I invite you to come to this moment.

To simply be present to yourself.

To simply notice your body in space.

Notice the seat beneath you.

Notice the earth beneath your feet.

I invite you to notice your thoughts and your emotions.

Notice your breath as it moves in and out of your nose.

Cool on the inhale.

Warm on the exhale.

Without trying to change anything.

Simply allowing it to be.

I invite you to notice how in this very moment you are safe.

You are perfect.

You are limitless.

I invite you to consider that in this very moment you are your own healer.

And that in this very moment you have an absolutely limitless capacity to love,

To feel joy,

To be inspired,

And to know that you are complete and whole in every aspect of your being.

You,

Dear one,

Are a very wise human being.

I invite you now into your own healing practice designed to calm the mind,

To return you to presence and to expand your heart.

Because from the heart expanded place you are truly,

Truly limitless.

From the heart expanded place you get to express the divine within you.

And so I invite you to place your attention on your hands,

The palms of your hands.

What do you notice?

Where you place your energy and your focus and your attention,

Your energy flows to.

So energize your hands.

Dig your fingernails into the palms of your hands if you need to.

Take your hands up.

See if you can feel the energy growing in your hands.

Hold your palms close together.

Draw them apart a little bit.

Close together again.

Drawing them apart again.

Do you notice the energy building there?

Now place the palms of your hands on your temples.

Just feel the energy exchanging between your head and your hands.

Between the space around your head and the space around your hands.

Your hands have infinite healing capacity.

Notice how your monkey mind responds.

Notice if you sense the overwhelm.

Allow your hands to soothe your mind.

Allow your hands to calm down the firing.

Between your hands you may think lies an impenetrable forest or a brick wall or the tallest building.

But truly the energy of your hands is able to move through all of these and much more.

The energy of your hands is soothing and calming.

Allow the energy of your hands to work through whatever obstacle is before you.

If your arms grow weary,

Just allow your elbows to rest in front of you.

When you feel complete,

Move your hands now to your heart center.

To this most blessed energy center of the human body.

Notice just simply notice your breath and your breathing as it moves in and out of your nose or mouth.

Expanding the heart center.

Relaxing the heart center on your out breath.

Breathing on the in breath.

Releasing on the out breath.

Notice now just the breathing,

Just your body,

Just yourself in space now.

Just keeping your attention focused on your heart center.

Imagine it filling with light.

I see a beautiful pale pink glow,

But you might see green or any other color.

You might see no color at all,

But just feel the energy of the heart center.

You might hear words such as love or peace or compassion or kindness.

Stay with this sensation,

Whatever it is.

And remembering that you are a very wise human being.

Remembering now that spirit has endowed you with more gifts than you can imagine,

More gifts than you can count.

Remembering that they are all here within you,

Within the space of your heart.

With gratitude now for those gifts.

With gratitude for the connection that you share with spirit always.

Breathing deeply into your heart center,

Expanding it even further.

Call forth the wise human within you.

Call forth your inner wise being.

And bring forth the question,

The problem,

The distress that you were feeling before you began this practice.

Is it emotional overwhelm?

Is it physical overwhelm with your to do list?

Is it physical exhaustion?

Is it confusion?

Is it a sense of not belonging?

Is it a sense that nothing is ever good enough?

Bring it forward now.

And lay this distress on the table before your heart center,

The altar before you,

Before you and spirit.

And ask for spirit to speak through the wisdom of your heart.

If you're feeling overwhelmed,

Ask what is in my best and highest good for this moment right now with this situation I'm experiencing?

Do I need a break?

Do I need to call in support?

Am I nourished?

Am I hydrated?

Do I need a friend?

Do I need to ask my coach?

Ask what is it that I need right now?

What is it that is in my best and highest good?

Simply allow your higher self,

Your heart center,

Your connection to spirit,

Allow that knowingness to bubble up.

Don't second guess it.

Don't question it.

Don't try to make too much rational sense.

Just let the answers come.

Spirit is in my highest good in regards to this distress I'm experiencing right now.

And thanking our guides and thanking spirit,

Thanking our higher selves for being with us.

We thank you for answering our question today.

We thank you for bringing us back to presence.

We thank you for the breath,

For this beautiful,

Perfect breath in this beautiful,

Perfect moment.

When you feel complete,

Come back to your breath,

Notice the inhale,

Notice the exhale,

Notice the energy in your hands,

Notice the thoughts in your mind,

Notice the emotions in your heart.

Wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers,

Pat your arms,

Pat your legs,

Stretch,

Breathe deeply,

Fully into your body.

Feel fully,

Come fully back to this very present moment.

And take a moment to write down whatever came up for you,

Whatever you noticed.

What message did spirit have for you?

What came through from your higher self?

What's the best course of action for you to take right in this moment of distress?

If nothing came,

That's okay.

It might come later today.

I encourage you to do the practice again,

To keep coming back to it.

And if something did come to you,

I encourage you to write it down immediately.

Otherwise you'll lose it once you come fully back to consciousness,

Fully back to the here and now,

It'll have a way of disappearing on you.

Remember that you are a limitless being of love with an endless capacity for kindness,

For compassion,

For caring,

And for loving.

And that goes for loving everyone and everything on this planet.

And it goes especially for loving yourself.
