Hi,

I'm Fiona.

This meditation is called I See You,

And it's for the soul that's been holding it all together.

Quietly,

Gently,

Maybe even invisibly.

It's for the part of you that shows up every day,

For others,

For responsibilities,

For the world,

While deep down you're longing for a moment to just be.

Maybe you've been carrying a lot lately.

Maybe you've forgotten what it feels like to be truly seen,

Without needing to explain,

Perform or hold it all in.

This meditation is a soft place to land.

There's nothing to fix here,

Nothing to achieve.

Just a moment to rest in the truth that you're allowed to be exactly as you are.

So if it feels okay,

Take a deep breath,

Let yourself land,

And when you're ready,

We'll begin.

Let yourself settle into a posture that feels right for your body.

You don't need to sit up straight,

Breathe a certain way.

There is no way you need to be.

There is nothing you need to do.

With me,

With yourself.

You've been holding tension in your jaw,

Your chest,

Your belly.

Let it go.

Let it go now,

Just a little.

Just enough.

You've been holding so much,

Maybe without even realising it.

The clench in your stomach,

The ache behind your eyes,

You don't have to fix it,

Just notice it.

Notice the way your breath is arriving,

Without you having to ask it to.

Notice the way your shoulders have been trying to hold up the sky.

You can let your shoulders drop,

As little or as much as you like.

Even if only for a few minutes.

I see how heavy it's been,

I feel the way you've been carrying it all.

And just for this moment,

You can set it down,

Just beside you.

You don't have to throw it away,

You can pick it up again if you need to,

But for now,

Let your body rest.

Let your breath be enough.

Let your presence be the only thing you owe,

And that's more than enough.

I've got you.

If it feels right,

You can gently close your eyes now,

And we'll begin together.

The one that shows up before your feet even hit the floor,

Quiet,

Sinking feeling in the centre of your stomach,

The one that reminds you that the sadness hasn't left.

I see you pulling it together,

Pouring the coffee,

Packing the bags.

I see you at one foot in front of the other,

And I see the mask you wear,

The one you show the world,

The version of you that seems fine,

Capable,

But behind closed doors,

There are moments you unravel,

When something small,

A comment,

A mess,

A delay,

Sends you spiralling,

And then the guilt hits,

The shame of overreacting,

The fear that you're too much,

And still,

No one sees the real cause,

They don't see the weight you've been carrying,

They just see the flush of emotion,

The tip of the iceberg,

And you're left feeling even more invisible,

Even more alone.

I see the part of you that wants to scream,

But doesn't,

The part that cries behind closed doors,

Or in the car,

Or not at all,

Because there's no time to fall apart,

Maybe you've become so good at pretending,

That you've forgotten what it feels like to be real,

Maybe you've forgotten who you were before all of this,

I see you,

I feel the weight on your shoulders,

And I want you to know,

You don't have to carry it all right now,

Not here,

Not in this moment,

You can let it down,

What you're feeling,

It makes sense,

Of course you're exhausted,

Of course you're overwhelmed,

Of course you sometimes snap,

You've been trying to hold so much together,

For so long,

Often without enough rest,

Without enough support,

Without anyone truly seeing what it's costing you,

But I see you,

I see the toll it's taken,

On your body,

Your spirit,

The way you've been feeling,

It's not a flaw,

It's not a failure,

It's a response,

A completely human,

Deeply understandable response to living in survival mode for too long,

You weren't meant to carry all of this alone,

You were never meant to be the emotional anchor for everyone else,

While pushing your own needs to the bottom of the list,

You weren't meant to go this long,

Without being asked what do you need,

And maybe no one has ever shown you,

What it looks like to rest without guilt,

To receive without earning it,

But that doesn't mean you don't deserve it,

You are not broken,

You are not weak,

You are responding in the only way a human can,

When they've been carrying too much for too long,

If it feels too hard right now,

That's because it is hard,

I want you to know that you don't need to pretend in here,

You don't have to explain or justify your tiredness,

You've done more than enough,

Just breathe,

And if it helps,

Let yourself believe,

Even just for this moment,

You are not the problem,

You are someone who deserves softness too,

If you'll let me,

I'd like to read you something,

A letter,

From the version of you who made it through,

Dear one,

I know you're tired,

I remember this exact moment,

The heaviness in your chest,

The pressure to keep going,

The silence around your pain,

I remember crying and not even knowing why,

I remember the numbness,

The irritability,

The deep aching loneliness,

Even in a room full of people,

And I need you to know something,

You don't stay here,

This isn't where your story ends,

I know it doesn't feel like it yet,

There is a day when you laugh without guilt,

A day when your body feels like a home,

Not a battlefield,

A day when you are no longer trying to hold up the sky,

I see the way you carry everyone else,

I see how invisible you feel,

I promise you,

You are not forgotten forgotten,

You are not failing,

You are not too much,

You are becoming,

Slowly,

Tenderly alive,

There is a version of you who knows what rest feels like,

Who says no with ease,

Who wakes up not with dread,

But with quiet steadiness,

I'm living that life now and I'm so grateful that you kept breathing through the days that didn't make sense,

I'm so proud of you,

Not because you held it all together,

But because you finally let some of it go keep going,

I've got you,

Love,

The you who made it through just let what was said settle into the spaces that needed it,

Let your shoulders stay soft,

Let your breath stay slow and if the world outside begins to cool again,

Just know that you can come back here,

To this space,

To this voice,

To this part of yourself that is learning how to be held you are allowed to rest,

You are allowed to be seen,

You are allowed to begin again carry that truth with you today,

Like a soft thread around your waist,

And if you forget,

Just come back,

I'll be right here I hope this meditation landed with you in the way you needed it to,

I hope you feel just a little more seen,

A little more softened,

A little more you thank you,

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for showing up,

You did something beautiful by pausing,

Let that be enough
