Welcome.
Let the body rest where it is.
There is no need to rush.
Perhaps you're just waking up,
Still beneath the covers or in a posture of repose,
Not yet moving.
Notice the breath,
The subtle sensations of the body beginning to stir,
The aliveness waking up as the body.
But even before the body stirs,
Something was already here.
Awareness.
Not the body's awareness,
But awareness itself.
It did not awaken.
It was never asleep.
Simply rest here for a moment.
Be aware of being aware.
Nothing to do.
Nothing to achieve.
Just this quiet,
Open presence.
Let attention softly rest in the heart.
Not just the physical heart,
But the subtle center of being,
Where truth quietly lives.
Notice how everything you perceive,
The breath,
The body,
Sensations,
The light around you,
Is appearing in you.
You are the field of knowing,
The space in which all of life arises and is known.
From this stillness,
We ask gentle,
Open questions.
Not to answer,
But to remember.
Why am I here?
What is calling me into this new day?
If I had all the support I needed,
What would I offer the world today?
Allowing these open questions to resound inside.
Does what I do come from love?
From truth?
From the natural rhythm of love?
Of life?
Notice how when aligned with this deeper wisdom,
Life becomes cooperative,
Supportive,
Mysteriously precise.
Now breathe in.
Allow yourself to feel gratitude,
Not as an idea,
But as a felt experience.
Gratitude for the breath,
For the morning light,
For the stillness that greets you.
Gratitude for this body,
Just as it is.
Gratitude for the ability to hear,
To feel,
To witness the world arising in awareness.
And when life offers you something unexpected today,
A dollar,
A smile,
An honest conversation,
A moment of truth,
However raw,
May you recognize,
Life is guiding me.
Even when the path is unclear,
The heart knows how to listen.
Maybe you are in a role or a rhythm that doesn't feel aligned.
That's not a problem.
It's a message.
The first step in transformation is allowing the truth to be felt.
You may feel this isn't sitting right.
That feeling itself is the seed of change.
Let it be here,
Without resistance.
Let it be known.
You don't have to fix anything today.
You only need to remain open,
Allowing.
Allowing life to live through you.
Allowing awareness to guide.
Allowing yourself to be a vehicle for the highest good.
Not by effort,
But by deep sincerity.
As this meditation comes to a close,
Gently become aware of the space around you.
Feel the contact points of the body.
Notice again the breath,
Always rising,
Still falling.
You could never leave presence behind.
It was always here.
Being aware of this presence,
Awareness,
Carry this into your day.
Like a soft,
Constant flame of truth.
Today,
May I walk as awareness.
May I listen with the heart.
May I act in accordance with truth.
And may I remain open to grace in all the forms in which it appears to me today.
The Self is One.
