THis is a continuation from the first Tantra track. I looked back and in hindsight, I felt more needed to be said to give clarity to the first talk. This goes deeper into raising energy and why you should do so. IF you are feeling liek life is a mess or a little dull and you would like to learn how to go past these feelings then this is the track for you.

Hello wonderful people.

Thank you again for joining me.

My name is Douglas Gremins.

So in the audio track we made the other day on Tantra,

Talking about Tantra,

I made some pretty bold statements.

I said a few things that on hindsight I wanted to add a few more thoughts to put into your head to help you get a clear vision of why I said these things.

One of those things I said was that if you're living a so called life where,

Let's just say you're using chemicals to take that stress off the mind.

So yeah,

The mind is under a constant tension.

And it's like having a string pulled between two points and stretched out tight.

And it's always got this tightness to it.

There's always a tension to your life when you live in just the mind and when you function just purely out of the mind.

So there are chemical things that change and alter the patterns of the mind and release the tension on that string a little bit.

But the chemical approach also is like living in a ditch.

Right?

You exist and you're going through life.

There is a mountain out there,

There's a valley and there's a mountain to be climbed.

But if you're living in the ditch you can't even see the mountain.

You might not even be able to see out of the ditch.

And this reminded me of a conversation I had with a fellow coworker who basically did not believe in God.

And I'm like,

Well,

In the audio track on Tantra I said that if you raise your energy,

If you raise your consciousness levels up to get out of the ditch,

And then up higher to get out of the valley,

And then up higher to climb the mountain.

Because at the top of the mountain is where the union happens.

It's happening all around you anyways.

It's surrounding you.

It's everywhere.

But you are blinded to it because you're living in this tension of the mind.

So,

Like I said,

It's all around you.

God is everywhere.

God is everything.

And God is also nothing.

So there's a contradiction in terms,

But you can't be one without the other.

You have to be both nothing and something.

And I guess in the bigger scope of things we have found that nothing actually is something.

So it leads us to the next discussion,

The next topic,

Which is,

Is the search necessary?

If you're already surrounded with it,

Then why even have to search?

Right?

And the true part of it is that the search is necessary.

Because you left innocence as a child.

When you were very young,

You learned to be manipulative and cunning and clever.

And when you did these things,

When you began to control other people and live an individualistic lifestyle as you grew up,

You lost contact with that innocence.

But it's necessary.

It's a necessary evil that you lost contact with it.

That innocence was given.

That was part of your childhood and that one was a gift.

The next one,

The next innocence,

The one that you return to after you make this complete journey of getting out of the damn ditch,

Climbing up through the valley,

And making the trek up to the top of the mountain,

That is earned.

That's something that you earned and once earned,

It becomes a part of you for life.

And maybe for many,

Many lives,

Who knows?

We can only talk about this one because that's all we can be certain of,

Right?

And yes,

I want to be so bold as to say that basically if you're using chemicals to take that tension off the mind,

To take that tension off your soul,

You may not realize that's why you're doing it,

But basically that's what's happening.

That's why it feels good is because you're taking the tension off the mind.

Not to mention that there are very addictive qualities to just about everything in life.

Chemically induced euphoria's or highs or even lows to take that tension off the mind have dangerous side effects to them because one,

They become mentally addictive,

But they also become physically addictive.

Your body enjoys that tension that gets taken off of you.

And that's why a lot of people do day drinking,

That's why people hit the bottle every single night and feel like they can't live without it.

But if you realize that you're living in a ditch and you're never going to know the potential of you.

And I also want to say that today is 11-11,

2021,

And it's supposed to be a special day.

And it was a little bit for me because the waves were good today.

I got out and got to go surfing in probably three foot clean,

Fun surf.

The water's not too cold yet,

So it was kind of nice.

Quite a few of my friends were out there with me and really got to enjoy some waves.

But anyway,

That's beside the point in getting off the point.

So to commemorate today,

I wanted to make this little recording,

This little add-on to the Tantra video.

