I've been doing this show here for six years Talk Story,

The longest running talk show in Maui.

But this is my last show at Hawaiian Moons.

I'm very excited to have two,

Well actually more than two,

There's a lot of marvelous people around me right now.

But my guests today are John Roger and John Morton.

And John Morton's got his beautiful daughter Claire with them.

These are wonderful people who I really honor and respect and I couldn't think of a better way to do my last show here at Hawaiian Moons and have these very special guests.

You just came from a trip from Japan.

That's right.

Played a journey through Japan and some Zen,

Ancient Zen temples there in northern,

Northern Japan.

For people who aren't aware of John Roger and John Morton,

I became aware of them I think about four years ago.

John Roger and John Morton with the movement for spiritual inner awareness and gosh it was founded many many many years ago and over 26 years ago was that about?

Yeah I would say 1971 formally.

Wow.

1971 as a legal entity going on years before that to build up enough credibility in the eyes of the government.

So they'd say yes you exist legally.

Mm-hmm.

And you have since then put out so many wonderful books,

So many marvelous books.

I'm holding a couple of them here right now.

You have a great group that's based in Los Angeles that have been meeting for years and a New Day Herald newspaper that goes out.

You do seminars.

John Morton here has written a beautiful book just in my hands now.

I read this week and I have to say John,

This book is so inspiring.

I've been reading spiritual books all my life and this one was such a wonderful blessing.

It's called The Blessings Already Are.

I was so inspired.

Every word was a pearl,

A gem in this book,

Truly.

And it was so inspiring that I would like to start maybe with one of the,

I mean it truly is like right from the heart of God.

It really is that beautiful.

Here's a blessing.

This whole thing is full of blessings by the way.

So if you're feeling like you need a blessing,

You can pick up this book and you will have a blessing that is so powerful and every single word is renewing the blessing.

This is the blessing of grace and loving and I just kind of like to start with the blessing like that to set the tone.

God has a plan for you.

It is an insurance plan called grace.

Grace is that action of God that takes you home in spite of yourself,

In spite of your conditions.

Grace is available even for those actions about which you have said,

I would not do that.

And you have done it anyway,

Not just once but over and over.

In spite of it all,

You can give yourself over to God completely or as much as you can in each moment.

You do the best you can because God understands no matter where you find yourself,

No matter what has happened,

How you got yourself into it,

How entangled it is,

How complicated,

Misconstrued,

Misconceived,

Misaligned,

No matter what God understands.

And God's grace is always extended to you.

It goes on.

This whole book is just wonderful and John,

You wrote this book how long ago now?

Probably three or four years and then it takes a while to get it published.

So it came out in 2000,

So last year's when it was actually published.

Was it difficult with this?

You've got a very heavy schedule where you travel around the world,

Sometimes two trips or more a year.

You do many conferences,

Seminars.

You have what,

Three children or four children?

Three children.

Well I have four because when I married my beautiful wife,

She brought two ready to go and then since we were married we had two more.

So Claire,

Who's nine and on the cover of the book,

She's with me and I have Zane,

Who's four years old.

So you're a minister and now the director of MSIA.

Is it officially called the spiritual director?

Spiritual director,

Which is a convenient position.

I don't have to take all the responsibilities of the legal fiduciary parts of it,

But I get to come in and help give some ideas and direction about where things are going with their organization.

And you were handed the mantle over from JR,

Which is some very large shoes to fill.

You've got some big boots to fill.

Giant boots.

And those boots were made for walking,

I have to say.

They've been doing it too.

So here you are and he's got all these books out and this is your first book with MSIA.

Was it a little,

Did you feel a little intimidated hard with everything going on with all those elements,

Putting this book out?

Well of course I did and so you just do it anyway.

That's what I would recommend to anybody considering doing a book is you just make it happen,

Put some words down,

Keep putting some words down and then working on putting it together in some form and bring it to somebody who will help publish it.

I had a lot of help from people who transcribed and suggested things that I've done primarily in seminars.

So a lot of what the blessings are are blessings I spoke at various occasions and people suggested,

Boy this would be great if we put this in the book.

