This is Jill Jordan and this is a meditation for self-love and compassion.

We will do a few deep breaths,

A brief visualization,

And then some affirmations.

Find a comfortable position where you feel supported and relaxed.

It's worth a couple extra moments to make yourself as comfortable as you can.

As you settle in,

Take a deep breath in and slowly release.

Close your eyes and allow yourself to be present in this moment.

Let go of any tension in your body and focus on the rhythm of your breath.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it gently and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Do this three times,

Letting each breath bring you closer to a state of calm.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment,

Knowing that you are safe,

Supported and loved.

Now take the deepest breath that you'll take all day,

Nice and slow,

Expanding the lungs.

Hold it for 3,

2,

1,

Slowly let it out,

Blowing gently through the pursed lips.

Continue blowing out until your lungs are completely empty.

Allow yourself to relax.

Now imagine a warm golden light glowing in your chest.

With each heartbeat,

With each breath,

This light expands,

Filling your body with warmth and love.

See it radiate outward,

Touching every part of your being and filling the space around you.

Feel this light as a symbol of your boundless self-love and compassion.

Imagine and intend that it will be growing stronger with each affirmation.

Repeat these affirmations silently or loud,

Letting each one resonate deeply within you.
