Self-love coach.

And oh,

I'm just beyond excited to be here with you,

Megan.

It's so nice talking with you and chatting with you.

I'm so excited to be here.

I'm really excited.

Like obviously the point of this podcast is to share your story and your journey of like leaping and the net appearing,

But I'm super excited to hear more about like what you're up to in the world now.

And what your work and your like mission right now is.

Yeah,

My mission right now,

So I'm a self-love coach.

I help women essentially get over their exes,

Heal from heartbreak and move on,

Connect to a relationship with their higher self.

And I really just truly want women to find the love of their life,

Become the queen of their life and find their king.

And that's just my mission right now for all these ladies to bring in the love that they need and the love that they deserve and really show them that they deserve it for themselves.

So that's my mission right now.

And I'm just happy to just be that person for them to guide them,

To guide the way for them,

Yeah.

I love that.

I love the part about like becoming that first for yourself because as soon as,

Or not as soon as there's something external,

But when you're seeking something to like fulfill you or to give you what you think you need,

It's like we miss the point that everything we need is within us.

Even if it is a connection to something bigger or beyond,

It still is in us.

Yeah.

Thank you for doing that work for women like that.

It's such a big piece.

And I think it's something that we can like consciously know and logically,

You know,

We hear self-love is the most important thing and blah,

Blah,

Blah,

But it's a lot of lip service.

And it's a whole different ball game to actually embody that and feel it and live from that place,

Right?

Mm-hmm.

Yes,

Yes.

The embodiment of self-love,

Becoming it before you attract it.

So knowing,

Just it's the knowing that is there.

It's within you.

And that becoming that before you attract it is just that,

It's just that.

The embodiment of yourself,

Of your love,

Of you're empowered as a woman and becoming that before things start showing up for you,

Aligning with that energy.

Mm-hmm.

Which is universal for love,

For things you want to manifest,

Money,

You know,

A man.

That's love.

Yeah.

It's like all the external things,

The life that we want,

We have to live it.

Like we have to feel it.

We have to be it.

We have to like,

I'm big on the concept of living from the end or thinking from the end.

It's like where you already have it,

You already are it and living in that vibration.

Yeah.

Oh,

And that's so fitting for like,

It's the same for the trust.

It's like trusting that life will work out,

Trusting that if you make these big crazy leaps,

If you do these things that seem crazy from the outside,

It's like you have such a connection to this knowing that like,

No,

I know I'll be supported because I can already tap into that.

I can already feel into that reality where it all works out.

And then it has no choice but to show up.

Yeah,

Well,

It already exists.

Knowing that it already exists for you and that there's no other option,

But this is what I'm gonna choose for myself.

And we'll probably get in a little bit more into this,

But just by aligning,

Like you said,

With the vibrations and allowing certain things to just come to you knowing that this is my truth or this is not my truth.

So I'm gonna step away from this because I know that these things are gonna work out for me and these things are gonna show up for me and saying no to other things.

Like that's the most important thing is knowing that like,

What you envision and what you have inside you already exists.

You just have to show up in a line with that and show up with that energy.

And it's already there for you.

It's already happening somewhere.

You just have to feel into it.

Yeah,

Become a match to it,

Right?

How do you work with that?

Like,

Do you have a process to know when something comes your way and you're like,

Is this my truth?

Is this what I want?

I know it can be easy at the beginning of working with manifesting,

But it's like,

How do I know what I want?

How do I know what's right?

And we can get caught up in the story that we don't know.

And I believe that's a lie.

It's just a choice to trust that I do always know.

I am always guided.

I can't fuck it up.

It's already happening.

It's there.

It's mine.

And then like,

Oh my God,

It's like actually in my reality.

Yeah.

But if you have anything that you teach your clients around that or that you practice to like feel your yes and your no.

There are so many practices actually that you can,

I do for myself and I also do with my clients.

It really depends on your journey and your vision,

What you want for yourself.

Everybody has a different outcome and everything that they want to manifest and to invest in.

