And just find your comfortable spot,
Whether it's outside under the trees or inside in a quiet room.
You can choose to remain seated or you can choose to lie down.
Whichever feels most comfortable to you.
And now close your eyes gently.
All you need to focus on is your breath.
Let's clear away any lingering to-do lists for today's meditation.
Let go of any expectations.
All you need to do is follow along with the instructions.
Just listen to my voice.
Breathe in your natural rhythm.
Notice the inhale as it fills you and the exhale as it releases.
And just bring your awareness solely to the breath.
There is nothing to do or control in this moment.
Just simply breathe.
Remind yourself to relax and say,
I am relaxing.
Give yourself permission to unwind.
Give yourself permission to relax in this moment.
And just notice how your breath smooths out.
Slowing down with each passing moment.
Feel the relaxation deepening with every breath you take.
Your body effortlessly sinks further and further with each inhale and exhale.
From the tips of your toes,
Right the way up to the crown of your head,
You feel each part of your body easing into a state of peace.
And starting from the tips of your toes,
Let the relaxation spread gently through your feet,
Ankles,
Legs,
All the way up to your waist and torso.
And now just allow your fingers,
Hands,
Wrists,
And arms to soften.
Feeling the tension melting away.
And sense the relaxation enveloping your chest,
Back,
Shoulders,
Neck,
And just easing any remaining tightness.
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
And you feel the back of your throat relax.
And the back of your neck and head release any lingering strain.
Let your entire face soften.
From your forehead to your jaw.
And just allowing your eyelids to grow heavier and heavier with each passing moment.
Your whole body continues to relax with every breath,
Sinking deeper into a state of serenity.
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
Give yourself permission to fully embrace and surrender to this present moment of relaxation.
And any sounds that you hear only deepen your sense of peace and calmness.
Feel the gentle wave of relaxation flowing throughout your entire body.
Soothing every muscle and fibre.
Allow your thoughts to simply exist.
Surrender to them,
Observing without judgment.
Be the witness of your thoughts.
Let them come and go freely.
There is no need to do anything or exert any control over your thoughts.
Just be present with them.
Allowing them to pass through your mind like clouds in the sky.
In just a moment,
You'll inhale deeply.
Hold your breath briefly and experience breath retention.
And then as you exhale,
Release all tension from your body.
Not yet.
But in just a moment,
I'll count down from 10 to 1.
And when I reach 1,
Take a nice,
Deep breath,
Allowing yourself to relax even further.

9,
8,
7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Now take a deep inhale,
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold your breath gently and feel the stillness within.
Now,
Exhale slowly,
Releasing all tension and letting go of everything.
Once more,
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air.
Hold the breath gently.
Now exhale slowly,
Releasing all tension and allowing everything to flow out.
Again,
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Drawing in that fresh revitalising air.
Hold that breath for a moment.
And as you exhale,
Let go of all tension in your body.
Feel the stress,
Worry and anxiety melt away,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.
And now just allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
And just notice the calm spreading throughout your body,
Like gentle waves washing over you.
And just feel that peace within as you continue to breathe deeply and effortlessly.
And just repeating to yourself,
I will remain calm and steady today.

And let these words sink into your being,
Anchoring you in a state of tranquility and stability for the remainder of the day.
And just allow that mantra to sink into your heart so that you can come back to it when you need it.
Simply place your hand over your heart.
And just notice the feeling of steadiness and calmness.
