Connect With Your Fears And Let Them Fuel You!

What if, instead of being warnings to stay away, the things you're afraid of are actually helping you to understand what's important for you to step into on your path? It is TOTALLY possible to become the master of our fears: to let our fears fuel and create momentum for us! In this guided meditation, you'll get super present with a deep desire of your soul AND the fears that come up around it. Then you'll connect with one of your guides or your own intuition to get clarity on how understanding this fear can help you on your journey. This meditation was channeled in an Insight Timer LIVE Event on 09-22-2025. When I tap in, I channel meditations that say exactly what my audience needs to hear in the moment in order to foster healing and find clarity. Transcript

So find yourself in a comfortable seated position or lying down.

Either one works.

And just begin to kind of feather your nest.

So giving yourself the benefit of being completely comfortable.

If you're sitting in a chair,

Really setting yourself up so that you can relax deeply for the next 20 minutes or so.

If you're lying down,

Putting maybe a pillow under your knees or under your head.

And if you're sitting up on the floor,

Maybe you want to put a pillow underneath your hips.

Just whatever you need to create a nest of comfort for yourself in whatever position you've chosen today.

And then once you've found your position of comfort,

Allow yourself to kind of wiggle a little bit.

Maybe wiggle your hips.

Maybe wiggle your shoulders.

Maybe tuck your tailbone or your shoulders if you're lying down.

Maybe straighten your spine if you're sitting up.

Maybe tucking your chin,

Feeling that string pulling from the bottom of your tailbone all the way up through the top of your head.

Just letting yourself fidget a little bit.

And then on your next breath,

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your whole body with breath and hold it up at the top.

And as you're holding your breath,

Allow your body to come into stillness.

And then let it out on a sigh and let your body settle into the stillness of the position that you've chosen for this meditation.

Allow your attention to move to your breath.

And watch as it moves in and out of your body.

Noticing where in your body you feel the breath most prominently.

Maybe it's the nostrils.

Maybe it's the chest,

The belly.

And just let your focus land on that space and watch.

Watch,

Feel.

Just staying totally present with your breath right here,

Right now.

And then from the place where you feel the breath most intensely.

Begin to allow a circle of energy to radiate outward from that spot.

And allow this circle of energy to grow bigger and bigger.

Spreading relaxation over your whole body,

Little by little.

Allowing the breath to be the anchor.

And every time you take a breath,

This circle of energy grows.

Spreading relaxation over your face,

Over your chest,

Over your arms.

Seeing that relaxation spreading down your torso,

Your hips,

And your legs.

Until every breath you take is sending a pulse of relaxation throughout your entire body.

Seeing this circle of energy enveloping your whole being.

Blending with your aura.

And encouraging you to relax more deeply.

Creating this safe bubble for yourself where you can explore your mind and your body,

Your consciousness.

Now allow your awareness to dive down into your body and to land in your heart space.

And just feel into what's here.

What's in your heart space right now?

Notice if there are any words coming up.

Notice if there are any desires in your heart.

What is your heart's deepest desire right now?

And maybe you feel this in your heart space,

Or maybe your body is calling you to a different area of the body,

Where you feel your wants,

Where you feel your desires more deeply.

Allow your body to guide you to the part of you that houses your desires.

And these are not the desires of expectation,

The desires of societal understanding.

These are the desires of your soul.

The deep truths that live within your consciousness.

Where in your body do these callings live?

And once you found the place where this calling lives in your body,

Dive deeper into it.

What color is your desire?

What texture is this desire?

How does it feel in your body?

And once you have this desire clearly understood in your consciousness in your body,

Notice what's keeping you from stepping in to this desire.

What fears are coming up?

Are there tasks toward leading toward this goal that you're afraid of stepping into?

Are there relationships that you're afraid of changing?

Are there warnings from others that stop you from stepping in to this calling?

See if you can allow these fears to be simply information.

Just allowing yourself to witness each of these fears as they come up.

Staying grounded,

Anchored in your desire.

