Today we'll be breathing intention and life into our bodies.

You can be seated,

Standing,

Or lying down for this experience.

When you're ready,

Go ahead and just begin deep breaths,

Nothing too difficult or strained,

But slow and long.

In through your nose,

Out through your nose,

Or in through your nose,

With a gentle exhale through the mouth.

We'll start with a modified and shortened body scan.

We are drawing our attention inward,

Starting with our head,

The front,

The back,

The circumference,

Down the back of our neck and our face,

Over our shoulders,

Down our arms,

Down the trunk of our body,

Through our hips,

Down our legs,

All the way to our feet.

Feel free to run through it again,

Or linger where appropriate,

Almost drawing this internal eye,

Your attention towards each of these areas in your body.

If anything is more noticeable,

Any spot feels more noticeable than the others,

Go ahead and allow your internal gaze to rest there.

And as you're continuing to breathe calmly,

Deeply,

Direct that breath towards that area.

Now as you're breathing there,

Go ahead and see if there's a color that feels appropriate as a response to this area,

Or as something that it might want or need.

You don't need to overthink it,

If you just think,

Or see this this shade of blue come to mind,

Great.

If you think,

I could use healing here,

And light pink feels healing,

Or I could use reinvigoration,

And some form of yellow feels appropriate.

Imagine those colors.

And as you inhale,

Draw that breath to this area in your body.

Imagine that you're drawing in concentrated color of whatever shade that you've decided.

As you exhale,

Imagine that color diffusing,

Spreading from that area.

Inhale again,

Drawing in the color.

Exhaling,

Allowing it to diffuse.

Inhale,

Color.

Exhale,

Diffuse.

This can be a very slow process.

You're diffusing being very slight,

And slow,

And gentle.

Maybe you're imagining it more broad sweeping,

Like watercolor,

But you've added a bunch of water,

Too.

If there's any secondary locations in your body,

Where you feel similarly,

It would benefit from your love,

Your attention,

From healing,

Reinvigoration,

Softness,

Freedom.

Focus on that area.

Breathe in there.

And again,

Find a color,

Allow a color that feels appropriate.

Inhale,

Flood that space.

Exhale,

Allow it to diffuse.

And for a few minutes,

Continuing with one,

Both,

Or other multiples of areas in your body,

Where you feel would benefit from your breath,

And from an intention,

Some brightness,

Or softness.

Go ahead and continue breathing in color.

Exhaling,

Allowing it to cover,

Diffuse more area throughout your body.

From here,

Allow yourself to bring your next inhale as an inhale to your heart space.

Inhale that color.

Exhale,

Diffusing.

And from all these areas,

Imagine you are able to fill your entire body with color.

Till your entire body is a watercolor piece of various tones,

Shades,

Intentions,

Love.

Allow it to radiate from your body.

Seep through your feet,

Into the ground,

The earth,

Out of your fingers and your head,

Into the air,

Towards the rest of the breathing things.

Knowing that you can pour from what you now have gained,

That you've given yourself a gift,

Breathing and attending to all the areas in you.

And from that place,

You can move forward in the world.
