Today we awaken the child in us who has never left us,
Who is still there within us with his curiosity,
His naivety,
His insecurity and also with the sufferings he went through when he was little.
The period of time when what he needed was only protection and love.
We awaken him or her to take care of this beautiful presence that will accompany us for the rest of our life.
Let's start by taking three deep breaths through our mouth.
We relax our shoulders,
Our necks.
We put so much stress on this part of the body as in other parts of our body.
We often do not have even the time and the energy to relax and let it go,
Let it slip away.
A light is illuminating us from above,
It is entering our body from the head and start to travel within us,
Warming us,
Protecting us and illuminating us.
Our chakras are being reactivated more and more by all these and we feel more and more relaxed.
Slowly,
We scan our body and focus on each part.
The light is moving within us.
Our third eye chakra is radiated with light and we feel more confident about ourselves and our vision.
We relax our eyelids,
Our eyes,
Cheekbones and our jaw.
The light moves and it's on the throat chakra now.
It gives us confidence and strength for those times that we have not used our voice properly to say what we really felt.
It also gives us support for when we have used it in the wrong way,
When we have said things that we really did not mean.
The light shifts and reaches our shoulders which relax even more.
Now it is on our heart and feels it with strength and vigor to support these organs of ours on which all others depend.
We feel more and more at peace within ourselves.
We breathe deeply three times through our nose.
Our solar plexus chakra receives the light of the universe.
We place our hands on this chakra and feel the warmth of our body,
The energy that is inside us.
We feel alive and we are grateful to be here.
Slowly the light reaches the sacral chakra,
First radiating and purifying all the organs at its passes.
Then it reaches the road chakra and the light connects through our legs and feet with Mother Earth.
We feel more connected with the Earth and the universe itself.
Let's take three deep breaths,
Place our hands again on the solar plexus chakra and let's rediscover the child inside us.
With our hands we are caressing his head and his face.
We are giving him love and tenderness for those times he needed them and didn't receive them.
We talk to that child and tell him that we understand him,
That we understand his suffering and the difficulties he had to overcome during his childhood.
We tell him that we will always be here,
That we will always carry him within us.
We thank him for always being with us,
For making us see the world with eyes that are different than those of us as adults.
We express gratitude for that innocence that makes us see ourselves,
Others and the world still without prejudice,
Without malice and with an open heart full of love.
Now we hug him and whisper words of affection,
Sweetness and we hold him tight again before saying goodbye.
But it's just a goodbye,
Not a real,
Real,
Real goodbye.
Because we all know we will never abandon us,
We will never abandon him or her.
We can always find him or her and vice versa.