I always teach intuition and self-trust first.

So when I have my clients come on and I even started this beginning of my journey is learning how to trust yourself and just like really,

Really trusting your yeses and your nos.

Going in and asking yourself questions.

Is this a yes for me?

How does this feel in my body?

And that's also connecting to your truth,

Connecting into your body and getting out of the mind.

I think the mind controls so much and the ego is driven by fear and all these things.

And when you can sit with yourself and ask your body,

Is this my truth?

Is this true for me?

And feeling how expansive it would be to have this or the contraction of just this is an icky feeling and anxiety,

Knowing the difference between those two.

And like I said,

There's so many different practices you can do,

Especially like with the feminine and the masculine and stepping into your femininity as a woman and knowing how much power you hold as a female.

And that's just really a beautiful part of my work too is trusting the gut feeling and trusting,

We do a lot of like pussy power magic and that is just a topic that we could talk about all day.

But yeah,

Yeah.

So I would just,

I usually start with self-trust.

Like,

If you don't trust yourself,

Then you're not gonna trust that what the future holds is gonna be true for you and your worth and what you deserve.

Yeah,

Yeah.

Like there's so many things I wanna,

There's so many directions I wanna take that and I hope you come back and like touch on everything you just said.

But I,

Yeah,

Just one thing that came up was I have been very familiar for a long time with like the concept of what feels expansive,

What feels contracted.

And I remember I said that to someone or it was something I posted online,

I can't remember,

But someone reached out to me and said,

How,

What do you mean?

What do you mean it feels expansive?

Like,

How do you know?

And I was like,

Whoa,

Okay,

This comes easier to me than some people.

Like,

How can I explain it?

And I remember trying to explain it.

And it dawned on me,

Like,

There's no words.

There's no words for these feelings.

It has to become a practice.

It has to be like,

I can't sit here and tell you and no one can what it's gonna feel like for you.

It's a matter of you as an individual,

Sitting in stillness with yourself,

With your body,

Feeling your body and the sensations that come up and just becoming really familiar with that.

Cause it might feel different for me.

It might feel different for you than it does from like for every single person.

And there is so much power in the feminine and in our bodies and our cycles,

Our rhythms and all of that.

And I feel like more women are waking up to that.

And it is becoming a bit more,

It's like coming more to the surface and we are feeling more comfortable and empowered talking about it.

But for so long,

Like as far back as I can imagine,

That's been like kind of shamed and stifled and now we're just kind of coming back into it.

So it's also like,

Give yourself some flexibility and some compassion and gentleness as you come back to like get to know and feel and tap into that power.

Yeah,

And that's a story that we all hold onto cause that's where I came from.

And I know we both have the body image coaching in our past and that for me started with not knowing how to feel and the numbing and which led me to my journey now of when I first started to embody some of these practices,

I didn't know what a sensation felt like.

I was so numb and I didn't know how to process emotions or feel them or even acknowledge them being there because we're so conditioned in certain ways like not to feel our emotions,

Especially as women.

We're shut down so much in our lives and the generations before us just shut down.

We're not taught how to love our bodies.

We're not taught how to feel into our bodies,

Feel into our truth.

And that's where this work starts.

No matter which way you take it,

It always starts with feeling into your body and feeling your emotions.

Otherwise there's nowhere to lead yourself cause you have to feel first.

Yeah,

Yeah.

Tap into that inner wisdom.

Yeah,

And no matter where you take it,

That's the foundation.

That's it,

That's your home for this life,

Your body.

Yeah,

I always tell my clients,

I go,

Girl,

You have to come back home.

You get up into your head,

You get into other people's head space and you attract other energies.

I'm like,

Come back home,

Come back into your heart.

This is the safety that you're gonna have is right in your heart and your body is your home.

So I'd love to hear a bit more about your journey and what that looked like for you coming from that place where you were numb and not aware of this stuff that you're now teaching on.

And what an evolution that must have been.

