Connection Is Your Secret Weapon In Biz

Today we're going to chat about the sea in the beach philosophy and the sea is all about connection.

This is what females do best.

This is the way we inherently interact from our hearts.

My heart is feeling very connected right now.

I'm coming to you from a different beach this week.

This week I'm down in Melbourne visiting my son who lives right on the border of Elwood and St Kilda.

He's just near St Kilda Beach.

And St Kilda Beach is very different to the beach at home,

So I'm bringing a different beach energy in this time,

But feeling so connected.

I haven't seen my boy for a year because of all the lockdowns and he just turned 23 on Boxing Day,

So to go a whole year and not seem has been very difficult for a mum.

So my heart is feeling very,

Very connected.

And this is what we as women yearn for,

Not just in our life,

Not just with our family or our partner,

But with our clients.

It's all about connection.

It's not about sales.

Sales is a very yang energy.

It's very much output,

Output,

Output.

It's exhausting for us to show up in that very yang way for a prolonged period of time.

We crave connection.

And connection is not just an output.

It's not just a yang energy.

It's also an input.

It's a receiving energy.

And this is why the heart is the home of connection.

The heart chakra is about authenticity,

As I talked about in the last episode,

But it's also about the balance of giving and receiving,

Putting out and receiving back.

And this is what happens in true heartfelt connection.

The energy flows both ways.

And this is the platform our business becomes for us to have more of this connection.

That's what it gives us.

It gives us connection with other females who are on the same path as ourselves,

Who are learning the same things about business and themselves.

And it gives us connection to those women who can really benefit from the gifts that we have.

This is all we need to remember in business.

Who can I connect with today?

That's it.

It's not who can I sell to today.

Reframe that and you will reframe the way you show up in business.

You will reframe your vibration,

That energy of attraction that you put out.

And it may be that sometimes that connection is with yourself.

This is important.

And this allows balance for when you have that desire to connect with others.

So I'd really love you to try that reframe.

I'm not selling to my audience.

I'm connecting with my tribe.

Much the same thing,

But just comes from a space that's much more aligned with the feminine energy of nurturing and being nurtured.

And connection is very powerful in your business success as long as you're being authentic,

As long as your vibration is pure for who you are and where you're at in your life and your business right now.

Then the energy of connection is pure.

So if you're feeling like there's hustle,

There's push,

There's exhaustion in your business,

Chances are you're trying to do sales.

And very often this can come with a sense of manipulation.

And if there is a sense that the terminology you're using because someone told you to use that in your sales,

If there's a sense that you're manipulating,

What that will do is close down your heart chakra,

Which will actually block the energy of connection.

Connection will bring through your true tribe with your true vibe.

It is all about the resonance between your energy and the energy of others.

And this is why so many of us as females can hold space so well because we can move into the heart chakra,

Move into that connection energy and connect with all of those others in our tribe through our heart.

And sometimes when we're in a tribe where the connection is more through the mind,

There are times for it for sure,

But very often the heart has to play an important part of it as well.

And I think it's very difficult for us as women to be operating fully in a mental connection space.

The heart connection underpins all of that.

And after a while,

If the heart connection is not there in the space in the tribe that we're in,

We will feel empty.

We'll know that something is missing.

I think this is why many of us are drawn to having membership groups or mastermind groups as well,

Because it gives this beautiful sacred tribe that's vibrating with us,

Gives us a space to connect with them.

And I know that's certainly the case for me.

And that group connection energy is so,

So powerful.

It builds incredible trust.

I mean,

That's what connection does.

Connection builds trust.

And that's actually what is what engages people to work with you is because they trust you.

They trust you through the connection.

They don't trust you as a result of the sales process you took them through.

They trust because they have connected with you.

And when you're in the right tribe,

You lift each other up through that connection.

Now I'm going to do another podcast actually about the lingo of business,

Because I think that using some of the language of the traditional business model,

Which is very yang language,

Is actually challenging for many female entrepreneurs.

And although we'll use the language,

It sort of makes us cringe a little.

And I think sales is one of those terms that for us can be really challenging.

It may not be for you,

But I know for many it can.

And so to reframe it this way is really helpful.

And the other thing that I have changed,

Which I'll just mention here,

Although I'll talk about this more when I do talk about the lingo,

But it's my sales page.

I don't ever call my page a sales page.

For me,

It's an invitation page and it just completely changes the energy.

As I said,

Sales has a very output energy.

It's really pushing out and there's a time and place for that.

But when it comes to connection,

I find an invitation is much more powerful in bringing in connection.

And it actually,

I feel like there is a lighter and more aligned energy on my page when I call it an invitation page.

It's doing the same thing.

It's sharing who I am and what I'm offering in that program,

But it's coming from a real heart space.

It's coming from a,

So have a think about this in your business too,

And have a think about your approach to sales and what you can reframe to help you drop into a place of connection more with your clients.

And since we're at the beginning of the year,

Now is also a great time to think about that connection that you want to create to support you in your business.

So not just the connection with your client,

But this connection with your tribe,

Who will you connect with this year?

Who will you have around you who lifts up your energy,

Who supports you to become more authentically you,

Supports you to get rid of some of these energetic blocks caused that come about as a result of the stories and the beliefs that we have.

Do you have that tribe?

Do you have that connection?

Because I can assure you,

If you do not have that,

Then you will only get so far in your business.

Because as a female,

You do thrive on connection.

You thrive on the support that comes from connection.

And be aware with that,

Sometimes you have to let go to also move into a new space of connection.

If your vibration changes and the vibration of the people around you change,

Often we have to let go and find a new tribe,

Connect with a new tribe that supports who we are.

So have a great week of alchemy in your life and in your business.
