Namaste everyone,

A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dhyansa.

We are meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

Mind is a confusion,

Not that mind is confused,

Not that mind reaches to clarity.

Mind never is in clarity.

Mind never reaches to clarity because mind itself is the confusion.

Mind itself is the creator of confusion in life.

You can reflect this back into your life.

Take any situation of your life and observe your mind.

Isn't your mind creating all the confusions about whatever is going on in your life?

Isn't it the mind which is bringing confusion to something that is so obvious,

Something that is so clear,

Something that is so much there but your mind immediately brings the confusion.

Your mind is the one that is creating the confusion and then you are looking for clarity in life.

The clarity that is already there,

The clarity that is the obvious of life but we are caught up in mind and this mind is the one that is creating all the confusions and we are caught up in these confusions in life.

To move from confusion to clarity,

You need a bridge because you have lived so much in the mind that the mind is always holding you in the confusion.

It may give you just as a bait some answers to some things,

Some rationals,

Some logics to make you believe that you have now reached to clarity but that clarity is so short-lived.

You see,

You raise a question and maybe you receive a logical,

A rational answer.

The moment you receive that answer,

Some other question arises and this questioning and answering within the mind continues.

It never results in clarity.

It just creates more and more and more confusion.

To build this bridge between this confusion to clarity which is the obvious,

Which is where you belong,

Which is your natural state,

Something has to happen along the way.

A bridge has to be built that bridge is meditation.

That bridge is the spiritual journey between confusion and clarity,

Between the mind and the consciousness.

See that your consciousness is always clear.

Consciousness is the clarity of life.

Mind is the confusion of life because mind tries to hold on to things that are happening in life,

To the knowledge of life,

To the experience of life into a certain model,

Into a certain understanding and we try to hanker for that understanding all throughout our lives creating more and more confusion.

The understanding is not necessary.

What is necessary is awareness.

What is necessary,

What is natural,

Innate to us is consciousness.

In that consciousness there is clarity.

In that consciousness you have the ability to hold everything that is there in your life.

All your experiences,

All your knowledge,

Everything that you can ever imagine you can hold in your consciousness,

In the clarity of consciousness but never in the mind.

Mind is always confused,

Is always in confusion.

It is futile to address the confusion of the mind and in fact this journey from the confusion to clarity cannot happen unless you go through even more confusion,

Even more absurdity,

Even more uncertainty,

Unpredictability,

More ambiguity,

Unless you go through that,

Unless you go through the bridge of absurdity,

Of ambiguity,

Of all these things which take you out of your mind,

You will never reach to clarity.

But the mind would never agree to that.

Mind will always resist to that.

Why would mind put itself in more absurdity?

Why would mind put itself in more ambiguity?

It would never allow you to do that.

Therefore this path of spirituality is the difficult path.

It is not for everyone.

You may come to meditation,

You may come to spirituality for just getting a soft massage to your mind,

Something that makes your mind feel good about things.

But this movement is completely the opposite.

This movement is a bridge between your mind and your consciousness.

This movement of spirituality goes through a lot of ambiguity,

A lot of absurdity in the process where your mind just is totally confused.

You don't know what to do but you have to go through that.

And along this journey you have to lay your trust in the bridge between this unclarity,

This confusion and the clarity.

You have to lay your trust,

Your love,

Your heart,

Your spirit into something,

Into someone.

Someone needs to take you from your mind,

From your confusion to this clarity.

But the process,

The journey goes through even more confusion.

Mooli,

He was alone and he thought of having a pet.

So he went to a shop,

He was looking for lots of pets,

Different kinds,

Doing different things.

He came across a parrot.

He found it very intriguing,

The parrot.

So he asked the shopkeeper,

What is the speciality of this parrot?

Shopkeeper said,

This parrot is a very learned parrot.

See if there are two threads to its legs.

If you pull the right leg with this thread,

The parrot talks all about religion,

It talks all about spirituality,

It will give you all the sutras,

It has learned from all the books,

It has all the knowledge.

So Mooli said,

What if I pull the left leg,

What does it do?

Shopkeeper said,

If you pull his left leg,

This parrot will talk all about science.

It has learned all the subjects of science,

It can tell you the latest developments in science,

It can talk everything that is there in the science.

Mooli was very impressed and he said,

What if I pull both the legs,

Both the threads?

Before the shopkeeper could say something,

The parrot said,

You idiot,

I'll fall on my ass,

Never do that.

Mind never wants to be taken of its position.

It always wants to stand on something,

On something it calls as understanding.

But that understanding is in itself the confusion.

Somebody is required a guide,

A master,

Somebody is required to pull both of your legs of the mind so that you from confusion move into something that is so absurd,

Something that is so ambiguous,

Something so contradictory that your mind has no hold over you and it then gives up on you.

It releases you from its grip and you are in consciousness.

So moving from mind to consciousness,

That absurdity,

That ambiguity,

That discomfort,

Discomfort is required to walk that bridge,

To move towards consciousness,

To move towards clarity.

Buddha,

He was talking to his disciples and he was always also entertaining some private conversations allowing people to come and ask questions privately.

One person who was a feast,

He came to Buddha,

He said,

God is so beautiful,

It's everywhere,

Can you say something more about God?

To that person,

Buddha said,

There is no God.

The person was completely confused,

Shattered,

He went back into confusion.

Later in the afternoon,

Another person came to Buddha to see him in private.

He was an atheist,

A very strong atheist.

He came to Buddha,

He said,

I know also there is no God.

What do you have to say to that?

Buddha said,

There is only God,

There is nothing else but God.

Once again,

The person was completely shattered,

He was completely confused,

He left Buddha from that private meeting.

In the evening,

Another person came who was an agnostic.