Can you tell us a bit about that story?

Long story,

Long story short,

I'm gonna start where,

And this is recent for me of just,

Within the past two years of just really waking up and being in touch with myself,

I have a journey of,

I struggled with alcohol and I dabbled in numbing with my Adderall prescriptions and some drugs and I had this addiction to finding external things to,

What's the word I'm looking for?

To just take over so I didn't have to feel my own stuff and to just replace that time of being with myself.

And so I got to a point where I knew that it's either you stay here and you continue this path or you have to choose something else.

And I chose to dip into something else and I went completely,

I was sober for about six months and I just focused on my health.

And that just led into the coaching of,

I want other women to feel this way.

I feel good,

I'm losing weight,

I'm doing all these things for my body.

But I was still noticing I had certain patterns that were just not healthy and they kept coming up for me,

Especially in relationships where I was choosing these,

I say you choose a man with the same man with a different face and it's just the same patterns and I'm like,

Why do I keep,

I'm loving myself but I'm choosing men that just aren't aligned with the love that I'm showing for myself and then I go back to the old patterns of self-destruction and just being abused in other ways.

And I came to a place where this is why I do the work that I do with helping women get over their ex.

And so recognizing these patterns of attracting a certain type of partner and having to relapse and go through the negative behaviors again,

I was in a place where I didn't know what I was doing wrong and I had to kind of reach out and this is where my faith stepped in of reaching out to my spirituality and reaching out into something that was bigger than me and bigger than the things that I knew and that's where this all started,

Was coming and knowing that I was denying a certain part of myself for so long and it was showing up in my alcohol,

It was showing up in the men that I was choosing,

It was showing up in my dieting and my food,

My body image,

The fluctuating and just that unhealthy cycle of like,

I love myself but I don't and I can barely look at myself in the mirror without thinking something really terrible.

And something is missing here,

Like this cannot be life,

This is not how it should be.

And knowing that I wanted to shift in that way,

Because I chose that I don't want this to be my story,

That's when things started to change and I started to get little nudges here and there and our books would like fall off shelves and here read this and I'm just like,

Okay,

Like I feel like someone is bleeding me,

It's guiding me to this work and it got to a point where I said,

I was just saying no to so many things,

Like this doesn't serve me,

This doesn't serve me,

Like you don't serve me,

Doing all those things and I just started to really tap into my truth and what I wanted and that's when all of this started to unfold for me.

And I see that in my clients too,

Once they tap into what is true for them,

Then we start to lean on that more than go to the things that numb us and that keep us small.

And that's where my work started and that's where my foundation of embodying my personal truth and this work came from is knowing that I had more to offer and I want women to know that they have more to offer too and they deserve more.

And that led me to this type of work of helping women in relationships because it's the relationship that is the problem right now for you,

But it stems down to the connection with yourself.

So when we obsess over men and why they're not calling us or why my ex boyfriend broke up with me and then you attracted the same partner right after that one and you have the same exact outcome,

It's because you're not seeing the bigger picture and that's the connection with yourself and that's where I am right now.

Yeah,

It's that deciding,

It's like things get to be different for me now and that's when you get those little nudges and you get those signs and it's like probably the people that come to you as well have reached a point where they're like,

Hey,

On some level I've decided I want a different outcome,

I want to,

I'm deciding I get to end this cycle,

This pattern,

This whatever and then you show up in their lives.

Like that's 100% how I know it works for me and with the people who come to me,

Even like you finding,

Like you ending up on this podcast,

It's like it was all and everyone listening,

Like I could just go on exponentially like outward,

We're all just being guided based on the vibration that we're living in but the decisions that we make from that energetic place of like this is how it's gonna get to be for me from now on and then everything lines up and then you're here listening to this podcast and you're like,

Oh my God,

They're saying exactly what I needed to hear right now and it's like that's not a coincidence.

Yeah,

And that,

I love that so much.

That's like my favorite part of this work,

Especially as being the guidance for these people and for everyone like listening.

