Connection,
Meditation.
The heart is the center of our being.
It is the epicenter of where we learn to make connections.
The heart connects with the rest of our body,
Feeding each cell with essential nutrients and oxygen.
In this meditation,
I will guide you to connect back to your heart to heal your relationship with yourself,
Allowing you to develop meaningful relationships with others once again.
Lay down in an area where you feel comfortable,
Without any distractions.
Put a blanket over your body to keep you warm.
Gently close your eyes,
Placing hands on top of each other in the center of your chest over your sternum.
Take four full breaths here,
Allowing the chest to gently rise and fall with each breath.
Resting elbows by your sides.
Using your heart,
Maybe noticing each beat beneath your hands,
Bringing your attention to the sound of each beat.
Notice if you can hear your heart beating in your chest.
Begin to connect with what your heart looks like in whatever way it's presented to you.
Seeing the subtle sensations of your heart,
Is your heart happy,
Whole,
And healthy?
Open your heart as a flower,
Tenderly cared for and loved,
Are the old dead pieces trimmed and cleared away to allow space to grow fuller and thrive.
Is it purified and watered daily?
Does light feed it every day,
Or is it kept in the dark,
Ignored,
And wilting away?
Ask your heart what you need to do so that it feels loved,
Ask it what you have to tell me.
Take your time communicating with your heart,
Strengthening your connection with your heart.
Allow time to listen and time to talk,
Developing a relationship with your heart as you would with a significant other.
Allow any and all of your heart's desires to shine through you.
Ask your heart if there's anything you need to let go of,
Any old energy from relationships or experiences that you're holding onto,
Making room for new relationships and experiences.
Find trust with your heart by following through with what it needs from you.
Maybe it's developing healthy boundaries,
Maybe it's taking more time for self-care,
Maybe it's spending time with people that lift you up.
Take four more deep breaths,
Allowing the breath to come completely into the lungs and completely out,
Re-energizing the body.
Repeat aloud or silently,
There is boundless love within me and all around me.
Take four more deep breaths,
Allowing the breath to come completely into the lungs and completely out,
Re-energizing the body.
Take four more deep breaths,
Allowing the breath to come completely into the lungs and