So I left the blessings more or less intact as a verbatim kind of thing and then the other parts of the book were taken from a lot of my talks and my experiences so that was easy to draw on.

Did you find after you put it together and read it and did all of that,

Was it an interesting experience for you personally to realize how much energy,

Spiritual energy you put out there that made this beautiful blessing of a book?

Well yes it's interesting you bring that up because when the book actually went to my hands the first copy that I received even though I'd worked on it for years and it's taken directly from my life and I intended to make sure that the words in there are,

Unless cited otherwise,

Are my words.

They're my experience.

When I started reading it for the very first time I received the blessings from it and I've had that experience many times since that even if I'm having personal challenges to pick the book up and open it up and these words start coming off the page that helped me and blessed me.

It's also been very rewarding hearing other people tell stories about how impactful the book has been for them.

When you're reading this book you get the feeling of acceptance.

There's a certain grace that comes over you that gives you the feeling like you know it's okay this is what it is.

You just get this wonderful feeling of acceptance and I think a bit of gratitude which comes with that blessing of going yeah yeah this is you know this is okay.

Well I relate to blessings and you know obviously the title already are means that there are they're present they're here they don't go away and it's us who gets misaligned or we forget in some way so it's a reminder as much as possible a constant reminder that hey when you're having difficulties and problems no matter what they are the blessings are present and if you'll have that kind of faith and trust to start looking for the blessings in any situation you'll start seeing them.

It's a very simple process.

How do you use after all these you've been doing this for years.

I have.

And the interesting part of course is is there's no instant enlightenment or even illumination where anything becomes where you make your path a lot easier.

I think for you it might have been that you just decided a commitment but there's still always the daily everyday challenges of doing everything you're doing.

Well I still hold out for the instant kind of enlightenment.

I'm putting my hand up right now if that's available and yes you're right it has been very gradual and for me it became something personal to begin with that was not considering I'm gonna be dedicating my life and my work to doing blessings and talking about spirituality and going all over the world to do it and it happened by my own personal exploration and discovery and then one thing led to another and I got very involved with John Rogers work and started helping and supporting his work and before I know it I'm doing a lot of the kinds of things that he's been doing over the years.

