The Warrior In each and every one of us,
There lies the warrior.
It may be the peaceful warrior,
The backup warrior,
The front line warrior,
The behind the scenes warrior,
The one who triumphs and champions on other warriors.
Either way,
Every single one of us has the warrior within them and there is a reason,
There is a purpose,
There is a wonder for this warrior to appear when necessary,
When called upon,
And even when not called upon.
Often we see this warrior when we're in distress,
We're in panic,
Anxiety,
Sudden changes that leave us blindsided,
Worried,
Concerned,
Scared,
Frightened.
And this warrior may come across as anxiousness.
This warrior may want to sleep,
Become tired,
Adrenal fatigue,
And it brings you behind the barracks,
Behind the barriers in a safe place called your mind into the subconscious and asks you to rest.
Often a warrior can come in the guise of illness,
Weakness,
Sickness that is temporary only so that you can rest,
Recalibrate,
And refocus.
Often the warrior stands up for your rights,
For your soul's mission.
It will take jobs away from you.
It may take relationships away from you.
And that is in order for you to be re-entered into a new space.
Often after many years we look back and we realize that that relationship,
That job,
Was not a place that we should be.
We realize what our path was and you can thank the warrior,
You can thank the warrior for doing that for you.
That inner warrior.
You can call this warrior a guide,
Your subconscious an angel,
An energy,
A God,
Jesus.
It really doesn't matter.
The trick is,
When do you unleash the warrior and when do you hold the warrior back?
And in this sense,
It is about choosing your battles.
What battles do you want your warrior to fight?
What battles do you want your warrior to just back you up?
Just be there as a safety net with its shield to protect you just in case.
The warrior,
When feels anxious,
Aggressive,
Angry,
Frustrated,
If there's a valid reason for that,
It's because the warrior wants peace.
The true peaceful warrior isn't about winning the war where everyone is demolished and they alone stand undefeated.
The warrior,
The true warrior is when everyone wins.
Everything is at peace and you can walk away from those situations and those people who want to continue to fight for the sake of fighting.
Often it is a red flag,
This anxiousness,
This anger,
This frustration,
Because there is something simple,
Something underlying,
Something that is in the wrong direction.
It's on the wrong path.
What is that?
Often the warrior does not want to go barreling through its territory.
They want to gently approach the situation and ask,
Negotiate,
What can we do so that everyone is content and everyone is happy?
And so when you feel this anxiety,
This anguish,
This frustration,
This sadness,
This defeat,
Surrender,
Surrender to the knowing,
The faith,
The grace that there is peace on the other side of the battlefield.
There is a place of contentment and all you have to do is find that.
You may need that extra energy,
That push,
Which we call frustration and anxiety to redirect you because you're not giving up the fight,
To redirect you because I just want peace and tranquility.
Often this can happen for example in relationships where we fight and we fight and we fight for a partner who is distant,
Quiet,
Unmotivated,
Not taking leadership,
Not fighting as hard as you're fighting to fix problems.
And often that fight to shake them up,
To force them to take control,
To make a difference is a battle that we cannot win.
That person may be your perfect ying to your yang,
Your perfect black to your white and their calmness,
Their resilience,
Their patience,
Their unwavering need to not fight or argue or bicker is exactly what you need.
And their need to raise the bar,
Have some more fun,
Stick up for their rights,
Find that aggression is exactly what they need.
And so what happens?
Somewhere we meet on the battlefield in the middle.
That's the fight that you want to win.
That's the fight that they want to win.
Right now I want you to honour the warrior within you.
I want you to look at your golden shield.
And I want you to look at your weaponry and know that it is only there to protect you if the fighting becomes dangerous.
Otherwise it is only a safety measure knowing that you do not need to use these shields and these weapon trees because you really want to meet somewhere in the middle.
I honour the warrior within me.
I honour the battlefield.
I honour the sacred ground,
The sacred environment around me.
I honour the peace.
I do not need to fight to the death.
I do not need to win.
I do not need to lose.
I honour the peaceful warrior within me that keeps me strong,
That keeps me stable,
That believes in me,
That knows that I can do this,
That helps me become independent and powerful and peaceful.
Namaste.