I love to show up and I always say to myself,

It doesn't matter about the timing,

Whatever I have to say right now in this moment is because some buddy,

It could be one person,

It could be 10,

000 people,

Someone needs to hear this message and I don't care if it's one person but if I can change one person's life just by saying this certain post or coming onto this podcast and something slipping out and I don't even realize it and it just clicks in a different way for somebody,

Then that's what I've been put on this planet to do.

That's my work and that's our work and that's what makes us so beautiful and yeah,

Everyone here is listening for a reason and I love that.

Yeah,

And it's kind of that giving yourself the,

I think it goes a bit deeper maybe than permission but it's like recognizing that our job as the leader,

As the coach,

As whatever the purpose that you serve on whatever level,

You're a channel for something bigger beyond like out there.

It's that source energy working through you and I think that we can only get to that place maybe,

Whether this is true for everyone or not,

I feel like we get to that place when we heal all the bullshit,

All the like,

Oh my God,

My body's not where I want it or I'm so mad at myself about this,

I should have done better or I should be different,

I need to fix myself or whatever.

We get so caught up in all of this bullshit that keeps us stuck and keeps us small but when we can recognize that as not true,

Not helpful,

Not serving our highest self,

Our highest purpose,

It's like we can see it for what it is and we can step into something bigger and you know that even if you,

Like you said something in that about,

You don't even realize you say something or sometimes it's like,

Oh my God,

I can't believe I said that thing.

So I used to teach Bikram yoga and it's all like the teacher stands at the front of the room and says the dialogue for the class and whatever,

It's just a whole bunch of talking for 90 minutes and there would be times I'd say,

Just come out of my mouth,

I don't even know where it came from and sometimes they'd be like,

Oh God,

Why did I have to say that?

And someone will come out of class at the end and be like,

Chelsea,

Thank you for saying that thing.

And I'm like,

You mean the thing that I was completely cringing about but it's like trusting in the bigger picture,

Trusting that everything that comes through is perfect,

Is needed no matter what you're in for.

No matter what your ego mind,

Your fear mind,

Your inner child,

Whatever,

Thinks about it or how they wanna maybe create a story about how it's not perfect.

It's like,

No,

Not perfect doesn't exist.

Right.

That was one of those things.

Like,

What did I just say?

Not perfect doesn't exist,

Is that true?

Matter if it's true or not,

That's what needed to come through and that's what needed to be said.

So as you live in that place of trust,

It's like everything else gets to work out because you know and you trust and you flow with just whatever comes and you play with it and you work with it and you just have a good time with it and then more magic unfolds.

Yeah,

And I think what you said earlier was perfect.

And that's actually like the key here is that there is no right or wrong,

There's no good or bad.

And it's all just,

It is,

It is what it is.

And I know some people don't like that saying because it just kind of,

I guess,

Distracts us from things that are actually happening.

But when I look at,

You know,

And I'm the same way,

I look back and I'm like,

Oh my gosh,

I can't believe I did that.

And I can fill up with so much shame and guilt,

But I also am on a path to like greater existence and like I am a product of the divine,

We all are.

And there's no,

There's nothing bad about that.

So you can't do anything to fuck it up.

You can't do anything to not,

Even if you do something that you don't agree with or that you look back and you can be ashamed of,

It doesn't matter because it doesn't even exist anymore.

Because the only thing that exists is what we're working towards.

And that even we don't,

I don't even think like a lot of the things that exist now are even like happening.

I just know like wherever I am in my higher self and that higher vision and that source and that's connected so closely to the universe,

That's the only thing that matters.

Everything that I'm doing right now is just a way and like a path of me like getting there.

And I think that's the one thing that we need to remember is there's no such thing as not being perfect.

There's no such thing as perfect.

You are who you are because you have to learn,

You're on a soul's journey.

You have to learn all these things.

And even if it's right or wrong,

It's getting you to a certain place no matter what.

And that's the only thing that we need to really care about.

Yeah.

