Welcome back.
My name is Laura,
And this is Cultivate Your Wellness.
This meditation is an invitation to return to yourself,
Especially when life feels busy,
Or fast,
Or just a little too much.
Together,
We'll take a few minutes to breathe,
To pause,
And to remember what steadiness feels like within.
You don't need anything big or dramatic to come back to center.
Just a breath,
And the willingness to be still for a moment.
Let's begin.
Finding a position that feels comfortable for you today,
And inviting your body to begin to settle.
Gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze.
Letting your shoulders and your jaw soften,
The area around your eyes and your belly,
And taking a deep breath in,
And letting it out.
Again,
Inhaling just a little deeper,
And exhaling slowly,
Settling into this moment just a little bit more.
Now,
Letting the breath return to its natural rhythm.
No effort,
Just flow.
Feeling the soft exchange of your breathing in and out,
Allowing it to be your quiet anchor,
A soft reminder that you're here right now.
And though the world may be rushing,
This moment is still,
Inviting yourself to rest here.
And as you continue to breathe,
Beginning to notice the feeling of your body supported beneath you,
Trusting that you don't have to do anything but be here.
Letting each inhale,
Soften what feels tense,
And letting each exhale,
Release what you don't need to carry right now.
And if your thoughts begin to scatter,
Like leaves in the wind,
Gently gather them back with your breath.
No judgment,
Just the return.
And maybe silently offering yourself this phrase,
I can be steady,
Even when life moves fast.
There is peace in the pause.
And letting those words settle quietly in your awareness,
Letting them guide you back anytime you need.
And before we bring this meditation to a close,
Taking a moment to seal the practice with a simple mantra,
Repeating quietly in your mind or softly aloud,
I can return to stillness.
I carry this calm with me.
With each inhale,
Letting the words rise gently.
With each exhale,
Letting them settle deeper within.
I can return to stillness.
I carry calm with me.
Letting these words become a quiet rhythm inside you,
A whisper of strength you can bring into your day.
I can return to stillness.
I carry calm with me.
And beginning now to bring your awareness back into the space around you.
Noticing the sounds and the sensations.
And gently moving your fingers and toes,
Moving your head from side to side.
As you take one final breath in and softly letting it out.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Carrying your calm with you.
Thank you for being here with me today.
Even just a few minutes of stillness can shift the course of your day.
Come back anytime you need to feel a little more steady,
A little more whole.
And have a beautiful rest of your day.
Bye for now.
