Wherever you are in your life right now,
Take a status check.
What have you been working towards?
What parts of yourself have you been trying to grow or heal?
What have you been trying to manifest?
Maybe you set an intention or a goal a few months ago or a year ago.
What's the status of that intention?
Just call it to mind.
No judgment here.
Now,
Today is a new day and tomorrow will be a new day.
And with each new day and each new tomorrow is a new beginning.
That is,
If we make the choice to see it that way.
It's a chance to start over,
A chance for you to reset,
A chance for you to pause,
To take a breath,
And to think about what you really want.
Sometimes we get so lost in the habit of constant doing in our daily routine that it makes it seem to our mind that we are in fact moving towards our goals because we are being productive.
But productivity is not a great measure of progress,
Of growth,
Of clarity,
Of authenticity,
And of alignment of purpose.
So in any moment and in any new day,
If you choose to take a step back and simply see yourself as standing at the dawn of a new beginning,
My question for you then becomes,
What is your one thing?
What is your one thing?
Your one thing is the single most important focus at any given moment.
The key area of your life that if you gave your energy to will have the most upside in your life,
Propelling you closer to the person you truly desire to be.
And the beauty of this question is that you can approach it from many different angles.
It prompts you to turn on your awareness and investigate where you are right now in your life and what you most need at this time.
For example,
You can start by asking,
What's the one single pursuit that if I focused on fully would transform my life experience the most?
Or,
You can get more specific.
What's one project or goal that if I focused on fully would be an absolute game changer for me?
What's one specific area that I need to grow in?
What's one habit that I can adopt to start taking better care of myself?
What's one person I need to forgive that would bring me the peace I so dearly seek?
What's one attitude or mindset I can start embodying to help me become the person I know I'm capable of becoming?
What's one thing I'm resisting that if I accepted would change everything for me?
Would change everything for me.
For my benefit and for the people I love.
Whether we realize it or not,
For better or worse,
We're always just one thing away from changing our lives.
We're always just one thing away from experiencing reality in a whole new way.
We are always just one step from understanding ourselves more deeply and clearly.
So when in doubt in life,
Feeling stuck or unsatisfied,
Feeling stuck or unsatisfied,
Just start with one.
