This meditation is an invitation to let go of the stories we tell ourselves.
It is a reminder that anytime you find yourself caught up in a false narrative or a negative loop,
You always have the breath,
The pillar of your existence.
Though it is gentle and subtle,
It holds a power that is mighty.
A power to relax the body,
To release the mind,
To bring you back to the here and now.
To the truth that you are good and that everything is going to be okay.
The past is gone.
The future is untold.
Hold on to the present.
Let the breath be your guide.
Let's begin.
Let's start by settling into a comfortable position,
Closing your eyes or relaxing your gaze and beginning to turn your attention inward.
Lengthening your spine,
Releasing the shoulders,
Opening the chest,
Creating space in the body and connecting with the breath.
Slowing it down,
Drawing it in deeper,
Inviting it to every corner of your body and letting it go completely.
Releasing any tension,
Any worries,
Cultivating your awareness in the present.
Your awareness in your body.
Your awareness of the breath.
Allowing it to flow freely.
This gentle strength.
Is there a story your mind wants to tell you today?
Perhaps something that weighs a little too heavy for comfort.
Set those thoughts aside in this moment.
Focus on the breath.
Feel what you know to be true.
That you are here and it is now.
You are not your thoughts.
You are not the stories the mind conjures up.
Let go of that journey for now.
Stay in the present.
Stay with the breath.
Stay with what is true.
Anytime you become aware that you have followed your wandering mind,
Just smile and come back to the present.
Back to the breath.
The breath is your superpower.
It guides you as you wake.
It carries you throughout your day.
It rocks you into rest and holds you while you sleep.
Connect with the one who watches the breath.
The observer within who is the true you.
Surrender deeper into the body.
Send the breath there.
Allowing it to carve out even more space.
Feeling yourself lighten as you take up more of this infinite universe that resides within you.
That resides within each of us.

Feeling your body in the room around you,
Bringing in gentle movements,
Opening the eyes when you feel ready,