You know it is interesting in Hawaii we do blessings as a matter of just to us they're second nature you open a business you do a blessing you build a house you do a blessing you get married you do a blessing you do a blessing there was a crime lab that opened they did a blessing and I love that you know about Hawaii it's second nature with the Hawaiian way of life that you do something and you do a blessing and you call in the spirit and you call the light and you do the protocol with the blessing but yeah you know on the mainland of course you don't do that kind of thing I don't know I guess think people think it's not too cool I don't know something I think that's starting to change that I know there is more and more a focus of spirituality you see it with sports teams professional sports teams who take a moment to pray and you might think well they must be all going to the same church and I find that it's not about that so you can come from different faiths and still take a moment to remember that we're in a holy place we're in a holy presence wherever we are and because we give it our mind our attention something happens we're rewarded for that we are blessed when we remember that in this moment in every moment God is with us regardless of the terms to me the terms are as different as as people are but that's not really important that I find God's a unifying force what was one of the more powerful experiences you had with the presence of God can you can it can you relate one of the experiences you had where you really felt the Holy Spirit of the presence where it really felt transforming and changed you you know what I'm one comes to mind there are many many many in my life but one comes to mind the very first time I went to Jerusalem and which is a magnificent place to go regardless of your faith and it was getting towards sundown I decided to go from our hotel for a run that was kind of one of my ways of relating to different places and also just helping my body so I went for a run and I went to the old part of the city and I started running around the walls of the old part of the city on the side where the Mount of Olives is and then there's a valley there that has a lot of tombs tombs that are there from old times so you have two thousand year old tombs and then you've got graves and a lot of things have gone on and I realized where I was I was at the Temple Mount which is the place where Abraham was to sacrifice his son where Muhammad was ascended so a very holy place to the Muslims very holy place to the Jewish faith and here's where Jesus taught in the temples and across right across from where I was standing was the garden of Gethsemane so this is a place where he was arrested and place where he frequented and I was amazed that I was in this place a historical place if nothing else certainly lots of different faiths and I got goosebumps and chills and I was right where the the Holy Gate is what they refer to as the Holy Gate which and around 1100 something they sealed it but this is where the Messiah when he returns was to come and I just had a very profound experience being there to me that was very personal intimate and yet completely ordinary with cars going by and just all the sounds of modern life how does the light come and relate to where you are and transform you can still work through you and use you to bring the light out in others I mean it's an amazing process of the light and how it works and and it shines through people and and God's energy really sometimes is reflected off some people in some ways because I guess maybe you're receptive or whatever it is more than others and then that light can really spread well my experience is everybody has the light in them it's like the breath so if you breathe then you have the light if you have life force then it's there and as we exercise this light and attune to it then we become an instrument of light and I often tell people that you better prepared be prepared to serve because that's what's going to happen to you when you enlighten yourself you're going to be called upon to allow that light to work through you to go through you to others as a radiation and that's a fantastic amazing process in itself just to have your life be transformed so that the work of the spirit that's beyond me clearly beyond me so when people are assisted often by something I say or or just being with me I have people tell me that when they you know well when you put your hand on the air when I