Please come into a comfortable seated position,

Preparing for your meditation practice.

Relax the body.

Relax the breath.

And relax the mind.

Take a deep breath in all the way up to the top.

And exhale fully,

Allowing the body,

The breath,

And the mind to relax even further.

Today's meditation practice is themed around gratitude.

Draw your attention to the concept of gratitude.

And observe where in your physical body you feel gratitude.

Begin to reflect on all the things in your life that you are grateful for.

Make a mental list of as many things as you can for the next few moments.

Gently bring the awareness back.

Reflect over this list and make a mental note of the people in your life that made this list.

Take a minute or so to identify at least three people either on your list or in your life that you have deep gratitude for.

Please choose one person on this list.

Make a mental note of all the things you are grateful for with regards to this person for the next few moments.

Next,

Bring the awareness to the second person on your list.

And take the next few moments to make a mental list of all the things you are grateful for with regards to this person.

And finally,

Begin the same practice for the third person on your list.

Taking time to list out in your mind all the things you are grateful for with regards to this third person.

Reflect on this list of all three people.

Observe how the feeling of gratitude affects your body,

Affects your mind.

Slowly bring your attention back to the breath.

Back to your surroundings and softly open the eyes.

Thank you.
