23 Stillness This message emphasizes the importance of stillness and mindfulness in life. It emphasizes that the mind, while powerful, needs rest beyond just sleep. This rest can be achieved through practicing stillness, which in turn nourishes the mind and strengthens your connection to the Divine. The message highlights that a constantly active mind can lead to stress and inefficiency and that slowing down allows for deeper connections and the reception of wisdom. Balance is key, though perfect equilibrium is challenging to maintain consistently. I want to thank Claire Ottewell for being the voice of Shaltazar and Music of Wisdom (Narek Mirzaei) for the background music.

Shaltazar,

Oracle card number 23,

Stillness.

Be still,

Be more still,

Be still again.

But know the stillness can only be attained for a temporary sojourn.

The mind is not comfortable being still,

So you must invoke your will to train it to be still more of the time.

Your mind is an important part of your physicality.

It is far more powerful and complicated than your scientists know.

To fully utilize it,

You must allow it to rest.

The constantly engaged mind becomes weak,

Fearful,

And inefficient.

It also needs to be fed properly,

And by fed,

We mean the thoughts and information you allow into your consciousness.

When your mind is given fear,

Panic,

And darkness,

It is not being suitably nourished.

And by rest,

We do not mean just sleep,

For your mind continues to operate during slumber.

To rest your mind most effectively,

You must develop a discipline of stillness.

Practice stillness often,

Without reminders,

Your mind will continue to operate at a rapid pace because it is in the habit of doing so.

We believe the sharper,

The quicker,

The more intelligent the mind,

The better your chance of succeeding,

But that is an illusion.

A fast and constant mind can become stressed and overworked.

A slower mind functions better because it allows you to connect to the divine.

When the mind operates too quickly and too often,

You cut off your connection to your divinity.

The resting mind,

The still mind,

Allows stronger communication with us.

Equilibrium is the key,

But perfect balance is rarely attained on a constant basis.

Slow down your mind,

Feel deeply,

And allow the wisdom that is available to you to come pouring in.