told you about this difficult situation I was having well it instantly changed thank you god bless you and they attribute to me and I I know that it's the light it's the spirit that we're all connected to and I'm very happy to to be a part of that so that I too am opened up to it more and more but I understand that it's something we all share none of us possesses it works through you and in a way you get tested if your ego ever does come in there's constantly like I said there's never any point where life stops so you probably have to go through your own tests and trials that's equal to where you are in your own place right to always kind of balance out some people are concerned well I don't want to take all that burden and responsibility on and I said well you already have the burden and responsibility anyway you might as well take it on more from a spiritual standpoint that it's much easier dealing with things spiritually than it is mentally and emotionally and all the other ways that we often deal with it but there are many people who have illusions of many people many people have illusions but when you see a spiritual teacher it's very hard because many people want that teacher to completely change them they put up their problems on them and they expect that teacher to be perfect and it's very hard for them to see that teacher as a person who is reflecting God and not as something that is going to be the one that is not on a pedestal so it's got to be an interesting balancing act to try to constantly be yourself and not have to answer to what their illusion is of a teacher well absolutely I'm sure I have lots of opportunity to disillusion people personally in the way that they experience my expression that well if you're spiritual then why are you doing that or acting that way or you look like that and all those things and I find that well if that's the place you're looking then you're bound to be disillusioned it's something we refer to as a transcending quality and we practice something we refer to as soul transcendence which has to do with getting beyond the material aspects of who we are and all of that which is there's nothing wrong with it it's part of the ordinariness of something I remember hearing from John Roger right in the beginning that was very impactful to me was that the condition of ordinariness was next to God that if we tried to make ourselves special or exempt then we were far far away but if we experienced our ordinariness our humanness then we were really getting close to the experience of who God is and at the same time the soul is such a special experience in itself that I'm sure as you got touched great understatement but yes go on well when you first really felt your soul contact with you and that you you kind of got it it was how what was that when you were with MSIA or before MSIA well it depends on how you look at MSIA and we do look at MSIA is not an organization first it's an organization as a vehicle but the movement of spiritual inner awareness is a breathing movement a consciousness movement so we are boom movement so then it begins with the first breath it begins with the first heartbeat the first moment so what are the origins the way we look at it well the origin is God and that's an eternal origin it's not something that you can find an end point somewhere and that's that's really how it begins but what I look at is that we all have a heritage to wake up to our soul that really is our heritage and when you look at it transcending lifetimes now some people get stuck there and they say well no this is the only life there is that's it and I don't see it that way I do see that who we are is a life consciousness that transcends our body so it comes into the body and it leaves the body at some point and the body is more like a vehicle to have a journey and to have an experience at some point I am quite certain everybody has a moment with their soul and their spirit where they are in direct contact consciously with it so they get to know it and that and I would say that to a murderer I would say that to the most terrible person you could bring to me and I say well that person is still a consciousness of God they may not know it in a real direct way and that is evidenced by their expression that they do things that don't demonstrate this contact and they demonstrate a separation or forgetfulness but nonetheless you know the practice we have is we're all forgiven and we can all have a convergence like st.

