Trust your intuition meditation.
Now that we've begun to break down the reason you eat the way you do and started to let your body know that you're going to take care of it through listening,
You're ready to move forward by beginning to listen to trust your body's natural wisdom.
Throughout this meditation,
We will work to connect with your inner voice,
Recognizing your intuition and building your relationship with your true self.
Begin laying down in a comfortable position.
Cover yourself in a blanket if you need to,
To stay warm.
Allow your legs to come to hip distance apart,
Bringing one hand to your belly and one to your heart,
Connecting to your center of being.
Gently close your eyes,
Noticing the points of contact between your body and the floor beneath you.
Allow yourself to sink deep into relaxation,
Taking full breaths,
Allowing the breath to carry you deeper and deeper into relaxation.
With each inhale,
Imagine grounding earth energy coming in through the soles of your feet,
And with each exhale,
Divine light coming in through the crown of your head.
Allow this flow of earth energy and divine energy to come into the body through the feet and the crown of the head,
Feeling connected to your temporal and eternal self.
If the mind is busy,
Give yourself a few moments to acknowledge the thoughts coming up,
Giving attention to these thoughts instead of trying to dismiss them.
Let them be known and allow them to pass naturally as they feel resolved.
When your mind begins to settle and become more still,
Shift your attention to your heart center.
Allow yourself to feel connected to this area in the center of your chest.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of the belly and chest with each inhalation and each exhalation,
Maybe noticing the heartbeat just under your palm.
Begin to go deeper into the core,
Noticing what comes up.
Maybe a subtle sensation,
A texture,
Image,
Smell,
Or color.
Start asking yourself,
What do you want me to know?
What is the truth?
You may receive answers as an image,
Word,
Or sense in the body or mind's eye.
Open up,
Allowing the temporal and eternal self to dance deeper into the conversation,
Get to know your body's wisdom,
That inner knowing.
This may take some time as you build trust again.
Let yourself know that you are here and that you'll come back time and again to truly know.
There is no right or wrong way to do this.
Give yourself the next few minutes to open up to your heart's wisdom,
Hearing what your true self wants to reveal to you today.
