Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom.
My name is Daniel Roqueillo and as always I'm deeply,
Deeply,
Deeply grateful that you're choosing to tune in,
That you're choosing to participate in,
Forever allowing for greater and greater expressions of who and what you are to emerge in your own awakening.
Thank you so much.
Today's theme is the still small voice of intuition.
The still small voice of intuition.
And this has everything.
I'm laughing because I usually go with this has something to do with,
But for some reason a different kind of wording came out today.
And so this has everything to do with our eternally being guided and moved and led by spirit or by future selves,
By intentions,
By visions,
By our dreams,
By our goals,
By inspiration,
By us being compelled.
And this guidance comes in many ways and shapes and forms.
One of the ways through which we're being guided is what I call the still small voice.
I call it the still small voice,
Others call it intuition and there are probably others that have other names for it,
But I call it the still small voice.
And this still small voice,
Let's not be fooled by this term.
I call it the still small voice,
But it doesn't speak in the same way to everybody.
And to some it doesn't even speak.
This still small voice,
It may come as an image,
It may come as a sound,
A sensation,
A physical sensation,
A sort of kinesthetic sensation,
It may come as an inner knowing,
Or we just know,
We can explain how or why we know,
We just know,
It may come as a feeling.
But this,
However it comes,
It is our most trusted companion.
We are so wise to learn to discern this still small voice from the egoic voice.
The egoic voice is quite bombastic,
It's quite loud,
It's quite intense,
It's often fretful and fearful,
As it bespeaks of lack and separation and scarcity.
It often bespeaks of how we can protect ourselves or how we can fill the void inside by gathering onto ourselves stuff or accolades or diplomas or recognition or fame or money or whatever the case may be.
But this still small voice,
It knows nothing of lack,
It knows nothing of separation,
It knows nothing of scarcity,
It only knows of unity,
It only knows about expansion and progression,
It only knows about infinite possibilities.
Where the ego may serve as excuse after excuse after excuse as to why not to go for it or why not to venture into the unknown,
Why we need to keep ourselves safe and secure.
This still small voice,
It speaks about how,
How can we grow,
How can we expand,
How can we expand our service,
How can we expand our loving,
How can we become more compassionate,
How can we become more generous,
How can we allow for greater expression of ourselves to emerge.
The ego speaks about competition,
About how we need to fight,
How we need to struggle,
How we need to effort,
How we need to elbow our way to the top.
The still small voice speaks about cooperation,
Collaboration,
Oneness.
It speaks of selfless service,
True heartful generosity,
How we can give more,
Not seeking to get anything back,
But how we can give more simply because there's an urge within us to give and to share that which we have to give and share.
And this still small voice,
Although in the beginning it may be quite difficult to learn to discern it from the egoic voice,
This voice being fully tuned in to the mind of spirit,
This voice is a source of infinite wisdom and guidance and knowledge,
And this voice,
It will guide and lead and move us beautifully.
We're so wise to learn to listen to it,
And what I mean by that is that we're so wise to learn to recognize it,
We're so wise to learn to discern it and the way it speaks to us,
Because it doesn't speak to us in the same way.
For me it took quite some time for me to realize that my intuition or my still small voice speaks to me as an inner knowing.
I just know.
I just know when to move,
I know when to speed up,
I know when to turn left,
I know when to turn right,
I know when to venture into another expansion,
I know when to stop,
And I cannot explain how I know,
I just know.
I just know.
But that knowing,
Or actually recognizing that knowing,
Took me quite some time,
Because I was told that intuition is about seeing visions.
I was told and I was taught to see with your mind,
But I don't see very much,
And others don't hear very much.
So each of us needs to learn to discern how this still small voice speaks to us,
And a beautiful way to begin to learn to discern is to ask questions.
Whenever we're faced with everyday choices that it doesn't really matter which we choose,
We can begin to stop and ask which choice am I to make in this moment?
Let's say that you're about to leave home in your car and you're about to go to the grocery store or wherever,
And from your house there's there are different ways for you to get to the store.
And so a good way to begin to tune into this still small voice is before you leave the driveway,
You turn within,
You become still,
You turn within,
And you ask which way am I to go today?
And then listen.
And by listening I'm saying pay attention.
Pay attention to any inclination,
Any feeling,
Any sound,
Any sight,
Any knowing,
Any sensation in your body telling you to go this way or that way.
So just tune in,
Pay attention,
And whenever we catch that guidance,
And this is true for all of us regardless of how in tune we are with this still small voice,
Whenever we catch guidance we are so so wise to listen and obey,
And oftentimes this guidance may not be what seems realistic,
It may not be what seems logical,
But oftentimes and I speak from personal experience this still small voice,
This guidance is quite the opposite.
There have been many times when I've caught myself questioning the validity or the realism or if it's even sane for me to follow this guidance.
But I can tell you also from personal experience that whenever I have followed my guidance,
This still small voice,
I have yet to make a wrong turn.
It doesn't always turn out or actually it rarely turns out the way I thought it's gonna turn out or the way I think it's gonna turn out,
But every time it supersedes anything that I could have imagined when making that choice or following that guidance.
So we're wise to tune in or wise to cultivate this inner hearing,
This inner listening,
This tuning within,
This turning within and paying attention.
We're wise to do it.
So that's my invitation to you,
To tune in to that still small voice as often as you can,
Giving it permission to guide and lead and move you in ever expanding ways,
Ever greater ways.
So until the next time,
Thank you so so much for tuning in,
For listening.
Until the next time,
I bless,
Bless,
Bless your day and I bless,
Bless,
Bless your way.
Namaste.