Letting the color of your desire energy,

The feel of that desire be the thing that anchors you.

And just notice what are the fears that are coming up.

And now allow your awareness to choose one fear.

Doesn't matter which one.

Just choose one.

And see what it feels like to dive deeper into that fear.

What do you feel when you dive into that fear?

Again,

Letting this just be information.

Maybe it's a big black cloud.

Or maybe it's electric,

A burst of electricity.

Maybe it's something that feels really far away and you're not really sure why it connects to you.

Or maybe it's something that feels very,

Very close to you.

Almost suffocatingly close.

Just allow yourself to get really clear on what this fear looks like,

Feels like,

How it lives inside your body.

What's the texture?

How big is it?

And then allow yourself to jump back to the feeling of your desire.

Acknowledging that that fear might still exist.

But so does this desire.

So does this beautiful energetic desire,

This thing that you feel called to step back into that energy.

And then consciously allow yourself to step back into the fear.

Knowing that that desire is always going to be there for you.

Let yourself feel the fear.

Knowing that the safety of your desire can exist at the same time.

Lean into the fear.

What is the feeling of this fear?

Maybe it's exciting.

And then step back once more into your desire.

Back into that exciting space.

Feeling lit up.

Feeling called,

Feeling passionate.

Being in that desire.

And now from this place of desire,

Invite your spirit guides or your intuition,

Whatever entity you feel deeply connected with.

Allow this energy to come into your space and see if there are any messages that are waiting for you in regards to this desire.

Maybe it's about just diving in headfirst.

Maybe it's about waiting.

Maybe it's about stepping into your fear.

Maybe it's about pushing that fear aside.

Allow whatever message needs to come through for you to land in this desire space.

Allowing the clarity of your intuition of your guide to speak through your desire.

This thing you feel deeply called to.

And now with this connection to your intuition or to your guide still intact,

Allow yourself to step back into the fear.

Feeling that fear once more,

Seeing that cloud,

That energy,

Noticing the things that scare you.

And ask your intuition,

Ask your guide,

What do I need to know about my fear in order to move toward my desire?

And listen.

And then ask your intuition,

Ask your guide,

What step do I need to take next to move toward my deep desire?

What aligned action can I take?

Is it about facing this fear?

Doing the thing that scares me?

Or is it about pushing the fear aside?

Stepping into fearlessness?

Or maybe something else entirely?

What aligned action can I take to get closer to my deep desire?

We'll stay in this energy for a few moments here,

A couple of minutes,

And you get to decide what you want to do with this space.

If there's more information that you want to get from your intuition from your guide,

Feel free to continue that conversation.

If sitting in your fear is helping you to understand where to go next,

You can stay there.

If sitting in your desire was inspiring you,

Dive back into your desire.

And allow yourself to feel that deep,

Exciting energy,

That passion overtake you.

Or if you feel like you're just needing some integration,

Allow all of the things that we've gone into here to float away.

And just allow your mind to still.

The next two minutes are all for you.

You choose.

And now begin to finish up your conversation with your guide or your intuition,

Noting that they are always here for you.

All you need to do is tap in.

And wherever you are,

Wherever your focus is,

Allowing your focus to return once more to the breath.

Watching as it moves in and out of your body.

Noticing how your breath is moving in and out of your body.

Noticing how your breath moves your body.

Putting the focus on the part of your body that is moving most because of your breath.

And then slowly beginning to exaggerate that movement.

Maybe you breathe a little deeper.

Maybe you start to twitch fingers or shoulders.

Just beginning to come back to your physical space.

Acknowledging that everything that we discovered in the consciousness space can come with you into the space of your being.

Into the physical world.

And begin to bring a little more movement into your body.

Bringing your palms together and rubbing them together.

Bringing us back into the space of having a body,

Of moving our bodies,

Of creating heat.

And then allow your palms to come together at your heart center and prayer.

And bow down to yourself in gratitude for showing up here today.

Let's finish out with one Aum together.

Inhale and exhale.

And inhale for Aum.