Paul did on the way to Damascus can be very sudden or it could be like Scrooge to me that's a story of a spiritual conversion you know what happened on Christmas Eve night so when the soul gets touched by the Holy Spirit then that expression of light of the soul is that change is that change the soul when the spirit can come through it can it can it reach the Holy Spirit and can it commune with that well I look at the soul as a perfect consciousness of God consciousness in an individualized form so it's the part of God that comes to us that's personal that's our part of God and yet it as you open to it you have an experience of being God and many have told us of it from long ago that when we awaken to who we are we experience our oneness with all the creation and we transcend this world we start seeing things that are not of this world we understand that there's this balance this integration of the universe or the universes however you look at that and yet it comes down to very simple things you know that it's in this moment too it's in this world but I would look at this world as something that's brief it's that's isolated in a way it's not the total experience of who we are is it is it difficult changing walking shoes between levels no I it actually takes care of itself if we if we bring fear if we bring doubt to that experience then we have difficulty if we bring trust and acceptance to that experience then it's something that actually is easy in one way meaning it's done for us we don't really have to do anything so when we let go when we surrender to this divine experience we realize that we don't control it we just participate in it and it's an act of grace we understand that we didn't do it it's not like oh I finally did the formula and I did the open sesame and the door opened and so I did it I climbed the mountain no that's an ego process it happens by some act of grace I I don't have a direct formula other than the best one I know is to be loving as completely as you possibly can as constantly as you possibly can it if a person wants the formula that's the best one I know and to to be true to who you are is very sacred and I think when we in some way deny our truth or try to replace it with somebody else's truth or something that it really isn't our true experience that's when we get in trouble and we get lost there's a wonderful part of this book and the blessings already are where you talk about one time going out and actually hearing almost like an interval in a voice saying expanding your love and I with the exact quote was the loving I am able to love more or I'm expanding my loving and as you went through the process you found that you were expanding your loving more and you were expanding your loving more and you expect and I after read that I took a walk around the block and just tried that experience of actually just walking around about a mile you know of letting with each breath feeling more loving coming in feeling more and it's an amazing experience because a lot of us shut it off at one point with the thought or something else or distraction or thinking we can't something happens but to really allow yourself to constantly allow the love to work its process without a block is is quite an interesting way of just like wow there's absolutely great and if we don't do that consciously then the tendency is to get contracted and to get petty and we find it in areas like worry and anger and irritation that's when the world is challenging challenging us to open up once again and be loving no matter what no matter what we think and that asks us to take courage asks us to at times sacrifice our own personal will I love the story of Jesus on the Mount of Gethsemane when he was praying and he was asking hey can you take this bitter cup I think this is someone's looking upon their destiny and realizing I'm about to go through something quite terrible and painful and difficult if there's a way that I can not have that if there's some way that by grace I don't have to go through this please but if this is the way then I will do it your will not mine and I really think that's a wonderful example about how we have to live our life if we want to stay open to the spiritual experience and it's kind of an interesting one because this once you get on the spiritual path I call them divine rationalization sometimes you can rationalize things off this thing well you know that's meant to be earth but there is something inside you that kind of knows that rings true to really God's will versus your own there's some life has a way of kind of showing you the path doesn't it once you ask for that well it becomes very impersonal so that it's not about your name it's not about who recognizes you and who honors you do they bow at your feet do they give you the right recognition or approval it's not about any of that so that if we ever get concerned about that type of thing like what's in it for me we're starting to lose track of who we are and that who we are is more nameless and formless in the way that it functions at the highest level there's a wonderful series when I was back and in Easter time I picked up living with grace tapes and they're wonderful wonderful tapes I've been listening to them and just this morning I was listening to one it's and and JR was saying everything is a manifestation of spirit everything is a manifestation of spirit so if you look at it that way everything whether you like it or not like it around you you can say I like it I love it that's great some expectation of spirit but the stuff you may be handed in your cup you go I don't know if I like this so much but that's that's you can't have it both either way it's all spirit right and there's a great learning opportunity every time where we want to deny the loving towards well I couldn't love that how could anybody love that well that's the next thing you really need to love that doesn't mean you have to be involved in it in a real direct way but if you're at a great distance from it and that thing torments you that's telling you you need to learn how to love whatever that thing is it's tormenting you that you feel is punishing you or robbing you of your life there's nothing truly like that when we know ourselves spiritually everything becomes a blessing and and that's a great experience that's a blessing to know everything's a blessing that is a wonderful blessing it really is when you think of how your life is directed by God's will and yet you have a very intensive schedule how do you do the balancing with your schedule and your everyday moment still try to maintain that state of grace and peace with doing a lot in a busy day you know how do you try to live it I do the best I can to get with God and and I mean that in a very personal way that's an inner experience and we teach something called spiritual exercise as a discipline and a process to get with God but even our teaching