Welcome to a meditation for empowering the positive by surrendering negativity.
Begin in a position that is comfortable for you,
Either sitting or lying down,
Allowing the body to sink into the earth and be supported by the earth.
Close your eyes.
Be comfortable making any adjustments you wish.
Make sure you are in a position that will be comfortable for the duration of this practice.
Relax the shoulders,
The arms,
The hips,
The back,
The knees,
The ankles.
Allow the neck and jaw to soften.
If you feel any tension or tight spots in any part of the body,
Take the awareness to that body part and consciously relax that body part.
Always know that you are in a safe environment and sacred space.
Become aware of any external sounds you can hear in this moment.
Start by focusing on the most distant sounds,
Moving the attention from sound to sound without labeling the source and without judgment.
Simply allow these sounds to just be there.
Now visualize the body lying on the earth,
The parts of the body touching the earth,
The entire body being supported by the earth.
Now move the awareness from the external sounds to the sound of the breath as it flows freely and naturally between the nostrils.
Become aware of the natural breath,
The spontaneous breath that moves in and out of the body without effort.
Notice the feeling of the breath as it enters and leaves the body.
Feel the flow of the natural breath,
The normal,
Spontaneous,
And effortless flow.
With each inhale,
The body is becoming more and more relaxed.
The body is becoming loose,
Soft,
And calm.
Allow this feeling of relaxation to grow inch by inch throughout the body.
Inhale inspiration.
Exhale negativity.
Breathe in love for yourself.
Breathe out all obstacles to your path.
In your mind's eye,
You see before you a cauldron.
It can be as large or as small as you wish.
You stand before it inside a room with stone walls and flooring.
You are comfortable and completely safe here.
Beneath the cauldron,
A fire burns steadily from a pit.
You take a moment to observe the flames flickering and dancing.
After a few moments,
Your attention returns to the cauldron.
The cauldron is a symbol of transformation and change,
And you realize that in this moment.
The cauldron before you seeks to aid you in transforming that which you wish to see fulfilled into a beautiful reality.
But you realize that you must first release and surrender that which no longer serves you.
Ponder now any negativity that could be troubling you,
Weighing you down,
Holding you back.
Call these things to mind now,
But do not dwell on them,
For you are soon to let each of them go.
Within the cauldron is love and light.
It contains only positivity and the energies that support your highest good.
Call these things to mind now,
Allowing them to comfort you and form an alliance with you.
In your mind's eye,
See yourself now picking up a piece of wood from a nearby pile.
As you hold this piece of wood in your hands,
You hand over to it the negative energies you recalled moments ago.
Whatever you feel has been either harnessing you or causing you discomfort.
You say goodbye to each of those things as you walk the piece of wood over to the fire beneath the cauldron.
Before adding it to the fire,
You think or say aloud,
For my highest good,
And with harm to none.
I hereby release those things that no longer serve me.
Once again,
Your eyes return to the flame and notice it leap somewhat after you added the wood to it.
That which you released is no longer yours to carry.
What is more,
It is now fueling the positive energies you wish to bring to yourself.
Spend a few moments finding peace and rest in this visualization of that which serves your highest good.
Being amplified and taking flight as you stand peacefully inside this sacred and protected space.
Bring your awareness back to the breath.
The natural,
Quiet breath going in and out of the body.
Maintain awareness of the breath and feel it growing stronger and steadier.
Take a slow,
Conscious,
Deep breath in and release it slowly.
Allow the mind to become external now.
Shift the attention to sounds within this room.
The sound of the breath.
The sounds of the earth.
The sound of my voice.
Now move the attention to the sounds outside the room.
Sounds you can hear without straining.
Be aware of the sounds around you.
Be aware of the body.
Be aware of the breath.
Begin to invite subtle movements into the hands and feet.
The fingers and toes.
Perhaps you will choose to stretch lightly.
Do whatever feels natural and comfortable to you.
Take another deep breath and release it slowly.
The crow flies from me to thee.
To send the message.
Blessed Be.
