Somewhere in Barcelona,
After a year and a half of continuous traveling,
I found myself paying more attention to dairy products.
Baked goods,
Well,
Those were always a weakness.
Even in Spain,
Where you walk past these little cafes in the morning,
And the smell,
Mmm.
And in France,
Where I've traveled many times,
Those insanely delicious croissants just drove me crazy.
I grew up on baked goods,
Having moved to Barcelona as a teenager.
I remember my mom always baking something tasty,
Cakes that were just to die for.
But the hardest thing for me was cutting out those baked delights.
How did I manage to do it?
The key was realizing there's living food and dead food.
When I returned to Barcelona,
After my adventures in Asia,
When I was still just vegetarianing and cooking my own food,
I noticed that when I ate more vegetables,
I felt exponentially better.
I started to understand that when I cook vegetables,
Their cells die.
I was kind of killing them,
Making them inactive.
I started calling the alive cells,
Self-disciplined,
Almost like self-motivated.
Cooked vegetarian food lingers in the body longer,
And it takes more effort and energy to process it.
You need active physical practices,
Like yoga or running,
To help your body eliminate it more effectively.
When I understood the concept of living vs.
Non-living food,
I realized that living food contains enzymes,
Proteins that accelerate chemical reactions in the body,
Acting as catalysts.
Now,
I'm not trying to downplay cooked food,
Far from it.
I'm just emphasizing the importance of enzymes and live cells,
Along with keeping the body in an alkaline state.
This realization came to me after two or three years of experimenting with food.
Around that time,
I also began studying water closely,
Its composition,
The kind of water I drank,
Its pH level.
I realized the body could be either alkaline or acidic,
And that's influenced by water's pH and structure.
I use shungite stones to structure my water.
By the way,
I've shared the experience of a Japanese scientist who explored this concept in a documentary,
The Great Secret of Water.
I decided to run my own experiment.
I took three glasses,
Filled them halfway with dry rice,
And added water.
For two to three weeks,
I approached each glass and spoke a single word to them.
To the first glass,
I said love.
To the second,
Death.
And I completely ignored the third one.
After the experiment,
I realized just how deeply our mental state and thoughts influence us.
When I said love to the first glass,
The rice stayed practically clean.
In the second glass,
Where I said death,
The rice became moldy,
Black,
And worms started to appear.
In the third glass,
The one I ignored,
The rice also molded,
And worms showed up there too.
It turned out that ignoring is also a form of negative,
Low-vibration energy.
This understanding helped me immensely on my path,
And it transformed my relationship with food.
I began charging my meals with positive words and prayers before eating.
Not out of obligation,
But to send positive intentions.
Knowing that I was about to absorb that energy,
I also started charging my water,
Knowing that my body is 70% water.
Eventually,
I decided to consume more water-rich foods,
Cucumbers,
Tomatoes,
Leafy greens,
Fruits,
And vegetables.
Cooked food gradually began disappearing from my diet.
Sometimes I'd still indulge,
Because let's be honest,
Cooked food with spices and aromas is delicious.
But my mindset shifted more and more towards live food,
And after eating it,
I felt alive,
Joyful,
And couldn't see myself going back.
I genuinely enjoyed it.
All my practices,
Like yoga and meditation,
Were going full throttle.
I started waking up earlier,
Brimming with enthusiasm for meditation and yoga.
Creativity flowed effortlessly,
And I had this constant surge of energy.
Gradually,
This is how I transitioned to a vegan diet.
I am with you in spirit.