And lean into.

Yeah.

Talk about having like,

Just hearing you say that you have such a strong connection to that.

Like I think of it as my future self or the thing that I want to manifest.

But even that energy of like the thing that I want,

Thinking about it like that takes us out of that just fully living as much as we can in that knowing that it already exists.

It's already there.

It's already us.

Like,

I am that person.

You know that mantra,

I am that I am?

Yeah.

It's like,

It's exactly that I am that I am.

And being and vibrating and living from that place.

And it's like,

I don't care if you're talking about business,

If you're talking about body image,

If you're talking about love,

If you're talking about whatever,

This is a universal truth.

And it's like,

However many times you need to hear it before it clicks,

But there are so many people teaching this.

And that's when it starts to like,

That's when I start to have these massive light bulb moments whereas before it was something I could logically understand like things like the law of attraction.

Even now I'm kind of diving into more like shadow work stuff and it's just like the same teachings are being taught,

Have always been taught with slightly different packaging and slightly different wording and from a different like,

Vessel.

But it's all just truth that eventually when it clicks and you can go from it being this mental understanding into like,

Boom,

It drops,

You're living it,

It's in you,

You're vibrating at that and it becomes a core belief.

It's everything starts to shift and it's like,

Okay,

New level,

New reality.

I'm here now,

I can see where I was,

I still have compassion for where I was,

That was all part of the journey that got me here and now I'm on another journey to like continue to go even further onward and upward.

Yeah,

And recognizing when you hit that,

That like they call it the edge,

Like when you hit that wall,

Knowing that there's something beyond that wall,

But I just hit it so this is gonna hurt for a little bit.

But if I sit here and I ask myself,

Okay,

What can I learn about this?

What is driving me to hit this wall to where I have to get over it and I need to continue to rise?

And that's something I've been hitting this wall for,

Like it's every second I'm just telling the universe,

Remove everything,

Teach me everything,

Whatever I need to do,

I'm gonna do it,

I'm willing to do it in order to get there and connect even more.

So whatever you need to put me through,

I'm willing to do it and I promise that I'm gonna be okay with it and I'm not gonna hold resentment or I'm not gonna hold guilt or shame,

I'm just gonna ride it and I'm gonna see,

Okay,

What do I need to learn from this and how can I overcome it?

How can I sit with it and how can I rise from it?

And that's just like the beauty of what you said too about shadow work is rising above the shadow and knowing that there's always something brighter on the other side to that and we can sit,

We can toss and turn about why something is the way that it is but again,

That doesn't matter either because what really matters is where you're going and connecting to that and we do that as humans too.

We're so funny because our brains want to identify with something or it wants to go back and attach ourselves to,

Okay,

I do this thing because of X,

Y and Z and that does feel good in certain ways to be able to make sense of something but it's not always that important where if you can just sit and acknowledge it and validate,

Okay,

This is here,

I am understanding this,

I hit this wall,

Now how do I rise above?

And that's the shift,

Learning to do that.

Yeah,

The sitting with it and the acceptance and just,

Yeah,

It just is and then,

Yeah,

A couple of things I wanna say,

What you talked about reaching that wall,

It reminds me of,

There's a book called The Big Leap by,

Is his name Gay Hendricks?

I think that's the name of the author.

He talks about upper limits and you reach this point where it's like no longer,

It's like your limit,

Your upper limit,

And to break through it,

There is more,

There is beyond because you see other people living that you can feel it's possible for you but like what needs to happen in order to get there and to fully be honest,

I haven't finished reading that book,

But I know the last book,

So I hope I'm not butchering it but I'm a big believer in that,

That everything is perfect and if I get a nugget of gold from a book,

I'm like,

Okay,

Thank you,

Close it up but there's that with that,

Like moving beyond those upper limits,

It's like,

Hey,

You need to like feel and be present with what's going on but then sitting with it and knowing that you can move beyond,

Sometimes it's as simple as just like being willing to look for a better feeling thought or just whatever feels slightly better.

