We are going to be exploring the Archetypes of the Lover.
Then towards the end,
I am going to be providing you with a short guided meditation to assist you with connecting and embodying the Lover within.
As you embrace Divine Love and your connection with the Universe.
Let me first of all share with you my Soul Pathway Oracle Card here.
The Lover Archetype is the part of ourselves which craves love,
Intimacy and emotional connection in relationships.
It has been said that without love,
The soul does not engage with life itself and we are left feeling lonely,
Empty and even that void inside of ourselves.
In the early stages,
The Lover may appear selfish,
Jealous,
Controlling or even sexually obsessed.
If you are connecting deeply with the Lover Archetype though,
It is an invitation to awakening,
An initiation of the heart in which you are being led to follow your bliss.
As you live from your Higher Self,
Join with others in the acknowledgement that we are all connected.
You are being called to welcome,
Embrace and truly love yourself.
As I have already mentioned,
Without love,
The soul does not engage with life itself.
The first task of the child is to bond with someone or something.
This often goes back to the first bond at which you have with your mother who provides you with that unconditional and Divine Love.
So this can also be someone else in your life who has expressed that unconditional love within your childhood.
Let us now explore the layers of consciousness within the Lover Archetype though.
Within the first layer of consciousness,
You are being led to follow your bliss and do what you love.
This is expressed within the work that you do.
It is essential for you to connect with your heart and do what you love in each and every moment so that you can awaken to the Divine Love within you.
It has been said that when you follow your bliss,
The universe will open doors for where there is only once walls.
As you shift towards the second level of consciousness here,
Your task then becomes making commitments and a bonding to whom and what you love.
And this bond shifts from your mother towards the Divine relationships in your life so that you can give and receive love and awaken your heart from within.
That is essential for you to have trust and faith in the universe,
Knowing that your relationships will all come together in Divine timing.
As you then finally transition to the third layer of consciousness,
You then begin to awaken to that radical self-acceptance and love and you give birth to your true self,
Connecting the personal with the transpersonal and the individual with the collective,
Knowing that each and every one of us are connected and we can all embrace that Divine Love within.
As with all of the archetypes,
They also have shadow aspects.
So let me share with you some of the shadow aspects of the lover archetype here,
Which can come in the form of jealousy,
Envy,
The obsessive fixation on a love object or relationship,
Can even have sexual addictions and obsession with sex or even pornography.
So it's essential for you to connect with those emotions and feelings within,
Maybe the addictions that you find yourself connected with and notice where they come from so that you can heal your wounds and awaken to that Divine Love within you.
For your calling here is to connect with that infatuation,
Seduction and that inner yearning as you fall in love with yourself,
Another and even the work at which you do so that you can embrace Divine Love and your connection with the universe.
Now let me provide you with a short guided meditation to assist you with connecting and embodying the lover within.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And allow yourself to relax,
Let go and allow yourself to become present.
Imagine now finding yourself in the womb of your mother,
Feeling that protection and that deep connection with her,
Embracing that deep bond within you.
Knowing that you're protected,
You're supported and you're nurtured in this moment and that your mother is providing you with this unconditional love.
Feel into it and allow it to slowly emerge from within you.
Connect with your heart and allow this to assist you with giving birth to your true self as you find and do that at which you love.
Now is a time for you to follow your bliss.
Connect with your passion,
Your purpose and bring love to each and everything at which you do.
For when you follow your bliss,
The universe will open doors for where there was only once wars.
As you begin doing that which you love,
You can begin to awaken that love within you.
As you activate that divine love and you make commitments and bond with those at which you love.
And these are your divine relationships,
That divine love that you connect with as you embrace another.
Feel that bonding,
Connection and protection at which you had with your mother as you transfer these feelings to your divine lover as you feel that love within you.
As you give that unconditional love,
You can allow it to be received back to you.
Now is a time for you to embrace that radical self-acceptance and love within as you give birth to your true self and you connect with one and the universe and awaken to that true divine love with one and everything.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and come back to now.
