Welcome to this meditation to sleep.

This meditation is called the Tibetan temple of sleep.

Please allow yourself to be in a quiet place.

Please close your eyes,

Lie down and let's begin.

Welcome to the temple of sleep.

Tonight we will travel to the silent heights of Tibet,

Where mountains brush the sky,

Where clouds merge with prayer flags,

Where time seems to stand still.

You are about to experience an ancient practice from the spiritual tradition of Tibetan monks,

A ceremony of a deep relaxation,

An inner journey towards peace,

Towards sleep,

Towards yourself.

This age-old ritual has only one objective,

Helping you calm your mind and fall asleep soundly.

Make yourself comfortable in your bed.

Lie on your back,

Resting your head gently on your pillow.

Pull the blanket over you like a veil of softness.

Let your body anchor itself to the earth.

When you are ready,

Close your eyes.

Feel your body sink slightly into the mattress.

Feel the calm settling in.

Relax your shoulder.

Relax your face.

Loosen your jaw.

Start by inhaling deeply through your nose.

Let the air fill your belly and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Once again,

Breathe in deeply and breathe out gently like a sight.

Allow your breath like you would follow a path through the mountains.

You are on the path to calm,

On the path to sleep.

Now imagine you're lying in an ancient Tibetan monastery,

Perched on a mountainside.

All around you is silence,

Snow-capped peaks.

The air is pure,

Fresh and laden with the scent of incense and wood.

A Tibetan monk approaches,

Dressed in red and saffron.

He greets you silently then invites you to follow him.

His steps are slow,

His energy peaceful.

You follow him down a long stone corridor.

The walls are adorned with mandalas,

Prayer wheels and ancient frescoes.

Each step brings you closer to a deeper sleep.

You enter the meditation hall.

This meditation hall has candles that flicker gently in the dark.

You can see their light.

Monks sing a deep,

Soothing,

Guttural chant.

The sound vibrates throughout your body as if the ancient syllables were speaking to you unconscious.

OM MANI PADME HUM The mantra resonates again and again and soothes you.

You lie down on a Tibetan wood rug.

A monk places a thin blanket over you.

You are safe,

You are comfortable.

And now bring your attention to your toes.

Feel them,

Release them.

And then feel your feet.

Feel their weight.

Imagine that a monk passes a Tibetan bell just above.

And that each vibration relaxes this area a little more.

Relaxes your calves.

Relaxes your knees,

Your thighs.

Everything relaxes.

With every breath you feel your body getting heavier.

With every breath you release tension.

You release your hands,

Your fingers.

Your wrist relaxes.

Your arm relaxes.

You release them as if you were placing them in a stream of warm water.

Your shoulders sink into the mat.

Your back becomes more flexible.

Your stomach rises and falls naturally and gently.

Your heart beats peacefully.

Your throat is open.

And you sense the air flows freely.

A monk comes back to you with a large Tibetan bell.

He strikes it gently.

The sound stretches.

It surrounds your head.

It enters your body.

It takes your thoughts with it.

With each vibration,

Your mind becomes calmer,

Gentler,

Quieter.

Only the bell remains.

And you.

The monk invites you to imagine a sacred mountain at the summit,

A small temple,

Where your unconscious mind goes tonight.

There,

He will find answers,

Dreams,

Visions,

Solutions.

You don't have to do anything.

Just let your mind go while your body sleeps.

Your breathing is slow,

Steady,

Deep.

You are lulled by the mountain,

By the songs,

By the silence.

Your eyes are heavy.

Your thoughts drift away.

You sense them leaving like clouds sliding over the Tibetan peaks.

You no longer need to think.

You no longer need to resist.

You surrender to sleep,

To healing,

To peace.

In this temple of sleep,

You can return every night.

You are always welcome.

Here,

Your body regenerates.

Your mind is freed.

Sleep well and may the monks of dreams watch over your night.

Sweet dreams.

This is the end of this meditation.

I wish you an amazing night,

An amazing sleep and see you in another sleep meditation.