He said to Buddha,

I do not believe in God,

I do not also believe that there is no God.

What do you have to say to that?

Buddha remained completely silent,

So silent that the person became uncomfortable.

He came with a positioning to tell Buddha something that he knows,

But Buddha remained completely silent.

And once again,

The person was confused,

The person was shattered,

The mind was in even more confusion.

Buddha's one of the disciples,

Ananda,

He was witnessing all these three events,

What happened in the morning with the feast,

In the afternoon with the atheist,

And in the evening with the agnostic.

Later in the night before going to bed,

He went to Buddha,

Because he was completely confused what was happening.

He went to Buddha and said,

I have seen what has happened,

What you said to the feast in the morning,

To the atheist in the afternoon,

And to the agnostic later in the evening.

What is all this?

Buddha said these were all the messages for those individuals.

Now since you have listened to all these three messages,

That is for you.

Now meditate over this confusion.

What is that?

This confusion which is bigger than your mind,

See that this bridge,

This ambiguity,

This absurdity has to be lived for you to come out of your mind.

Otherwise you will keep on holding on to the notions,

The ideas,

And all sorts of things in your life.

They will keep you trapped in your own mind.

The idea here is to not give you some other mind,

Some other ideology.

Here the process is to make your mind malleable so that you can come out of it and you can be always in consciousness,

Always in clarity and use the mind with its dynamic nature.

Not the static mind,

Not the fixed mind as we have learned to create for ourselves with the rationals,

With the logic,

With only one or two faculties of the mind.

The mind is a very wonderful instrument as well if you learn to use it dynamically,

If you learn to be with its fluidity.

But that is only possible when you are in clarity,

When you are in consciousness.

Let us hear what Bhairava has to say and give to us as a technique in this context.

Bhairava says,

Being powerless to perceive objects due to ignorance or wrong perception,

If one is able to dissolve the mind by absorbing it on the erroneous perception of objects,

Then at the end of commotion brought about by that absorption,

There the form of Bhairava appears.

A long way,

A confusing way to say that let go in confusion.

All Bhairava is saying in this sutra which we do not even need to break open,

What he is saying is let go in confusion.

When your mind is in confusion and as you observe yourself,

You will see your mind is desperately trying to create clarity,

It is somewhat in confusion.

If you can rest,

If you can let go in that confusion,

Be in that confusion,

Allow that confusion to be and simply be at rest,

Be in a let go of that confusion.

Your energies will be absorbed,

Your energies will be settled,

In that settlement your consciousness rises,

In that settlement your clarity rises once again.

So allowing yourself to let go in the confusion of the mind.

It does not matter a small confusion or a big confusion which topic of life you are facing which is confusing you,

Just rest for a while with that confusion,

In that confusion,

Even if it is an erroneous perception,

Even if it is something that is incorrect,

Something that is not the truth,

Even with that if you rest.

If you for a moment rest with your mind,

With the confusions of your mind,

The clarity rises on its own and you learn how to use the mind in a dynamic,

In a fluid way,

Not with its static structures as you are living right now.

Let us practice this in the next moments of our silence,

How to be in this confusion and be at rest with it,

Simply observing what is going on in your inner space.

And you will see things are here and there,

Ideas are rising,

Thoughts are rising,

Trying to give you a certain sense of things.

Do not force yourself to make any sense out of anything.

Where you are,

What you are doing,

Do not try to make any sense out of it for a while,

Simply rest in that rest,

In that silence,

Your awareness will rise,

Your consciousness will rise.

Let us close our eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

Nose down,

Head straight,

Spine erect,

Body restful yet alert.

Let us close our eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

Feelings Middle Senior Wherever your awareness is,

Wherever your mind is,

Let it be.

It's half outside,

Half inside,

In thoughts,

In ideas.

Let it be in the confusion it is.

For a moment,

Rest.

Do not try to focus anywhere.

Or try to solve anything with your mind,

With your energies.

Simply rest in this confusion.

Let it be.

Allowing the mind to go wherever it goes.

You rest in this confusion.

Let it be.

As the awareness rises.

Simply observe this inner confusion.

Your mind going here and there.

Simply observing this whole confusion and resting.

Let it be.

Let it be.

Let it be.

Let it be.

Let it be.

In this rest,

In this silence,

Your awareness rises.

Your consciousness arises.

No focus.

Only restful awareness.

Let it be.

Not trying to solve anything,

Answer anything,

Chase anything.

Resting in awareness.

Let it be.

Let it be.

No focus.

Allowing the confusion.

You remaining at rest in awareness.

Let it be.

Let it be.

Let it be.

In this silence,

In this awareness,

There is clarity.

Clarity not of the mind.

Clarity of your spirit.

Of your soul.

Of your core.

Of who you really are.

Let it be.

In a total let go.

Not trying to do anything.

Let it be.

Let it be.

Remaining aware of this silence.

Of this clarity of consciousness.

And very gently and slowly,

You may open your eyes.

In your spirit,

There is clarity.

In your mind,

There may be confusion.

As you move into your life,

As you are in daily activities,

Remember that to remain connected to your consciousness.

To be always in consciousness.

That is where you will always be in clarity.

In all situations of life,

Without any exception,

It does not matter who you are,

It does not matter what you do in life and what kind of lifestyle that you have.

On this spiritual journey towards clarity,

From confusion to clarity,

If you wish to be in My guidance and flow along with other meditators in a community,

You are more than welcome to apply,

To be in this community by giving your introduction,

By your calling for this journey,

Going through more and more confusion towards clarity.

And what can you give back to this community of meditators,

This Sangha of meditators moving towards love,

Towards truth,

Towards oneness.

Thank you very much.

Namaste.
