Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're all comfortable in your bed.

You can do this by starting with whittling out all of the energy that's left over from your day.

So start by taking your hands out of the covers,

Putting them up in the air as if you're reaching up to the sky,

And then shake your hands and your arms.

Shake them as fast as you can.

Shake them,

Make it look like you're waving at a bunch of people.

Shake shake shake shake shake shake.

Shake out all the energy in your arms and then let your arms fall to the bed.

Let them be still.

Feel all the tingles inside of your arms from all of that shaking.

And now,

If you can,

Imagine that you're squeezing all the muscles tight in your legs and you're scrunching up your toes and your feet.

Tense up your muscles in your legs,

Scrunch up your toes and your feet.

Tense tense tense tense.

Hold it hold it hold it.

And then relax all the muscles in your legs and let your feet completely relax.

Gently move your head from side to side as if you're saying a big exaggerated no.

So your head goes left and right and left and right and left and right.

Imagine that you're shaking out all the wiggles that could be in the top of your body and your head.

Left,

Right,

Left,

Right,

Left,

Right.

And then stop.

Make sure that your head is nice and still on the pillow.

Close down your eyes and let go of the world around you.

I'd like you to imagine that you're floating on a magic carpet.

So with your arms down by your sides and your legs slightly parted so that your feet can just fall to the sides and relax.

You're laying there like a starfish.

But instead of laying there on your bed,

Use your imagination and imagine that you're laying on a magical carpet and the carpet is moving slightly and rippling as it flies through the sky.

From your perspective all you can see is the sky above because you're laid down in a big giant starfish shape,

Relaxing,

Enjoying,

Flying through the sky.

Your body feels super,

Super supported by the carpet.

You know that you're safe and you're not going to fall off.

This magical carpet is one of your best friends and it knows all the time exactly where you want to go in your imagination and in your dreams when you fall to sleep.

It's called a magical carpet because it's magical.

So know that you're very,

Very safe on this magical carpet ride because the carpet's your best friend and it wouldn't let anything bad happen to you ever.

It only takes you to places that it knows you would like to go.

As you watch the clouds floating by,

Big white,

Bulbous,

Fat,

Beautiful clouds in the sky.

As you watch them floating by,

Feeling the carpet pull you in a direction somewhere that you're not quite sure where you're going yet.

You think to yourself about how lucky you are,

How lucky that you have this magical carpet that's going to take you to a really,

Really cool place.

The magical carpet dips a little bit and you feel your tummy turn over.

You know the same way as when it feels like you're dreaming and maybe you're falling in your dream and your tummy feels all upside down.

Just for a second,

The dip of the carpet made you feel as if your tummy was going to turn over.

As you sit up on the magical carpet and look around,

Curious to see where it's taking you.

All you see down below is green,

Green fields,

Trees.

Occasionally the carpet flies over what looks like towns or maybe little villages down below.

So you can see houses and cars and life,

Lots of life down below.

The carpet flies over that town and you find yourself flying over fields once again.

Large areas of land where you don't see anything but green down below,

Sometimes just brown.

Then further in the distance there you see what looks like another city or town or village coming into view.

The carpet starts to descend a little bit,

Getting a little bit lower so that the trees look more clear.

It definitely looks like your magical carpet is heading for this town.

The carpet flies quite close to the buildings,

Zipping in and out and around.

You wonder if the people down below look up,

Whether they'll see you or not.

But the magical carpet that you're riding on is magical,

Remember?

So no one sees you,

You're invisible to the rest of the world.

And that makes it even more magical.

The carpet slows down and gets quite low to the ground,

Flying through people walking on the sidewalk.

It slows down enough so that every shop and storefront it flies past.

You can take your time to see what's inside of the windows.

It flies by a bakery and you see all the buns and cakes and deliciousness in the window.

It flies by a shoe shop.

It flies by a post office.

It flies by what looks like a giant cinema.

It keeps flying and flying and flying and no one notices.

You're so close to them you could touch them.

You fly by one old man and you could grab a hold of his hat and just knock it off his head if you wanted to.

He would never know.

But you don't,

Of course.

You keep flying until you get to the far side of the town and there you see a sign that says Putt-Putt Golf and you smile.

You smile really big because you know that your magical carpet knew that you wanted to play a game of crazy golf.

It's so much fun.

Your carpet comes to a complete stop right there in front of the door as if to say we're here,

You can get off now.

Your carpet rolls itself up once you step off the carpet and leans against the front door to the Putt-Putt place,

Invisible,

Waiting for you to come back out later and hitch a ride home.

You go in and buy a ticket,

Putt-Putt Golf for one please.

The lady behind the counter hands you a golf club and she hands you a bucket with balls in it.

You walk through some doors and go outside and see that there's 20 different spots,

20 different places that you have to get the hole into before you can move on to the next one.

The whole place is like a circus theme,

There's a lion with it's mouth wide open that you have to hit the ball into,

There's elephants,

There's trapezists swinging from one rope to another.

You take your time and enjoy yourself playing Putt-Putt Golf.

The place is completely empty,

Everyone else must be in school or something because there's absolutely no one here.

It's as if the whole place is made just for you.

Some of the holes are quite challenging and it takes you a lot of tries to get the ball into the hole but you don't mind,

That's the fun of it.

It's fun playing Putt-Putt Golf.

You must be there for at least an hour and a half before you're finally at the last one.

At the last one you just think,

Oh I'm just going to go for it,

You swing your golf club and just bash the ball as hard as you can and you happen to hit it.

You hit the right spot,

A hole in one,

You start jumping around,

You're so happy with yourself,

The one that you really didn't even try on,

You got.

And then you hand in your balls and the golf club and you go outside and as soon as your magical carpet spots you,

It flicks itself open and you climb aboard.

And you take up and off into the sky.

This time,

On the way home,

Your magical carpet flies through the sky as if you're on a roller coaster ride.

It motions to you to hold on tight,

Like I said before you're always safe so don't worry.

He goes up and down and around and then at one point he starts to go up,

Up,

Up,

Up,

Up really slow as if he's climbing up to the top of that peak point on a roller coaster where you're sat there going,

Oh my gosh,

Why did I get on this thing?

And then just like that,

He zooms all the way down almost to hit the field down below as fast as he could possibly go.

And this really does make your tummy fly upside down,

But it's a lot of fun.

The wind blows through your hair and you've got your mouth open screaming so you slather all over yourself because it's so windy and so fast and that's very funny.

And then the rest of the ride home,

He just flies normally through the sky and you lay back down in your giant starfish shape and stare up at the clouds,

Again feeling so grateful that you have this magical carpet that takes you places whenever you're trying to fall to sleep.

All you have to do is close your eyes,

Lay like a starfish and imagine that you're on the magical carpet and there you go.

It happens just like that.

And your magical carpet will take you wherever you need to go.

The end.