on our technique what I would tell you is don't worry about that just get with God however it works for you find a way to to worship to pray so that you're in Holy Communion and if someone's listening and saying well I don't know what Holy Communion is I don't think I've ever had that and besides I'm not worthy because of all these things that have happened to me and I did and no that's not true that's a lie you are worthy you were born worthy it can't be taken from you so get with that worship take a moment people often want to complicate it like well you know I don't have time and and and you know my kids are always needing me and and there's all these things going on that their pressures how could anybody have time for worship and I can't get to the local church or synagogue or temple or whatever that is and and it's like look it's right where you are you are the temple so take the moment and I encourage people to do it at the very beginning of the day however you would define that for yourself that's the moment to commune with God and then take another moment at the end of the day and if you can work it out take it all day long and if you can't work that out then take a moment I I used to have a job where I it was a lot of pressure for me when I was around 21 or 22 and I used to go in a bathroom stall you know at work that was my retreat you know I figured well no one's gonna hound me or hassling they may figure I got something wrong with my intestines or something but I would go in there and just have a private moment just that was a way of worshipping so in a bathroom stall to me it was as good as being in a great Cathedral well I it's so wonderful on the island to have the Aloha word and if everyone really were to live with Aloha every moment you know that's the same as living with God to me and having that love for the Aloha and really trying to put it into practice by doing it just taking the moment right now I call them Aloha breaks just like you were having a break I think instead of a coffee break or smoking breaker you can just have an Aloha break and at that time it's okay to hug people and feel good and send that or let someone turn left in front of you or do whatever you let do just to feel really good and feel full of Aloha you know then then it just really makes life a lot more fun it feels really good I have a little story the other day I was at a restaurant business meeting with some bankers and you know financial advisors it's one of those kinds of meetings and I came out of the restaurant and there was valet parking and the gentleman next to me said well why don't you take his car first to the valet guy and a woman in front of us said what did you say she turned around and he said well I was just saying that he could take his car first well I've been here waiting and you know why would you just push in and put in like that why didn't you have some it's just really lit into us and I just watch because there was the part that wants to react and difficult that's the time where you really if you can just breathe or do whatever it takes breathing is a very magical thing to get conscious with God to take a deep breath and just doing that and I tell people we'll do it ten times and and then if you still want to react do it ten more times you know I think we all know enough by now from our experience that reacting we pay a price and if we can somehow neutralize ourself walk away breathe say I'm not here to fight you win whatever we need to do and life will present as many opportunities to practice sometimes many many opportunities to interpret that as some form of weakness like being spiritual is weak no no no it takes incredible strength incredible awareness to stay in the spiritual way and not drop and get reactive and negative well it's wonderful wonderful speaking with you the blessings already are is available here and also through MSI in the tapes Org and you'll get there right away it's a way of connecting and getting some spiritual input and feeling the grace and the loving we're talking about this book is a way of feeling the loving you just read this book and you'll feel the you'll feel the love it's wonderful to be able to pick up certainly put my love in and it's there we're gonna we're gonna talk with JR who's hasn't said one word for the last half hour here almost it's about it hasn't piped in at all these other word to say it's so good to see you too JR I wanted to ask you you were a teacher right before you started him say weren't you a legal high school teacher so yeah you were way back way back when you were a teacher back from 16 to 71 and with that I was kind of let me just bring that Michael go there what was the key turning point because it's amazing now you are a teacher now as well and you're a wonderful teacher also it's just that you're teaching many more people about a lot more than you were when you were teaching school for sure and is it it's gonna be interesting because the element of the teacher they are expanded and I kind of was curious as to what took you to this amazing new level of being a spiritual teacher a teacher of God's way from being a school teacher near-death experience and being brought from that back into physical reality at that point there was an exchange of spirit and I guess I'd be what you call a walk-in except I think I just dropped in because I didn't wasn't planning on staying long at all and that just seemed to be the keynote for many things to take place all in a very short period of time of a horrendous nature not nice so I won't discuss them and people noting and comparing and stating and saying do you know that this all happened while this all happened any connection at the time it was like who are we talking about I had nothing to do with anything to do with anything and years later in the deposition I got a hold of hospital records and said I'd died on our operating table in 63 and that I apparently did not die because I had a near-death experience I mean it was I thought it was amazing the way my doctors who I love and respect I don't have them anymore because they lie and you can't trust a liar from that point on you'll never know the truth and I don't care to live in that I care to live in truth so I live mostly in my experiences and invalidating the experiences of others when they tell me things I can see and go back to when it happened and I can describe it for them as well as they can but sometimes much better because they may be unconscious and not remember anything and I fill it in and they go oh my god I just cleared up a problem for me and it happened while they were unconscious they really got hurt so that's sort of like the thumbnail sketch or the hangnail sketch of the JR up to today well it's it's an amazing journey and a lot has happened along the way including was it's like 30 books I mean you have 10 of books how do you help well Jean Houston says I had 4,

