Namaste sannyasa family and everyone.

A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dhyansa,

In meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

In the past sessions,

We have been exploring the vibration of healing,

To bring healing into our life with two vibrations,

One is the vibration of love and the second the vibration of truth.

Let us take a step closer to the truth.

Let us dive deeper into the truth.

If you will go to a psychologist and let the psychologist psychoanalyze you,

You will be surprised to know how many issues he will list down about you.

And not just you,

Anybody,

The 8 billion people on the planet,

Any person on the planet,

If that person would go to a psychologist and let that psychologist psychoanalyze that person,

You will see a long list of issues,

A long list of problems.

Why is the psychologist not telling the truth?

Or are you not healthy?

Why is that?

Because mind itself is a problem.

Mind itself is an issue,

Not that your mind has some issues,

Your mind has some problems,

Mind itself is an issue,

Mind itself is a problem.

Why do we say that?

Because this mind is like a prison and while we live in this prison,

If we go to a psychologist and try to sort out the issues,

How the bed is,

How the window is,

How the food is,

If we continue to address these details of the prison itself,

We never would realize that the door of the prison is always open.

And you are constantly living in the mind the whole time,

You are just in the mind the whole time,

Even if the door of this prison is always open.

And you can always step out.

You step in when you need the mind,

When you use the mind as an instrument,

But you don't start living in the mind so that it becomes a prison for you all throughout your life and then you get busy in sorting out these details of the prison,

How the bed of the prison should be,

How the food in the prison should be,

How the picture should be hanging in the prison in a certain way.

This whole mind,

Do not decorate this mind like a prison,

Come out of the mind.

This mind is not supposed to be lived all the time.

That's where the issue is,

This whole mind itself is a prison.

Learn to live out of the mind,

Learn to use the mind like an instrument,

Like you have a knife in your hand,

You use that knife to cut something so that you can cook,

But you don't keep on holding that knife all throughout your life,

All throughout your 24 hours.

If you keep on holding that knife,

Of course you will be mad,

Of course anyone who sees you holding the knife all the time will immediately see that you have gone crazy.

But we all keep on holding this knife,

This holding this mind all the time.

We all are mad in that sense that we constantly live in the mind,

You are living in the mind,

The someone next to you is living in the mind,

The door of this prison is always open,

But we all are just in the mind all the time,

Suffering all what the mind has to offer.

Step out of the mind,

Live out of the mind.

This process of meditation is once again a reminder to you,

To give you that taste,

To give you that experience,

To wake you up,

To remind you that this mind is not supposed to be lived in all the time and you can live out of the mind.

A monk,

He went to a monastery to learn about spirituality.

The master gave him a cottage to stay and meditate on.

The monk he stayed in the cottage.

The master said,

For the next four years we will not speak a word,

You will not say a word.

And after four years you can come and tell me what you have learned,

But you will have only two words to tell.

The meditator agreed,

He went into the cottage and spent four years.

He came back and that was the time to meet the master after four years to say what the person has learned.

The monk,

He came to the master,

He looked at the master.

Master gave him the permission to say those two words and the monk said,

Too cold.

After four years,

These two words he remembered,

Too cold in this cottage where he was.

The master gave him a whack on his head with his stick,

Sent him back to the cottage for another four years.

He went back into the four years,

Into his cottage.

Came back after another four years.

Master waited to hear what the learning is from this meditator.

The meditator came,

Looked at the master for the permission and said,

Hard bed.

Master once again gave him a whack on his head and let him go and spend another four years in the hope that now he will learn something.

And the meditator spent another four years,

Came back,

Looked at the master,

Waited for his approval to say something and said,

Bad food.

This is how we spend our life.

We continue to just remain in the prison of the mind.

Even if the door is open,

Even if you can always step out of this prison.

But we keep on getting caught up in the little details of the mind and starting to just get involved and spend the whole life in managing those details,

In fixing those details.

Rather,

Use the mind for what is needed and step out of the mind and live out of the mind.

Life is not in the mind,

Life is out of the mind.

Life experience,

Love,

Truths,

Everything that is there,

That is real,

Is out of the mind while you are busy in the mind.

Let us take a look at a short example of this,

Of how we can get caught up in the mind and trying to solve those little details about the mind.

This example arises as a sharing from one of our meditators in our sannyasa family,

In our community.

This example is not just a reflection on this person,

This meditator who has shared her experience,

Who has shared her mind,

But it is for all of us to reflect because we are all the same.

The meditator says,

I have a fear of rejection and loneliness,

But what I realize is that I am actually asking for that with my own actions.

I have been a people's pleaser and I wanted everyone to like me in the fear that I would get rejected and end up being alone.

Now though I thought I have accepted myself as I am without thinking too much what others think,

But I still don't let anyone too close.

See that you are living in the mind.

See that the issues that you are raising are of the mind,

They are not your issues.

You are far away from all these issues are of the mind and you are living constantly in the mind.

Accept out of the mind,

Live out of the mind.

