Explore MeditationAvantika or Ava, as she likes to go by, has been meditating for 6+ years now. Ava likes to supplement her meditation practice with yoga and movement. Ava enjoys staying active and enjoys reading novels, self help books and more. Ava began meditating to help alleviate stress and the demands of university. Aside from meditating, Ava works in a demanding corporate job and so has used the benefits of yoga and meditation to provide a channel through which mind and body connects. In her spare time, Ava enjoys looking after her plants (and and buying more), and going for walks. Ava hopes her meditation and yoga practice resonates with the broader Insight Timer community. Her goal is to make any day just a little more positive, a little more joyous and a little more grounded for you all.
