Hey there.

So yeah,

Really if we want to get down to it,

There really isn't a such thing as having a balanced life.

Because you will really never ever be balanced,

Okay?

We can try our best to find some type of common ground and add a little more structure,

Do some tweaks here and there and just make things a little easier.

But it will never be fully balanced because everything changes.

We're in a world where things can change by the minute,

By the second,

By the hour.

So we try each day or we aim each day to add something new and work at it and develop it and then sharpen those skills,

Right?

So our yesterday,

Our today can be a little better than yesterday.

Because it's all like a learning experience,

Right?

We're all learning and growing.

And so that's what it's really all about.

It's all about just learning more and growing more.

That's really what we call balance,

Right?

Because the world we live in is so easy to get caught up in just the day-to-day grind.

A lot of times we neglect our personal needs and relationships.

And so when we can learn how to manage that more effectively,

It's like we have a key and we're using that key to unlock more.

And there's so many other benefits that we don't even think about.

Yes,

We feel better,

But what about having more energy?

When you have more balance in your life,

You feel more recharged,

Refocused,

And then you have that extra burst of energy and that gives you better performance.

I know,

Just think about,

Here's an example.

Maybe you're working out,

Practicing,

And say if you don't really have a routine,

You're just kind of all over the place.

Well,

When you start exercising,

Sometimes you can feel just very lethargic afterwards.

Maybe you're just dragging.

Maybe it feels like you're not giving it your all.

But when you decide,

Okay,

This is what I'm going to do every day,

Every other day,

This is my schedule,

You put it into place,

And then you notice,

Wow,

This same type of routine that I was doing,

I actually have more sustainability.

I feel better.

I have that extra boost of energy because guess what?

You have added something new,

Added a habit,

Right?

You created that healthy habit that added some balance,

Some structure to your life.

And we cannot stress this enough.

We've talked about reducing the amount of stress,

Right?

We always talk about that because there's a lot of science behind that,

How you can add all these different things to help manage,

Balance those levels,

Right?

And it helps to increase your focus,

Right,

Energy again.

So everything we talk about comes around full circle.

You're reducing that stress response.

You're giving our body more energy.

And stronger connections,

Right?

So when there's better balance in your life,

You're able to tune in more to what your loved ones are saying.

You're paying attention more.

You're being more supportive,

A better friend,

A more supportive friend,

A better motivator.

Again,

Also,

It's increasing your productivity.

You're able to do more in what you think is less time,

Right?

So as a wellness and fitness coach,

My job here is to guide you through that path,

To find more balance,

To create those healthier habits,

Learning how to find time for wellness.

I want to give you just a few strategies that can help you add more balance to your life,

To live your best life,

Right?

You want to live that best life.

So here is number one,

Set clear priorities.

Set clear priorities.

So determine what really matters to you.

Making a list.

If there are five,

The top five things that matter the most to you,

Just pick five.

Number one would be,

Number one thing that's the greatest,

All the way down to not number one.

Because all are great,

Right?

So making sure again that these align with your values and making sure you know,

Okay,

These are my top five.

So when distractions come,

You know what is truly important to you.

With those five,

I want you to design a schedule centered around those.

So if you already have a Google calendar,

Or you have a calendar on your iPhone,

Whatever type of calendar,

Or if you still use a hard copy planner calendar,

You can fill those in there.

But making sure that you have a weekly plan centered around those top five.

So whether it's the workout,

Family time,

Self-care,

You know,

All of that can be part of self-care as well.

Or having that separate category as self-care,

However you care for yourself.

These are like appointments.

You're setting appointments with yourself that are non-negotiable.

Non-negotiable things,

Okay?

All right,

So number three,

Delegate.

Delegate.

So once you have your clear priorities,

And you design your schedule around that,

Making that appointment with yourself,

You're going to delegate.

Anything that you're used to doing,

It's time to let it go.

There is a time where you need to shift those tasks to someone else to help support you on your journey.

All right,

So I've given you three strategies.

Set clear priorities,

Design your schedule,

And delegate to seek support.

This is imperative for you to do this right away.

This is your homework.

I want you to take it,

Be serious.

This is your life.

You're trying to find more balance,

To create healthier habits,

To make your health a priority once and for all.

Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode on Insight Timer.

I can't wait to connect more with you.

Nutrition is more than what you eat and the weight that you carry.

Talk to you soon.