000 now I don't know whether to say she's wrong or what but I would I wouldn't hesitate to say there's 40 50 I'd go yeah somewhere maybe more if we look at things like discourses which come out every month and they're consistent for 12 years somebody counted those as a book because he says come you do a complete subject on that then we gotta add 144 more plus pamphlets about subjects in the other things it'll be getting up there not that I'm that proud of that because some of it I'm gonna take and rewrite just because it should be taken and rewritten your creation is pretty amazing when you think of not just the books but the people and the people through the years I mean just around me here I friend Elaine's 25 years I think about 20 years people who have been with you years and years and years and years and years a long time who are really part of your family some of them you don't get a chance to see but they still have this amazing connection to the teachings and they it's more than that because it's not a written piece of paper it is the wisdom of the heart the spirit of the mind and soul and they tap in up above there they get to come back down and go like that and another page they don't read it sometimes I'll do it when I'm working on my computer I'll just zip down people watch me you'll see did you read it that fast I said yeah they want to know this this this this this this and the answer is I'm not participating send it back they go wow how do you do that I said very well thank you and keep humor as much as possible because it seems to me that a lot of people think that spirituality is seriousness and it is not it is sincerity it is that when you sell somebody you love them that's your heart and your mind at that time we're in sync and union and you say that from that place of integrity they know that's not a love affair coming on they know that you're in a higher frame of reference seeing something far more beautiful yeah you may want to take them home with you there's no question about that but then that happens anyway look there's six billion people and then and they're not all of the movement of spiritual and awareness the way we know it and you guys know it just even through you may be studying some other type of approach into this it's still the same to me I wouldn't have no arguments I would just I would ask you does it have loving caring sharing health wealth happiness prosperity abundance riches if it is you got it made right here just that fast you got it made now your job in case you don't want to lose this is to go show and help others not necessarily setting up a porch box or a big pedestal people say that I that I'm upon a pedestal and I said well if my students studying with me don't put me on a pedestal I don't worry because I bring my own and I put it up anyway the humor the iron is like you did yeah you know what difference doesn't make and what I think one thing that when John was talking about his book one night in a store in I if I'm wrong you correct me because I don't want to misrepresent yeah I'll lie about you but I won't we were in a book signing big book signing stores like Barnes & Noble's or Borders and we're in the LA area that's about all I I get driven to and from places and the lady stood up he asked for any questions at the end of this relatively short lecture is about 20 minutes and he asked her something she said well I have this situation and John had just talked about the blessings are you know let's see how you get through the person started crying and feeling dastardly about the stashed with me thing that when I heard I just said well she got an experience that she wasn't really lined up for and I was having difficulty and John started talking to her about her difficulty about the thing that went on and then about 10-15 minutes give or take a liar to he had this lady out of the depressions and the dastardly doldrums of life and the lady was back into herself full of joy and laughter and upliftment and I just turned around and looked at John he was looking around I said the blessings already are it just once again proved to the technical approach that he uses and one thing we do is we're great listeners we find one of the biggest problem people have in the world is the feeling of not being heard and we hear them and we deal with them and if you want a good laugh come to a seminar it's it gets funny people say things they say oh I was never gonna say that when that spirit comes to you it's a cleanser and it's a truth teller and I've said things I saw my god I would have never said that in a thousand years and I've told you say anybody want to leave get up believe nobody moves I said well if it was funny laugh and they all just start laughing and you know what happens in the church or seminar when you're supposed to be being in the sacred place and you just can't shut up the laughing well we do that if you start going you hear what is the crying blowing those and pretty soon some more and it just starts to hitting around the place was roaring with laughter and I am too and I don't know why but it's just one of those things that is definite sign of the Holy Spirit being present is that joy that transcends the heart truly transcends it and you say how do you do that how to explain I say me I'm totally incapable of explaining it it's far too big for any vocabulary that I carry with me so how's that for an answer that's great you call it a little over time no no no you got lots of time so you got nice you call in the light when we we talk about light a lot and and you call in the light at the beginning of gatherings and when you go through the process of calling in light where are you calling it in from when you go to that point where you call in the light when you try to bring in light especially for a large gathering can you explain the process of calling sure sure it's like four score and seven years ago first you have a idea of what it is and have an idea of why you're there and you have an idea of what these people are there for and there's no need to pray for something like buses in the room when that'd be inappropriate if you got them anyway and so I'd like to call the light right here for you let's do that bring this down a little so you can do it free breath going through your mouth I'm good at that I learned that years of training okay so we're just generally most people when you say well we're gonna call us forward into the light close their eyes some don't it's to me it doesn't matter because I'm not doing it but I do it I close my eyes to block out any distractions so though if I see something it's there I may not see everything there but if I see it it's there and I know the history of it so we'll call us forward into the light father mother God we ask now to be placed in your consciousness of love and light and the sound we ask that all of those who are listening to this radio program receive have understanding of your willingness to work with them in the spirit heart and God's Kingdom we ask that if there's anything inside of us each one of us that has negative application negative effect that that be surface to us that we see the lesson that we learn from this lesson and if we're to work it out and we ask father for attention to the tools that will help us work it out we ask that the energy worked out be sent into a higher place of light and love that it also may learn of your glory of your spirit and we ask that you place this light that we are talking about now and that is the Holy Spirit that it be sent to everyone on the planet let no one father be missed that they receive the touch of this Holy Spirit of their soul and into your kingdom of heaven and we do this blessing everyone in the room in the father's name amen that's beautiful thank you very much that would be one of 10,