We don't need to,

We feel stuck or we feel we're in that place where we've hit our limit,

It's not like,

Oh,

But I really wanna be like way further than this and move past this already but sometimes it's just that little shift and then you make that little shift and then that little shift grows and it turns into a bigger shift and then it snowballs and eventually it's like,

Oh my goodness,

You look back and it's just completely night and day from where you were.

Yeah.

So much good stuff,

Like it's,

Yeah.

There's so much power to that in just like being open,

Being willing to shift,

To move beyond,

To grow,

To evolve,

To just witness and experience what your next level might be.

Yeah,

And what,

That wall that we hit,

A lot of us stay there too because we don't have the tools or I don't wanna say confidence but I guess the tools,

Is the right word,

Of being able to overcome certain things and we think like,

Okay,

This is good enough,

I'm gonna stay here and I'm just gonna ride this out and that's going back to being part of my story where I always felt like I was quote unquote stuck and this is good enough,

I'm just gonna work bare minimum,

I'm just gonna do this like little thing and yeah,

I can stay here for the rest of my life,

Like this is okay but why not go for the kill,

Like go bigger,

Why not,

Like why are we so afraid or why are we so small minded into thinking that this is all that there is for us and we're not the chosen one,

Like why not me,

Why not you,

Why not her,

Him and all these people,

There's no such thing as being chosen,

It's just being and then knowing that like you are capable of those things,

How do I get there and how can I continue to evolve and to trust and to lean into things that are my truth rather than settling,

You know?

Yeah,

A big theme that has come up on I would say like almost every episode so far and it goes with the leaping and the net appearing but it's giving up the good to go for the great because that's really what it is when you take a big leap or you make a big life change or you just,

You know you want more,

You know you want better and you go for it,

It's that okay,

Well this was fine,

I was surviving,

You know,

I had my challenges but you know,

I could have just cruised along here for the rest of my life and it would have probably fit in with society's expectations or the people around me,

Like it all would have been just really comfortable and safe and fine.

Oh yeah,

Yeah.

We have that choice,

It's available to us,

Like cool,

Do that,

That's fine,

You know,

That's your soul's experience in this lifetime and if that's what you're here to play out then okay.

Yeah.

But there is great available for each of us and I believe we know on a deep level what that great is because it's the thing that's pulling us,

It's that little subtle nudge that if we haven't done the work to get still and just listen and be in our body then we maybe don't feel like it's there,

We have no idea what we think that our great might be but it is there,

It's that little knowing and that like oh,

Wouldn't that be amazing.

Yeah.

You imagine if I could do that or have that and then it's like okay,

Well that's the thing.

Yeah,

Well going back into our body and our truth and part of my story is I was actually a flight attendant for about four years so I had the glam.

I had you live the dream life,

You have this glamorous like traveling job,

I had 401k,

I had all my health benefits,

I traveled for a living,

I had benefits,

I was traveling all over the world,

I was meeting all these people and I was not living in my truth and I was still struggling with body image,

I was still struggling with my relationships,

I was still struggling with not being truly happy.

I would go home and I would cry and just cry and I always ask myself what is it that I need here?

Why can't I be happy here?

Am I always gonna be unhappy?

Am I always gonna want more and not be able to settle for something?

And that's also a misconception too where you have to be happy with what you have and that's not necessarily true I believe.

If you want more,

You're more than welcome to go after it and I think you should give yourself permission to walk away from anything that doesn't truly fulfill you and light you up and so I did that.

I walked away and I quit my job and I was doing it for four years,

I was making good money and I actually,

I'm from Massachusetts and I now live in California.

I quit my job,

I did the thing,

I quit my job,

I packed up my car and I drove across country and everyone thought that I was out of my mind.

Why would you quit this,

Like a couple more years and you'll be able to make all these like six figures and blah,

Blah,

Blah and I was like,

You wanna know because this doesn't light up myself.

