Namaste my brothers and sisters.
I am your brother Simply Cosmic here in the Insight Timer universe reminding you to stay on track,
To stay committed to your practice and discipline.
Only the sky is forecasted in Houston,
Texas at the Truklem Meditation Center.
Today I want to bring with you some insight on staying focused on the practice.
To keep going,
To keep being inspired,
To keep doing the work of meditation,
Of staying in a high consciousness,
Of exploring who you really are.
So recently yesterday was the new moon setting new intentions.
Some of my brothers and sisters have been experiencing a lot of energy and third eye opening,
Whatever that means to you.
As Cosmic is being around brothers and sisters recently,
We're seeing more brothers and sisters commit to walking the spiritual path of self-love,
Of moving towards awakening,
Enlightenment.
And when we have community like Insight Timer,
Like our Sankha or our spiritual community,
It helps us to stay in the high consciousness and humbles us at the same time.
So if you are a new practitioner in exploring the spiritual realm,
The metaphysical realm,
The chakra system,
The being spiritual,
Vision and idea,
Keep doing the work.
Take your life seriously.
Take happiness seriously.
Yes,
It contradicts itself that when we take happiness seriously,
We're commit to that.
We're not saying we're so serious,
But we're focused on expanding our life and making our life and choosing for our life to become more fulfilled,
More vibrant.
Because in the beginning,
We get into our egos because we lack this thing called inspiration,
Commitment and focus.
Because when we first starting off,
We're not sure what we're really practicing,
How much should we be meditating.
And I'm here to remind you,
Keep going.
Follow your heart.
Just follow what feels right.
If you say 10 minutes of meditation,
That's 10 minutes.
If your heart says 30 minutes,
You do it.
But when you say something,
Commit to it and take consistent action.
Maybe you decided to be more consistent with working out.
You must commit to doing your best to follow your word so that you experience this thing called fulfillment.
When you have an idea,
You take action and then you find results.
But even if you have an idea,
If you have an inspired thought,
But no inspired action,
Then you will not arrive at this thing called fulfillment.
You arrive at disappointment.
When you know that meditation is good,
You find applications like Insight Timer and others similar,
To keep us connecting with what's inside,
To keep us connecting with other like-minded practitioners,
Whether it's online,
Whether it's in person,
And especially with ourselves.
This thing called the spiritual path requires us to commit our whole life to it because the spiritual path is really the love inside our heart.
And sometimes we don't take our heart as serious because we're still attached to our ego.
We don't trust ourselves yet.
It's good to make a plan,
But make the plan from love.
Make the plan from the vision of fulfillment and the feeling of love and the feeling of inspiration and enlightenment.
To stay focused,
We must let go of the things that get in our way and distract us.
Too much connecting with sexual energy that drains us and disconnects us.
Too much video games,
Too much TV,
Too much hanging out.
And then when we hang out too much,
We disconnect with our beginner's mind.
The beginner's mind is a mind,
This is what Master Thich Nhat Hanh says.
The beginner's mind is this fresh mind that's excited to learn.
That it's like when you first awaken,
When you first became spiritual,
You're hungry for knowledge,
You are willing to do whatever it takes to expand,
But after a while,
You get too comfortable.
And the beginner's mind begins to recede.
And that's why we're having this talk today.
Keep your beginner's mind alive by not getting in the routine of meditation too much.
If you're meditating indoors a lot,
Try going outdoor meditation.
If you're doing the work indoor too much,
Try going outside.
If you're eating the same thing and it's not helping you expand,
You have to try the different angle to expand our heart,
Mind,
And chakra.
Maybe we've been working with a lot of adults,
Sometimes try working with younger children or teenagers.
Maybe we're so good at being musicians,
But we're not good at listening.
And maybe we're really good at listening.
Maybe it's time we step up and spoke from our heart.
But the number one thing,
To not be in the comfort zone.
Challenges is what helps us grow.
Embrace the challenges.
Don't get too comfortable.
Take the leap of faith.
Stay committed.
And if you don't have any committed person around,
Be the committed person for you first.
You naturally attract other committed practitioners,
Meditators,
Spiritual beings who are ready to love themselves,
Who are ready to expand with you,
Who have maybe mostly the same page where you can share and grow together rapidly.
But before that,
You have to let go of hanging out too much,
Spending too much time on social media,
Entertainment,
And learn to find what is your purpose.
Just because you've been on the journey for five to six,
10,
20 years,
Stay humble that at the end of the day,
We know nothing compared to the infinite nature of this cosmos,
Of the universe,
Of the infinite.
And this is what I have for you today.
And I hope that you find some inspiration to keep going in the beginning,
To stay with high vibrating brothers and sisters,
To keep doing the work and to stay committed to loving ourselves.
And I hope you have a wonderful,
Wonderful day.
Thank you.
