Hello,
I'm Jennifer Pavlounis and this is a meditation designed to help you ease emotions,
Tension,
Or tightness that you're holding on to as a result of your day so far.
A place that you can sit or lay down comfortably.
Start by taking deep breaths in through your nose.
Try to continue to breathe deeply in meditation.
Put yourself into the earth.
Focus present in this moment.
Notice where feet touch the ground,
Touching the surface.
Visualize roots to the ground.
Ask yourself,
See if you can narrow down to one specific name.
For example,
Your feeling might be anger,
Sadness,
Or a physical feeling.
Next,
Choose a color for that feeling.
See that feeling as either a light or love that color.
Visualize this inside your body.
Each breath in,
See your breath travel to that color.
Each breath in,
See the color,
The feeling,
Lose its grip on you and start to slip.
Place you grounded yourself.
Place that your roots are loose in the feeling's grip on you.
The feeling drips down through your root of your body to the earth.
All of this feeling's color drains from your body.
Visualize it disappearing.
If you have other feelings to release at this time,
You can repeat this visualization as many times as you need.
When you feel that you are finished releasing,
Release,
Start to move.
Move through the rest of your day feeling light.