Like this does not light me up and for an example for the listeners of how to connect to your body and connect to your truth,

I felt awful every single day going into work.

My body told me it's time to go but I didn't listen for the longest time because I didn't know how to listen to my body,

I didn't know that it spoke to me until I started doing this work and then when I started to eliminate the things that were numbing me and I decided to,

Okay,

I'm gonna go full force into this and really,

Really tap into my intuition,

Tap into my truth,

What's my purpose here on this planet?

That's when my body was like,

Thank you for waking up,

Like I've been here the whole entire time talking to you,

Yelling at you and I've been giving you all these signs and you've never listened to me and now you finally are and that nudge and that pull is that gut feeling and I go back to teach my clients this with relationships and knowing that gut,

If something does not feel good,

There's a difference between resistance and dissonance,

If it's a fuck no,

Like if you think of it and it's an instant no,

That's your intuition,

Your intuition's like,

No,

I'm good,

I don't want that but if it's like,

This kind of feels scary to me,

I'm not really sure,

I'm a little resistant,

Why?

Like what's on the other side of resistance that's so beautiful that could possibly be closer to your truth and that's something I had to kind of overcome and I knew that this job was not for me,

This lifestyle was not for me,

I don't wanna come home and see my boyfriend once every four days and I don't want to be in a place where I'm crying every day before work,

This is not what life should be like and I left it,

I took the leap and I left and here I am and because I did that,

I opened up so many new possibilities,

The universe was like,

I'm so happy for you for doing that,

So here's all these things,

Here you go,

Because you eliminated those things,

I'm gonna give you more,

That's part of your truth.

Because that's almost like another aspect of that deciding,

Like okay,

Here's this shift,

I'm listening now,

I'm paying attention to all of these signals and it like puts you into a new place,

It puts you into that as Abraham Hicks calls it,

The vortex.

Vortex,

Yes.

And you're in that and then things start to feel good and when you go from being in such a numb and unfulfilled place straight into that,

It's like,

Holy shit,

You look back at what you just leapt from or made that shift from and it's like you see the contrast and the new reality where stuff does flow,

Where you do have these synchronicities,

Where little miracles or big miracles appear,

It's like,

Oh,

Okay,

What's this?

It is there,

It is available,

But it's not really available while we're still willing to avoid it or play small or not even just ignore,

But go against our body's wisdom and our body's signals.

Yeah,

Going into that topic,

When we avoid our truth,

We avoid our body's signals,

I believe it's similar to the universe and giving that lesson over and over again.

It's not gonna stop until you learn it and your body's not gonna stop knocking at the door.

There's so many techniques that I teach my clients about how to listen to your body and it can happen in painful ways where our bodies are not meant to live in pain and they're not meant to live in conditions that are restricting and that are just not expansive.

I had so many signs where I was sick,

I was gaining weight,

I wasn't feeling good,

I was drained,

I had shoulder pains,

I was fluctuating,

I was back and forth with dieting and binge eating and then I was restricting again and again,

Going through the emotions with relationships too and I just got to a point where my body was so,

It was in such a broken state that I was like,

I don't wanna live this way and then when I started to ask my body,

What do you need right now,

How can I love you,

How can I continue to just nourish you and to do all the things that it needs to survive,

It needs to just be better,

I started to heal myself and I started to,

The weight started to drop off and my skin cleared up and I feel so amazing inside and just knowing those little things of what is your body saying to you in these moments and learning the cues in certain moments when something happens or if someone is brought into your life and you need to ask yourself,

Is this a yes or a no for me and feeling what your body's coming back and saying to you and knowing,

Okay,

This doesn't feel good for me so I'm gonna walk away from it rather than convince yourself that you should stay.

Yeah,

So much of it,

All of it really is that inner game.

Like when you said that about like you started losing weight and things started shifting,

It's like,

Isn't it funny how if we avoid doing that inner work,

We might be like,

And often do,

Approach it from a place of I need to lose weight,

I need to clear up my skin and it's like dealing with the symptoms of something much bigger.