000 and there's this light around I have to say there is this light here presence you ever notice the light that when you call you actually is a change in the light structure every in the room will see that comes in this blue haze and they'll see it come across the room they'll say you people seeing that coming across you they go yeah yeah I see I feel it and some will feel like they're freezing others feel like they're warm others sit there say well you know I thought I'd fill up my hands I had my hands open and I didn't listen how about your feet they go oh they just started tickling and tingling I've had this problem with my feet well we don't say so because that's not legal but we understand that undoubtedly they receive some kind of healing or attention from the spirit and that we just bless them we will track them will track them to see how they're doing if they go to a hospital we track them we have the heart reach foundation that run by volunteers we take projects on like adopt a highway we haven't done that we've been too busy helping physical people's bodies you have wonderful tapes as well videotapes and audio tapes and we are I know I Bob Stone was telling me that we're going to be starting to have the videotapes available here in Hawaii so people be able to see I think in a couple weeks on Maui we will be having some of the tapes available for people to see on a cockoo which is here on channel 44 so in June sometime in June we'll let people know they will be able to see some of the seminars and find out a little bit more of what you're talking about you know this may sound strange to you and and conceited but I watch my own videotapes because I learned so much from them it's not conceded at all I didn't read my own material and I say that wasn't there when I first read that that's there I need I know that I need this right now and everything stops to handle that and it handles my problem I go wow thank God I am part of this I don't know what this is but this is something I am thankful for that grace that you we were talking about earlier the grace and and and again the tapes that living with grace beautiful tapes that talk about forgiveness and the forgiveness factor you have a beautiful book I call relationships love marriage and spirit of course forgiveness is the key to grace forgiveness is the key to relationship forgiveness is a key to many things right with the choosing master key mm-hmm you got a first forgive yourself then automatically the one you're judging is forgiven and and the biggest thing is then to be able to go up to them to acknowledge to them we say namaste other say something similar to recognize it's the same with the same the love and the Christ and me recognizes the love of Christ and you when I've done this with people inevitably they have come up to me put their arms around me and we've hugged each other and the heart that was broken that couldn't be healed is healed now do I do any of that no I am just stand there put my arms human being to human being but that spirit of God is connected bypass all of us and goes right to that person and I've had him just fall just pass out fall lay on the floor I don't think that's anything like oh my god let's fill up the local stadium with people who are sick you know do maybe one of these miracle sessions which I think there's a lot of degree of questions involved in that but I don't agree at all that those questions should have negativity around them as much as it should have more direction in them like these people got healed or where how if I am to get healed the same way what is that well Christ was known as a healer in his time I think a part of this has been forgotten that Christ was known as a healer that was how he was really known he was a healer and that was the power of a lot of how his word was spread was originally as a healer I have a theory on that the reason why we see him more as a rabbi rather than healers because he was too busy touching and dealing with people rather than to stand in a lecture to him and he only had a few occasions which he was able to lecture about the subject of what he's doing and the parables you're to gain to your own inner inspections the wisdom that you are the living temple of God and you go into there and then he said come to me that's the kingdom of heaven and you think about you and you say then if God made all things and he said it he made it good and Jesus said this that I do you two shall do and even greater then either they're liars and forget that or they're on target and let's hit that target let's hit the target to see does that open a doorway is there an open says me there that I missed I wanna I want a shot at it have you found you kind of are like a door opener for many things I mean have you it's like is it door after door for you no illumination nothing it's it's a form more of illumination rather than being enlightened enlightened you can be really great at this radio in this book and still not be in the lumen state and my my thing is why did you expect different that's just way life is and we can love each other and maybe not a lot maybe we love each other but also feel sad about somebody else's hurt we start producing the simple the loving of God we're going up the other way of enlightenment so there's more than one way into this and so when people ask me what should I do I go try and find out see if it works if it works there's a lot of things you can be led to believe but I'm led to believe I can turn this page this is really the only way I'm going to find out if it works I don't have to believe it anymore I know and that knowing is the door opener mm-hmm that knowing is a door opener because then you're there you're there you know that mm-hmm a lot of people say who do you believe in I said I believe in that that is true that God has created and they'll say why why do you believe what's God's great yeah well because he looked at it after six days rested took look around he said God looked at everything he had created and he said it is good well he said it that part of the Bible can't just be for those seven days or why are we paying attention to it right now because people are taking it from a long time ago and applying it right now and if you want to know what the Bible is not the Christian body the Christ body is not a religion it is the air the oxygen the loving the spirit and we go that way and the feathers want to go read the Bible and try to beat that against you they're just mature and if you don't want to be around them while they do that you walk away you don't tell people don't talk to me that way because you can't abridge their freedom let's say just say I'll catch you later well this hour has been wonderful it's gone very quickly it's really wonderful to have you here I know you're just taking a breather from the trip to Japan let me give you a plug my new book is coming true and I know you love children and so this is a great book loving each day for moms and dads what a great way for mothers and fathers to have something inspiring to keep them on track if they need a little inspiration it looks like we're doing a chicken soup of the soul approach I know Jack and we did loving each day loving for mom and dad and we've landed love for the single mother as a single parent depending upon how big we want it to be just a whole series of chicken soups for the souls well I know borders has your books there's also relationships love marriage and spirit loving each day for moms and dads the blessings already are are there but also people can go to msia.
