Find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down.

If lying down,

Lying on your side is a good option to keep your body supported.

You can use some cushions if needed.

Gently close your eyes and begin to focus on your breath.

Take a few deep mindful breaths and pay attention to each inhale and exhale.

Feel the air enter your body through your nose and fill your lungs,

Causing a gentle expansion in your belly.

Slowly exhale,

Allowing your body to contract.

Take a long deep breath in through your nose,

And a long slow breath out through your mouth.

A long deep inhale,

And a slow gentle exhale.

With each inhale,

Imagine the air filling your body with positive energy,

Nourishing both you and your growing baby.

See this positive energy spreading throughout your body,

As you exhale,

Start by bringing your attention to your feet.

Focus on the sensation of your feet touching the ground,

Or the sensation of the mattress underneath you.

Feel the weight of your feet and allow them to relax.

Slowly move your focus up your body,

Noticing any sensations or sensations of tightness.

When you reach your knees,

Allow them to soften and release any tension.

As you focus on your hips,

Feel them relaxing and releasing any tension.

Move your focus up to your lower back,

Feeling it lengthening and releasing any tightness.

As you focus on your abdominal area,

Imagine it softening and relaxing,

Providing a comfortable space for your growing baby.

Now,

Bring your focus to your chest,

Noticing the sensation of your breathing and allowing your chest to expand with each inhale.

As you exhale,

Imagine any stress or tension leaving your body.

Move your focus up to your shoulders,

As you focus on your arms,

Imagine them becoming heavy and relaxed.

Bring your focus to your head and neck.

Acknowledge and embrace the physical changes that are taking place,

Allow yourself to embrace and acknowledge the darkening of your nipples and linea nigra as signs of the journey towards motherhood.

See these changes as a representation of the love and nourishment you are providing for your growing baby.

Let go of any negative thoughts or feelings about these changes,

And instead,

Fill yourself with pride and joy for the amazing work your body is doing.

During this trimester of your pregnancy,

It's important to bring awareness to any discomfort you may be experiencing.

These discomforts can include various symptoms such as back pain,

Constipation,

Shortness of breath,

Heartburn,

Indigestion,

Leg cramps,

And swelling in your hands,

Feet,

And face.

While these discomforts may feel uncomfortable or even painful at times,

It's important to remember that they are normal and a common part of pregnancy.

In this moment,

Take a deep breath and allow yourself to bring awareness to any discomfort you may be feeling.

As you inhale,

Imagine that your breath is a soothing balm that is comforting and healing to any areas of discomfort in your body.

On each exhale,

Imagine that any discomfort is being held and soothed by your breath.

Repeat this process several times,

Breathing deeply and allowing yourself to fully surrender to the soothing sensation of your breath.

With each inhale and exhale,

Repeat to yourself that these discomforts are normal and temporary.

As you continue to focus on your breath,

Let yourself be aware of any Braxton Hicks contractions that may be occurring.

These contractions are a sign that your body is preparing for labor,

But they are false labor.

Rather than feeling anxious about these contractions,

Imagine yourself embracing them as a natural part of the journey to motherhood.

Imagine these contractions helping to strengthen your muscles and increase your body's readiness for the arrival of your baby.

Allow yourself to feel confident in your body's ability to bring your baby into the world.

With each inhale and exhale,

Imagine yourself becoming more and more at peace with this process,

Feeling calm and reassured about the upcoming birth of your baby.

Visualize yourself and your baby growing stronger and healthier,

Despite any discomfort you may be experiencing.

Know that with each breath,

Visualize the tiny baby growing and developing inside you.

See the baby's length increasing from about 4 inches to 10 to 12 inches,

And its weight growing from 2.

5 ounces to 2 to 3 pounds.

Imagine the baby's bones and cartilage becoming stronger,

The formation of taste buds,

And the baby's movements getting more recognizable and stronger,

From simple flutters to kicks and punches.

Focus your visualization on the baby's vital organs,

Such as the liver,

Lungs,

And brain,

As they mature and become stronger.

Imagine the baby's immune system developing and becoming stronger,

Preparing it for the outside world.

Allow yourself to fully experience and connect with the growth and development taking place inside your body.

Know that with each day that passes,

Your baby is becoming stronger and healthier,

Ready to enter the world.

Enjoy this special time and connect with the new life growing inside you.

Now,

Picture yourself in a beautiful garden,

Surrounded by lush green trees and colorful flowers.

You are surrounded by an aura of peace and serenity.

As you take in your surroundings,

Take a deep breath and feel the fresh air fill your lungs.

The scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass surrounds you,

Adding to the peaceful atmosphere.

You notice the sun shining down,

Warming your skin and bringing a feeling of happiness and contentment.

The sound of a gentle breeze rustling through the leaves of the trees and the chirping of birds in the background adds to the tranquility.

You take a few steps forward,

Feeling the soft grass beneath your feet.

You notice a bench nearby,

Surrounded by fragrant roses and other beautiful flowers.

You walk over to the bench and sit down,

Feeling the peace and serenity wash over you.

You feel the stress and worries of your day melt away,

Replaced by a sense of calm and happiness.

As you sit in the garden,

You imagine your baby inside you,

Surrounded by love,

And happiness.

You feel a sense of connection with your baby,

You see a small boat bobbing gently on the lake and decide to step inside.

You settle into the boat,

Feel the connection between you and your baby and the love that you have for each other.

Take a deep breath and feel the connection between you and your baby growing stronger with each passing day.
