Welcome to your practice today.
I'm Violet.
Let's begin.
I invite you to settle yourself into a comfortable position.
Maybe you find yourself in a seat with your back upright or enjoying the support of your bed fully surrendering to this moment in time.
Whatever else may be happening around you,
Use the next few minutes to regain a sense of balance and to reconnect with yourself.
Drawing your attention to your breathing now,
Simply notice how this moment is for you.
Does your breath flow easily?
Or does it take some conscious effort to slow down and settle?
With each passing breath,
Deepen your breathing,
Making the exhale longer than the inhale.
Releasing an audible sigh if you feel called to do so.
Notice yourself landing,
Relaxing into the space into the now.
Now,
Reconnect with your natural breath,
Effortless and steady.
Feeling more balanced and more centered with each passing moment.
You are arriving home back to yourself.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
Just noticing how this moment is for you.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
You are arriving home.
Relax your awareness.
Meditation is a place to reconnect with ourselves,
Despite our circumstances and the events happening around us.
You may feel stress present in your life.
Meditation may feel difficult.
And your thoughts may race,
Making it challenging for you to relax and become still.
This observation may be an opportunity to consider making one small change in your life that will help you maintain a healthy connection to yourself.
Maybe what you're needing is some extra self-care or to move a bit slower and to be more intentional with the commitments you make.
At the same time,
We notice that our external state is also impacted by our internal state.
The more you return to meditate,
And the more time you spend consciously bringing yourself back to center,
The more balance you create in your daily life.
Meditation is a tool that we can use to reconnect with ourselves,
And also to reconnect with the sweetness of life.
Now,
Bringing your attention back to your body.
Bringing small movements back to your limbs.
Deepening your breath.
Becoming more aware of where you are.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and hold on to this feeling of stillness for just a moment longer.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
I'll see you next time.
