Hello,
This is Beth.
I'm here to support your commitment to healing and knowing your true self.
Officially starting in 2026,
I will be offering monthly alignment sessions to help you realign your energy,
Quiet the mind,
And reconnect with your essence.
These sessions will weave together wisdom,
Meditation,
Energy healing,
Contemplation,
And mindful awareness,
All guided by the month's theme.
If you enjoy this sharing and would like to stay informed when a new audio drops,
Please follow my profile here on Insight Timer,
And don't forget to rate your experience.
It really does help.
The necessity of the divine,
Hidden hunger of our times.
We live in an age of extraordinary technology,
Convenience,
And knowledge.
Yet beneath the surface,
Many people are struggling with loneliness,
Anxiety,
Disconnection,
And a quiet sense of meaninglessness.
Why?
Because there is something our humanity cannot live without.
The acknowledgement of the divine that underlies all of life.
Without reverence,
We lose our way.
When this acknowledgement is missing,
We see the symptoms around us.
A kind of moral bankruptcy that allows exploitation to flourish.
We see meaninglessness and despair.
We see disconnect from our true nature and from each other.
Every wisdom tradition in its own language points to this truth.
Life is not random,
Empty,
Or mechanical.
It is alive with presence,
Intelligence,
And beauty.
When we forget this,
We forget ourselves.
And when we cut ourselves off from the sacred thread,
We drift into moral confusion,
Endless consumption,
And despair.
We're trying to fill that hole,
That void.
Without acknowledgement of the divine,
Our choices easily become self-serving.
We lose sight of our shared humanity,
How we are all connected.
The world around us begins to look like an object to be exploited,
Rather than a sacred home to be cared for.
The greatest crisis of our times is not political,
Economic,
Or even environmental.
It's spiritual.
Not religious,
Spiritual.
And this void of reverence is at the heart of the dysfunction in all other areas of life.
It is the desecration of what is true,
Beautiful,
And uplifting.
The neglect of the very qualities that nourish the soul.
We cannot thrive as human beings without reverence.
We cannot feel whole while living in denial of the sacred nature of life.
Acknowledging the divine doesn't require dogma,
Religious affiliation,
Or blind belief.
It is as simple as pausing in awe before the sky.
It's as humble as whispering thank you to the mystery that breathes us,
And as sincere as choosing beauty,
Kindness,
And integrity in a world that often forgets them.
This acknowledgement reweaves meaning into our lives.
It reconnects us with one another.
And it grounds morality,
Not in the fear of punishment,
But in love and reverence for life itself.
So in the month ahead,
In working with this particular alignment,
It's all about taking a daily pause of reverence to really appreciate the truth or beauty or divine nature in either aspects of ourselves or others,
Or the things that are in our world.
Please make yourself comfortably seated.
Feet on the floor.
Back straight.
And begin to settle into your breath.
Feeling that tidal coming and going of the air rushing in and out of your lungs.
As you focus on and with the breath,
Notice the body respond in perhaps subtle or not-so-subtle ways.
Feel the unwinding of knots with each exhalation.
When the world around us feels or seems devoid of sacredness,
Of holiness coming from the root whole,
Holy,
Wholeness,
It can be so easy to succumb to a sense of meaninglessness and despair or emptiness.
It can seem like everything around us is mechanical,
Flat,
Devoid of spirit.
So let us go even more deeply now into this breath.
This breath that is breathing you.
Allow your attention to completely shift into this connection with your own breath,
This incredible,
Mysterious force that is always with you throughout life.
Allow a sense of gratitude to arise from your heart that you are breathing,
That you are alive,
That something loves you so much,
That it keeps this force of breath moving,
That you deserve to be here,
You have purpose.
Even if we might not be able to put words or concepts around this truth,
Something knows we are worthy of breath.
Stay with your breath and all the sensations that arise from it.
Feeling the movement of the body,
Tissues.
Knowing that your very cells are drinking.
Sufi Master Hasarat Inyat Khan speaks about the three forces of the breath.
The breath in and out the nose is a very subtle breath.
The breath in and out the mouth has an even greater impact on the world around us.
For example,
You could blow out a candle.
Then there is the power of audiated breath.
This is where we activate our vocal cords to make sounds or words.
This is the gift that breath gives us.
So let us use that gift now in service to ourselves,
In service to life.
Sufi Master Hasarat Inyat Khan With one hand or fingertip on your heart,
Declare out loud with me,
I am life.
Life,
I see you.
I honor you.
I am life.
Life,
I see you.
I honor you.
I am life.
Life,
I see you.
I honor you.
Sufi Master Hasarat Inyat Khan Notice how this small act shifts your sense of connection and meaning.
Return to this daily pause of reverence every day this month.
It doesn't have to be this exact practice.
It can be anything.
As simple as opening your door in the morning and breathing in the fresh air and welcoming life.
Or sitting with a beautiful flower,
Taking in its presence,
Its color,
Its life.
If you'd like to go deeper and writing is your thing,
I suggest working with a couple of prompts.
Where in my life am I overlooking the sacred?
What simple act of reverence could I bring into my day?
So our final thought for today.
Our world doesn't need more innovation,
More strategies,
More progress.
It needs reverence.
It hungers for reverence.
It needs the courage to acknowledge the divine and let that acknowledgement shape how we live.
When we return to reverence,
We return to ourselves and to the possibility of a world infused with truth,
Beauty,
And light.
So when you're ready,
You can begin to make small movements.
Your fingers,
Toes,
Or take your hands to your face and just give it a light wash.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Thank you for your commitment to heal and know your true self.
