Welcome to today's meditation where we will focus on affirmations to ignite a radiant day.
Please make yourself comfortable finding a comfortable seat or lying down if you rather and take a moment to settle in.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body and consider if you want any pillows or other props to make yourself even more comfortable.
Once you're ready,
Soften your gaze down or if you rather,
Close your eyes.
Let's begin by bringing awareness to your breath.
First,
Just notice what your breath is like as you start this new day.
Become aware of the inhalation and the exhalation.
And perhaps,
Observe some of the qualities of your breath.
Does it feel expansive or contracted,
Deep or shallow?
Inhale deeply through your nose now,
Filling your lungs.
And exhale gently through your nose or your mouth,
Letting go.
Letting go of a little bit of tension,
Even if it's just one percent.
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale through the nose or the mouth,
Softening and grounding down.
Do that a few more times.
Deep inhale.
And slow,
Gentle exhale.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to come into the present moment just a bit more.
Let go of anything that may have happened before now.
And release any thoughts about what's to come,
Even if it's just a moment.
For this breath,
Inhale deeply.
And exhale completely.
Noticing how you feel in your body,
What's going on in your mind,
And what you're allowing to take up importance beyond right here,
Right now.
And also observe the energy moving through you.
How do you arrive into this new day?
Breathe in deeply,
Letting it expand front to back,
Side to side,
And top to bottom.
Hold this plenitude at the top.
And once you're ready,
Slowly let it go.
And as you let yourself be here,
Just as you are,
With no judgment,
Just this willingness to observe,
Sense,
And feel.
Let's set the tone for your day with positive and empowering affirmations.
As I speak each one,
I invite you to silently repeat it in your mind,
Or maybe you choose to say it out loud if that feels right for you.
But either way,
I invite you to feel the energy of the words as they resonate within you.
