I invite you to take a comfortable seat to settle into the present moment.
You may choose to sit upright or recline on your bed.
Take a deep breath in and on the exhale,
Allow yourself to fully land where you are.
Allow yourself to be right where you are without any expectations.
Use these next few minutes to give yourself the same attention and nurture you give to others daily.
We give so much of our energy away and often forget to reserve some of it for ourselves to meet our own needs.
Meditation is a space for us to connect to who we are right now and what we are needing in this moment.
Remember there is no right or wrong way to meditate.
If I can give you one tip for your meditation practice,
It would be to give yourself full permission to simply notice what comes up for you in the stillness.
Notice if it feels easy or challenging to be here now.
Let go of any expectations of how you think meditation should feel and look.
Or are ready doing it.
Continue to focus on your breathing.
Take a deep inhale and an even longer and slower exhale.
Take another deep inhale and an even longer and slower exhale.
Notice how you've landed.
Becoming calmer,
More present.
Now simply embrace the silence.
