Explore MeditationTodd Lent Damore has spent more than 25 years as a Buddhist walking the awakening path. He started out using Zen practice as a way to overcome debilitating anxiety and depression. But over the years, as he saw vast improvement on those ailments, his interest shifted to helping others find the same relief, and then ultimately to awakening: the fruition of living a life free from suffering. He then branched out and began exploring practices from various traditions, including ones from within Buddhism, as well as practices as diverse as Non-Duality and energy work, even working as a Reiki Master-Teacher for a while. Over the years Todd practiced various types of meditation and inquiry. His preferred approach ultimately became one of Unfettered Mindfulness, using frequent inquiry integrated into our normal routines so that the insights can be made relevant and available right when we need them most. Todd is a published author, having written a poetic guide to the awakening path. He has taught meditation through the New Leaf Meditation Project. He has also guided people to see through the illusion of self at Liberation Unleashed. In the past four years, he has collaborated with his wife Pernille to make hundreds of videos, teaching a whole curriculum for awakening using the Buddhist 10 Fetters. They run multiple retreats each year, as well as monthly group inquiry meetings. Todd also works with people one-to-one, helping them discover the roots of their suffering.
