Hello dear friend,
Take a deep breath and allow yourself to settle.
Today I want to share with you a gentle practice that helped me release stress and emotional heaviness almost instantly and beyond that,
It has helped me transform pain into something meaningful.
It's a simple question,
But it opened the door to something profound.
Before I walk you through the technique itself,
Let me share the story of how I discovered it.
I once listened to a talk that basically said,
Before you were born,
Your soul chose the life you live right now,
Not randomly,
But intentionally,
Your soul chose a body,
A family and life circumstances that will help you grow,
Evolve and learn the lessons you came here to learn.
And that thought changed how I saw everything,
Including pain.
Now,
Let's come back to the stress you may be experiencing and the reason you're here.
Stress doesn't always come from dramatic events.
Sometimes it's the quiet tension of an unresolved conversation,
A pattern that repeats at work or the heaviness of unspoken feelings at home.
The next time stress shows up,
Try this.
Pause,
Breathe and ask,
Whether it's to the universe,
To God or to your own inner wisdom.
What is this pain trying to teach me?
What change is it asking me to make?
That's all.
Just ask the question.
And then,
Allow yourself to release the burden of needing an answer right away.
The pain might not disappear forever,
It may return again.
But each time it does,
Gently remind yourself,
I am open to learning from this.
From what I have realized,
Sometimes the pain refuses to go away until we learn the lesson.
Let me share how this unfolded for me.
A while ago,
Someone spoke to me,
Not just a passing comment,
But two full hours of trying to impose their rigid,
Orthodox thinking on me.
I stayed calm.
I responded with my own beliefs.
But inside,
I felt energetically drained and emotionally raw.
Afterward,
I was filled with rage,
Not just at them,
But at myself.
Why had I allowed that?
I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Days passed.
My peace was gone.
Until one night,
In complete exhaustion,
I whispered,
What am I missing here?
What is this pain trying to show me,
To teach me?
And the moment I asked,
I felt a wave of relief,
As if by surrendering the pain to something greater than myself,
I had taken the first step toward healing.
The pain came back,
Of course,
But each time it did,
I gently reminded myself,
There is something I am meant to learn here.
And less than 24 hours later,
At a time I am never usually awake,
Just before six in the morning,
The answer came.
You need to build boundaries.
It was so clear.
I realized,
Even with family,
Even with love,
I had let people step too far into my sacred space,
And it was time to stop.
The pain had been guiding me toward a life lesson I needed.
But that was not all.
During the course of next few days,
The pain kept on coming back,
And I kept on asking the question,
Over and over.
Each time,
I got a new insight into the situation.
Each time,
I felt lighter.
With each new day,
I felt more at peace.
You see,
Healing doesn't always mean the pain disappears never to return again.
It means we stop seeing ourselves as victims of it.
We start asking,
Listening,
Growing.
So when the weight of something becomes too heavy to carry,
Pause and ask,
What is this here to teach me?
You might be surprised how quickly life answers,
In a whisper,
In a moment,
In a message that feels like it was always waiting for you.
Try this the next time you feel overwhelmed.
Don't chase the answer.
Just ask and trust that it's on its way.
Until it arrives,
May peace hold your heart gently.