And if you guys haven't listened to the Tantra video,

Excuse me,

Audio track,

I'm sorry,

I make both audio tracks and video tracks all the time.

So on Facebook,

You'll see that there's a lot of video tracks.

And it's a lot easier actually to make the video.

I don't seem to have to hit the pause and start over quite as much as I do when I do the audio tracks.

But in the video tracks,

There's a lot of ands and ums and stuff like that.

And I try to cut all that out in the recording of these audio tracks I make for Insight Timer.

So I've said that it's a hierarchy,

A democratic process that happens within your body,

Within your psyche,

Your electrical essence that vibrates around you.

And if you meditate instead of doing chemicals,

Then you get a sort of drunkenness from meditation.

But there's no side effects.

So yeah,

You can get the same drunkenness off of meditation as you could a bottle of wine.

And if you lie down and meditate or sit and meditate,

I wish advanced people can lie down and meditate if they don't fall asleep.

But if you sit and meditate,

And you overcome the discomforts of the posture,

I like to tell my people and friends to get a pillow put under your butt,

Get a pillow,

You know,

Get as comfortable as you can be.

Because you'll find out from yoga and martial arts and stuff like that,

That if you're supposed to overcome the uncomfortableness of sitting in a sitting posture,

The lotus posture,

Zazen,

Seiza,

They call it in Japanese.

But if you can get comfortable,

Then you overcome so many of these problems.

And then you can meditate.

But you focus on breath,

You focus on posture,

You focus on your essence,

And then centering,

And then going from centering to no thought.

Like I said,

If you can center your energy to the point with your eyes closed,

To the point right between your two eyes,

Up in your forehead,

Just right up in there and center,

And then go from there to launch into the center of your body,

And then you center,

And then go from there to launch into periods or moments of no thought,

Then whammo,

Then you've started meditating.

And if you can get these moments of thoughts to go up upward,

They will continue to build and grow and grow the more you meditate.

But if you're meditating and using chemicals like marijuana or alcohol,

Then you're deleting the purpose.

You're trying to climb out of the ditch and then you're falling right back into the ditch.

So you're really not doing yourself any good.

So I recommend that you take the meditation approach and give it a try.

It will take probably a few weeks to maybe a month before you can really feel the effects.

And then you'll start to feel the bliss that comes from taking the stress off the mind,

You'll start feeling that right away,

As long as you're not using the chemicals that could be masking it and hiding those feelings of bliss,

And trying to supply you with a false sense of bliss.

And that reminds me of a small incident in life.

Bob Marley was a big Rastafarian,

And of course an avid pot smoker.

But when he developed cancer and he's getting close to the end of his days,

I think he had to cut down on his consumption of marijuana.

And I've heard other good stories about marijuana,

Medicinal uses of marijuana that help cancer,

But in Bob's case I think he quit and the false sense of highness,

The false sense of euphoria went away.

And then he,

The last few days of his life,

Decided to become a Christian.

He surprised his wife,

He surprised everybody making this decision to go from Rastafarianism to Christianity.

He made the jump because that bliss was lost.

So whatever you do,

Don't let that happen to you.

Don't live a life full of chemicals,

And then when it's too late upon your deathbed that you realize that you've had all these opportunities to experience bliss and experience growth,

Because that's the plus side of meditation,

Is that your energy rises.

The law of levitation takes effect and your energy rises up through your system,

Up through your chakras.

And like I said,

Commemorating 1111 reminds me of a time where I had 51% of my energy finally reach my heart chakra.

This heart chakra exists in the same place as your heart.

It's separate from it,

But it's an energy center that exists at the same place.

And like I said,

There's three chakras below it and three chakras above it.

And experiencing life above the heart is quite exhilarating because it's kind of like you're a plant that was a seed and it hasn't broken ground yet.

And then the seed gets watered and that's what meditation is,

Is watering the seed and spending time in the dark,

Spending time with your eyes closed.