And sure you might,

You can go on a diet,

You can go like,

You know,

No I shouldn't say torture yourself at the gym but just like,

You know,

From a place of wanting to change the outside or change the symptoms or whatever,

You do the things that again,

It is kind of that torture because it's fighting against yourself because yourself is still out of alignment and you're like trying to fix it but then it just is like,

Okay,

Well we're gonna give you new ways to try and get you to listen.

It has to start as always and with everything from the inside.

It's such important work you're doing.

Like I just wanna acknowledge that,

That,

You know,

We talked at the beginning about more women are coming into that awareness but it takes having these conversations out in the open and like being more vocal about like,

What is available to us?

What,

Especially as women,

Like what type of power our bodies contain?

And it doesn't surprise me that like,

We live in a society that has put all this pressure on women to change their bodies,

To look a certain way,

To like distract from the fucking power that we have because if we each tapped into that,

Oh my God,

It began.

Women would be running the world.

Yeah.

Like there's no way we couldn't because already the women who are waking up to their power are running their worlds individually and then on the bigger scale,

Like in their businesses,

With their clients,

With their relationships,

With their families,

Whatever.

But it's like,

It comes back to ourselves.

If you wanna have that impact,

If you wanna run the world,

If you wanna live in that full power,

Again,

Like it's still,

It has to come back to your individual inner world.

Yeah,

And you have the choice to do it in any moment.

Yeah.

And that was a huge lesson for me and I know it's a huge lesson for a lot of people and women especially,

Is you don't have to sit in your shit for a certain amount of time.

You can choose now.

You can change your story at any time that you want.

And that's when you start to tap into your power.

It's like,

I'm not gonna live this anymore.

This is not my story.

This is not gonna play out for me this way.

What can I reach for that's different?

And that is stepping into your power.

That's embodying the work right there,

Is knowing that you don't need anything external to change.

It will change once you start to shift,

But you don't need it to.

It's like,

You don't need the evidence.

You have to believe it.

You just have to know it's already true and then it will show up rather than,

When I get there then,

But there's no getting there.

It's just being.

And that subtle shift of like,

Okay,

You can choose that at any moment.

It is available.

All,

Like every moment of the day,

You can step into that.

And again,

It's not needing to see that big picture.

Like you said,

The outside world doesn't even need to change,

But it's just that shift inside of yourself of just being willing to see the possibilities of how things could be better.

It's not even beginning to create a different interstate.

It's like,

Can be as simple as,

Okay,

I'm willing.

I'm open to shifting this.

I'm aware of how,

Where I am right now,

Maybe not the most serving to me.

So,

Okay,

Cool.

Let's look at how we can shift it.

Yes.

Take the pressure off of like having to have it figured out,

Just open up to it.

Yeah,

I mean,

And there's so many things you can do and you can lean into.

And like you said,

The smallest thing that you can do right now,

In a second,

The listeners,

Just put your hand on your heart,

Take a deep breath in and close your eyes and just feel for a minute what comes forward for you.

And that's connection right there.

It doesn't matter what the thought is that comes forward or the feeling.

That's just connection of being with yourself.

And now give yourself a hug,

Feel your body,

Feel your skin,

Give yourself a little,

Just a big hug and just be like,

I love you girl,

Or guy,

Wherever you are.

And that,

I mean,

I just,

I smile so hard even just by saying that to our listeners because that shifted my energy in this one second.

Yeah.

You know?

I'm like,

I'm in the kitchen right now.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Oh,

It's so good.

And yeah,

That's just,

It's available.

It's there and it's,

You know,

Whatever.

I like that you said to whatever thought comes up because sometimes if you're in a funk,

The thought can be like,

What the fuck am I doing?

You know?

I say that every single day.

I'm in the kitchen,

I'm making eggs,

I'm like,

What the fuck is life?

What am I doing?

And it's like,

Okay,

That thought gets to be there.

Yeah,

Exactly.

It's all right.

Oh,