Life is here,

Not in the mind.

The second thing if you see,

The meditator says,

I have a fear of rejection.

Why do you have that fear of rejection?

Because you have not accepted yourself in the first place.

You have not yet come to terms with who you really are.

And the idea,

The projection that you have put for yourself who you are is creating the problem that idea is what is giving you this fear of rejection.

Because first of all you have put up this idea of who you are and secondly you are not accepting even this idea of who you are.

Forget about knowing who you are,

You have not even accepted the idea of what you have projected for yourself as who you are.

So the best is to leave all these projections and go find out who you really are.

And that search is out of the mind.

You will never find that answer within the mind.

So go on that search on the truth of who you really are.

And meanwhile if you have put up some idea of who you are,

I am this person,

I am loving,

I am caring,

I love the whole world,

Whatever idea you have put for yourself,

At least respect that idea.

At least accept that idea for yourself.

If you will accept yourself,

Everyone else will accept you as well.

And the last part of this question about loneliness,

I have a fear of rejection and loneliness.

Why is there this loneliness?

Once again see that this mind is what calls all the entertainment,

All the company around to keep itself entertained,

To feel not lonely.

But you are always alone.

See that you came into the world all alone.

You will go leave this world all alone and all this time you have always been alone.

The idea that you are with others is just a projection.

You are always alone.

You have always been alone.

You will always be alone.

So learn to be with your aloneness,

Not loneliness.

Loneliness belongs to the mind.

Loneliness is that state of the mind which cannot handle its aloneness.

And you come out of this mind.

You be in this awareness.

Not in the mind but in the awareness.

In the awareness you will realize that you have always been alone.

In other words,

What is this aloneness?

This aloneness is that we all are one.

In this oneness we are all alone.

See that this aloneness is not an individual aloneness.

This aloneness is oneness with all.

Unless you feel one with all,

Unless you realize your oneness with all,

You will never understand what is this aloneness.

And you will flip to being lonely.

You will move into the prison of your mind where this aloneness becomes loneliness.

Where then you will look for some idea to entertain yourself to hold on to.

So the best is to come out of this mind.

Stop decorating this mind.

Stop fixing different aspects of the mind.

Learn to live out of the mind.

Learn to live with awareness.

Learn to live in the truth.

Learn to live in love.

In that love,

In that awareness,

In the truth,

There is no calculation.

There is only spontaneity.

In that spontaneity,

Whatever you do is the right thing.

There are a couple of more aspects on these questions.

We will take them tomorrow.

For now,

Let us sit in silence.

Let us come out of this prison of the mind.

How do you do that?

How do you see the door of this prison?

This works in a slightly different way.

As you become aware of your mind,

As you become aware of your inner space,

It starts with becoming aware of the mind,

Of the contents of the mind,

But as this awareness establishes,

A sudden shift happens in your consciousness.

This shift does not happen by you doing something.

It happens on its own.

This shift is suddenly out of the mind.

This is the magic of meditation.

This is the transcendence in meditation.

This is where you don't do anything,

But something happens.

So as you sit in silence,

As you sit in observation of your mind,

In simple witnessing,

In not trying to do anything,

In simply witnessing your mind,

In simply realizing that you are witnessing whatever is happening in your mind and you are a silent observer,

While you do this awareness,

While you are in this awareness more and more,

Suddenly a shift happens where you realize you are suddenly out of the mind.

The mind is there,

The thoughts might be there,

Everything might be there,

You are out of that prison.

In that realization is freedom.

In that realization is liberation.

Let us bring this into our own experience.

Please close your eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

Finding a restful posture where your body is in balance,

Is rested.

Rested yet alert.

That fine balance between alertness and restfulness.

And shifting your awareness inwards.

For the next minutes,

Observe your mind.

Observe your inner space.

Whatever arises in your mind,

In your inner space,

Thoughts,

Images,

Ideas,

Distractions,

Everything that arises,

You simply observe.

Not trying to change anything.

Not trying to stop anything.

Not trying to come out of anything.

Simply observing.

Not dreaming.

Thank you.

Silence.

Silently observing,

Witnessing.

Silence.

Silence.

Not expecting anything to happen.

Simply observing your mind.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Remain a witness.

Observing your mind.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Let go of the mind.

Remain in awareness of nothing in particular.

In awareness.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Life is here in this awareness,

In this silence,

Not in the mind.

Everything worth experiencing in life is here in this silence,

In this awareness,

Not in the mind.

Use the mind and live out of the mind.

Very gently and slowly,

You may open your eyes.

Stay in this awareness and silence that is your true nature,

That is something natural to you.

You don't have to do anything to be in this awareness,

In this silence.

Stay in this,

Take it to your daily life,

Make it a default in your daily life.

And for those who are on this path of seeking the truth,

Of knowing oneself more deeply,

In exploring what is this silence,

In exploring what is this awareness,

On this journey of seeking the truth,

Of exploring the silence and awareness.