I know you're like,

Well,

What do I think of for 15 minutes?

And I tell you,

You try not not,

You don't try not to think.

You try to watch the thoughts and just observe what happens.

Don't add fuel to the thoughts.

You know,

You don't add more thoughts to the thoughts.

You just watch.

And slowly,

By sitting there and watching the thoughts,

15 minutes turns into what it seems like two minutes.

Time does a weird loop on you.

Maybe it's the effect of the 11-11,

Who knows?

But yeah,

Time does a weird loop on you and you don't realize it.

But before long,

You may have been meditating for 30 minutes and it may have felt like five minutes.

Five minutes of blissfulness will leave you lying on the ground full of joy and bliss and joyfulness and just aesthetically blissful.

So yes,

I confirmed my talk from the Tantra audio track the other day that if you raise enough energy,

Then anything can happen.

And it does happen.

You have to have faith in yourself and faith that it's going to happen.

But the key element is not to look for it.

Looking for it destroys the whole thing.

If you go into meditation looking for bliss,

You'll miss it all.

Because that tension of the mind will still be there.

Remember,

We're trying to escape the mind in a sense,

Be separated from the mind so that once you're separate from the mind,

Once you separate from the mind,

Then you'll see that you're more than the mind.

That your consciousness can exist beyond the mind.

And then there's a whole art of living your life through your consciousness rather than leading it through your mind.

So your consciousness is actually faster than your thoughts are.

It's way faster.

And in the samurai days,

They said that the samurai that thinks is the one that gets killed because mind is too slow.

You have to move and react faster than the mind.

And that can happen to you.

And it will happen if you give it a chance.

So the choice is yours in life.

You can either stay in the ditch and live in the ditch,

But don't complain about being in the ditch.

It's just that's your life.

That would be your whole life,

Living in the ditch and never experiencing all the beautiful things that happened in not just the valley,

But in that trek up the mountain.

And then finally reaching the mountaintop.

All these things lay ahead of you.

But like I said,

The choice is yours in life.

And I'm not here to make that choice for you.

I'm just here to help you be aware of what happens to either choice you make,

Either way you decide to go.

You know,

As long as you're aware and you can live with yourself,

Then I'm not one to interfere or bother with that pattern.

But you should be aware and you should,

Someone should tell you in life,

Of the opposite effect of what can happen when you raise energy.

So anyway,

Thanks again for joining me.

Like I said,

My name is Doug Grumman's and I appreciate your time and your energy that you've taken to listen to these audio tracks.

I think a lot of the audio audio tracks I've made for Insight Timer are really good.

A few of them maybe not so great.

I was trying to learn how to do meditation through the audio tracks and I couldn't figure out how to put a mute on my microphone.

I know it sounds funny,

But I don't have a mute control on my microphone.

Later on I found out that you can just record silence and then delete that silence.

And that works,

But it's a little awkward.

I think people were left hanging,

Not knowing that there was an ending to the meditation that was 15 minutes later,

After 15 minutes of silence,

Then there was music and another talk.

So anyway,

Yeah,

The Anytime Meditation is a good one to listen to.

The Third Eye Meditation I made was really,

Really good for raising energy up past the heart chakra.

Maybe even if it's premature,

You'll have intuitions,

You'll have dreams,

You'll have an understanding and things will start happening in your life at a faster rate if you try that meditation.

It's really intense.

It's quite invigorating to do.

And then at the end of it,

It'll leave you just,

You know,

Like,

Wowed.

You know,

Like,

Oh my God,

That was really cool.

So anyway,

Give it a try.

See what you guys think.

And if you like this audio track,

Then give me a nice rating and let other people know that it was pretty cool.

Or maybe you hated it and it sucked.

But that's what I said.

That depends maybe if you're living in a ditch or if you're living a life climbing that mountain.

You know,

Wherever you are on this journey of life is basically your decision.

I respect that.

So y'all take care.

Bye bye.
