This meditation is a gentle invitation to come back to yourself, to remember that the feeling of home has never been outside of you. As you soften the body and quiet the mind, you’ll reconnect with that familiar inner warmth that feels safe, grounded, and deeply comforting. From this place, the heart naturally opens without effort and force, allowing love to move through you with ease. You may notice a sense of belonging arise, not tied to a place or person, but rooted in your own presence. This practice reminds you that wherever you go, you carry home within you, always available, always waiting. BGM provided by Weston Brown

Hi,

I'm Susie and welcome to Unplugged.

Today we're going to be connecting to the heart because home is where the heart is and the good news is you have heart.

So take a moment to get comfortable,

Relax and gently close your eyes.

And we're just going to begin by taking a long slow deep breath in through our nose.

And an audible exhale out through the mouth,

Releasing,

Letting go,

Relaxing the face,

Relaxing the shoulder,

Relaxing your body.

And keeping your breath deep and slow.

There's nothing to do,

Nowhere to be except for right here,

Right now,

In this precious present moment.

Now bringing your awareness to your ears,

Just noticing what you can hear without labeling it.

Allow it to just be.

Notice your mind wanting to label it,

Just bring it back to the sound and just the awareness of the sound.

Keeping your breath deep and slow.

Your heart is the home of your body so we're going to bring our hands to our heart and try to feel your heart beating.

Just a few of the 100,

000 heartbeats that you have every day.

Your heart is safe and so are you.

No matter what is happening outside of you,

Your heart is always beating inside of you.

Your heart is your home.

We're going to come home by using a mantra,

Inhaling,

I love,

And exhaling,

Something or someone that you love.

So just do this slowly,

On your own,

For a few moments,

Inhaling,

I love,

And exhaling,

Your word.

Let's create our love list now.

Noticing as you notice the words of the things and the people that you love,

That your heart is expanding.

You're just filling yourself up with love.

Inhaling,

I love.

Exhaling,

Your word.

Now that we've filled ourselves up with love,

We're going to be sending it out to a person or a pet that you care for,

That you love.

So picture that person or pet.

It could be someone you know or someone you admire.

And on the inhale,

Just say,

I love,

And on the exhale,

You.

I love,

On the inhale.

You,

On the exhale.

Picture,

Imagine them receiving it as you silently repeat that to yourself for the next minute.

Imagine your heart connecting to their heart,

No matter where they are in the world.

Placing your hand back on your heart and just giving your heart a thanks for being there for you,

Always,

Consistently,

Without asking for anything in return.

You are loved,

And you are home.

Taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

And an audible exhale out through your mouth,

Releasing,

Letting go.

And when you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

And remember that you are home,

No matter where you are.

Home is where your heart is.

I'm sending you love.

I'm sending you love.
