To come upon the truth of living,
The truth about everything,
One must see the force.
The mind is so into all kinds of illusions,
Delusions,
Fantasies,
Ideas,
Theories.
To see these consciousness activities of full-world disorder,
The me,
The self,
The ego,
With all kinds of speculation,
Narratives.
And this life is surrounded by illusion.
Where there is illusion,
The truth is not.
The mind is trapped in the known,
And the known is full of all kinds of illusions.
Truth is not something known.
Instead only a mind that can stay unknown can come upon the truth of living.
So to come upon the truth,
One must have this qualitative mind,
Which is capable of seeing the force,
Negating the force.
That very acting leads to the truth.
Truth is not an idea,
A theory,
A thought.
Truth is beyond all that.
When the mind empties the known,
The force,
The illusion,
The mind is able to see the truth in the force.
By seeing the force,
The mind comes upon the truth.
One can't hear the truth from the speaker because the truth is not in the verse.
One must do it in person to really act,
To empty,
To let go.
So the mind can see the truth,
Which is a tremendous thing,
Beyond any verse.
But without doing that in person,
Merely listening is no use.
The mind is always translating what it hears into an idea.
That very doing so implies that the mind doesn't act.
Therefore,
Such a mind can't understand the truth at all.
The very translation is the laziness.
The mind is very lazy.
It is easier to translate than surely act to empty.
That's why this inquiry between you and the speaker requires sheer action from both of us.
Because the understanding is in the emptying,
Not accumulating.
But the mind has been used to accumulating all kinds of things,
Ideas,
Images,
Which only lead to illusions.
