to feel the raw sensation in the deltoid muscles.
The biceps,
The forearm.
You must lift the hand with agonizing slowly,
Feeling every ligament,
Every single muscle fiber,
Every bone involved in this mechanical movement.
Just to reach for the diamond rising,
You need to perceive every biological gear that participates in the motion.
And then,
When you turn your palm up,
Do you see that rising everyone talks so much about?
You are supposed to feel it is texture,
It is soft or hard,
How does it smell?
That's what they teach in their spiritual kindergartens.
But in reality,
You must stay anchored in the muscles and ligaments that move your hairy body.
Only then,
Though the physical tension,
Can you attempt to be really aware.
In the beginning,
Nothing will work,
You will constantly fall out of the body and collapse back into the cage of the mind.
It is painful for me to hear this fairy tale about tasting rising.
People are dumbed to spend months and years on nonsense that has absolutely nothing to do with true,
Forced awareness.
How can you mindfully bite a rising if your channel of attention is a needle's eye,
You have never really used it,
Except for some crude,
Primitive sensation.
They tell you,
Feel the flower,
The note,
The temperature,
Forget the flower,
Instead of that you should be feeling imbrutal work in the muscles involved in the chewing.
The tempura mandibular joint.
If you really begin to sense the skeletal muscles of the jaw while chewing,
You will realize a harsh truth,
You will completely forget about the awareness of your hand,
Fingers and shoulders.
Your brain simply does not have enough bandwidth of energy of attention to hold awareness on the object at once.
The jaw and hand.
The moment you focus on the jaw,
Your hand disappears,
Only once you lower your hand and finish that movement,
Can you return to the awareness of the jaw.
This is the limit of your human hardware,
This is what you must understand if you want to stop playing and start practicing.
