The Reiki Kotodama or Jumon are sacred sounds which express the energy.
Today we'll be practicing with Honsha Zeishounen energy,
Also known as oneness and represented by the distant healing symbol.
The Kotodama for Honsha Zeishounen is Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne.
In our practice we will center ourselves,
Connect to the energy of Honsha Zeishounen
and breathe the energy deeply in.
The energy center we'll be using today is the Tanden located in your abdomen
a couple of finger widths below the belly button and about a third of the way in.
Please sit upright if you can in a way that feels balanced and supportive.
Adjusting your posture to feel that this energy center is also your center of balance.
When we have breathed the energy in we will then release it as a sound on the out breath
making the Kotodama Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne in one breath.
We will repeat this nine times and then sit in silence for a couple of minutes to experience
the energy we've caught.
This is a chanting exercise and if you're new to chanting you need to know two things.
Firstly that the chanting is the expression of the energy that moves through you
and secondly that it doesn't matter how you sound.
The important thing is that energy.
Please take a deep breath and sense into the area of your Tanden.
Connect to Reiki energy intending that you breathe it in all the way down to your Tanden
allowing it to flow from your Tanden throughout your whole body and energy field with your out breath.
If you like you can place the Hon Sha Zei Shonan symbol in your Tanden
or over your whole energy system and aura.
Remember the sacred sign of the Tanden is the one that connects you to the whole energy field.
The three basic sounds for this energy are Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne,
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne.
Breathe that energy in all the way down to your Tanden
and on the out breath allow it to vibrate through your space on your voice.
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne
Ho-A-Ze-Ho-Ne
Now we'll sit for a moment with the energy just noticing how it feels.
Give thanks to the Reiki energy and intend to release it.
Imagining it dissipating to wherever it needs to be
and brushing or shaking yourself off if you wish.
Thank you for practicing with me.
Have a wonderful day.
