Take a moment to settle yourself.
This is your time for your nourishment and growth.
Whether you're standing,
Sitting or lying down,
Notice the connection you have with the earth.
Take a breath in to open out your chest and your heart and close your eyes as you breathe out.
This is a meditation for spring growth.
When we work with the seasons we can make the most of our energy and our energy in connection with the rest of life.
So let yourself settle into your body as much as you are able to do in this moment.
Acknowledge that you are giving yourself this time and everything else can wait.
You've come through the winter and like the rest of nature around you there are parts of you that are ready to start stretching and bringing more energy to what you do and who you are in a new and lifted way.
Notice what your body wants to do.
It may want to stay in stillness with this or it may want to move.
If it does,
Let it guide you.
Imagine deep within you like a seed that's been waiting through winter there's a part of you that's been building energy and strength waiting for more warmth and nourishment from the sun and it's starting to push out now.
It's starting to stretch and unfurl.
Feel that pushing down of the roots,
Taking their place stretching out,
Connecting and holding you firm holding you safe and secure.
Notice what that feels like.
And then from your roots bringing up that nourishment through every part of you and up through your core enabling you to hold yourself with more strength in movement and in stillness taking up your place in connection with yourself and in connection with life around you.
And then from there your unfurling continues as your leaves and branches unfurl and stretch up.
If your body is wanting to reach up,
Your arms literally going to unfurl and stretch like branches let them.
Allow that movement like the trees in the breeze knowing that your roots and trunk,
Your core are keeping you strong keeping you grounded and connected so that you can stretch out you can grow in all your glory.
Again,
Notice what that feels like.
Then with your breath,
Take yourself back to your heart.
What in you is ready to grow?
What in you is ready to stretch out and use this rising energy?
What care and nourishment do you need along the way?
And there may well be some fear about allowing yourself to expand about what you want to grow and do.
So come back to your body.
Remember those roots deepening your core strengthening and your branches stretching out.
By staying with this,
By connecting with you,
You can grow well.
And you can continue to grow and flourish even with those fears along the way.
They'll likely be there from time to time.
And that's okay.
But this is you.
This is you taking your place giving yourself permission.
Marinate in that.
And now I invite you to tilt your face and imagine the sun shining on it warming you and nourishing you so that you can grow,
Stretch,
Create all at your own pace.
In the natural world,
Everything grows and flourishes at different paces.
And there's a reason for that.
We need to accept our own pace at any given time on our life path.
And so give yourself as long as you need to be in movement or stillness with yourself and with whatever is arising in you with the spring.
