Okay,

Good morning everybody.

Welcome to Tuesday.

Tuesday morning meditation.

Woohoo!

An interesting.

.

.

Because,

Okay,

So my plan is to discuss kind of the law of attraction and seeing things in a more positive light than a negative light,

Right?

And so of course,

Wouldn't you know I'm having technical issues,

Right?

I just find that amusing.

You know,

Spirit,

It's like spirit has a sense of humor,

You know,

Whenever I give readings or whenever I do meditations and stuff,

You know,

You just you plan it to be one way and then it kind of turns out to be something completely different.

I just find that to be so amusing,

You know,

Spirit has a sense of humor on the other side,

Right?

So,

All right,

Well this is about meditation anyway.

So here we go.

All right,

Now what I wanted to talk about today is I found myself yesterday during a reading discussing the simple sort of version of the law of attraction.

And I thought,

You know what,

I haven't talked about that in so long.

And what an apropos topic for today,

I think,

Okay?

Interestingly,

So I was looking for.

.

.

Because you guys know how much I love Thich Nhat Hanh,

Right?

So one of his quotes,

I'm gonna read this,

People deal too much with the negative,

With what is wrong.

Why not try and see the positive things?

To just touch those things and make them bloom.

I mean that's just so beautiful because if we just touch on the positive,

If we can just touch on the positive,

Maybe it will bloom and maybe our life will be in a more positive light.

Maybe we will start to see things in a positive light.

The what-ifs instead of the oh-no's.

Wow,

That's so huge,

Right?

Perspective is everything in this life.

It really is.

Perspective is so important in this life,

Right?

So whether you're a glass full or a glass half full or a glass half empty type of person,

That's your choice,

Right?

We all have that choice,

But the law of attraction teaches us.

And of course this is the sort of simple version of the law of attraction,

But it's like if you focus on the positive in your life,

The positive will prevail and you will continue down that route of positivity.

And the same is true then with negativity.

If we go down the route of negativity and we see the negative things and the bad things in life,

Then that's what we're going to continue to have.

Because that's what you see.

I mean in a sense it's woo-woo,

But in a sense,

And my friends call me call it woo-woo sometimes,

But in a sense it's woo-woo,

But in a sense it's real.

I mean it's logical.

If you focus on positive things,

You're only going to see positive things.

If you focus on negative things,

You're gonna see more negative things.

I mean that's just logical,

Right?

Now here's the question.

How do you stay positive?

How do you see,

How do you get yourself to that place of seeing positive things?

Well,

Meditation,

Right?

Well meditation in a sense,

But I guess first,

I mean I was joking,

But I'm not joking,

You know what I mean?

Really how you stay in partially,

I should say partially,

Stay in that positive way of being is going to be through a practice of gratitude,

Which we have begun here on our morning meditations,

Right?

A practice of gratitude gets you into that positive place and it can actually help keep you there.

And that's why when you start out your day on a positive note,

Then it kind of sets up the rest of the day to be positive.

So that's what we're gonna focus on today,

Right?

Okay,

So everybody get your blankies.

Okay,

I have my blankie today.

I have,

You know,

When I started doing these,

It was cold outside.

So I had a blanket and I,

You know,

Bring it in while I'm meditating because,

You know,

Comfort is everything.

If you're not comfortable,

You're not gonna continue to meditate on a daily basis,

Right?

So I would bring it in,

But now it's like getting warm,

So I don't quite need the blanket anymore.

So,

But you know,

Get your whatever is comfortable to you.

Right now I use my,

I use my scarves to like wrap me up a little bit and make me feel comfortable,

Right?

So,

Um,

All right,

So let's get ourselves comfy.

And when you're in a good place,

Let your eyes flick closed and start to relax your body.

I like to start at my head and just quickly scan my body and go down my body and relax all of my muscles.

So let's relax our heads and our necks and our shoulders,

Which carries the weight of so much in our lives.

Our arms.

Just start to relax your body,

Your torso,

Your abdomen and thighs and hips.

Just put a little bit of attention on them to relax them.

Your legs and your feet.

Now let's take a nice,

Beautiful,

Long,

Deep breath in.

Let's breathe in through our nose.

Make it long.

Bring all the beautiful air into your lungs and release.

Great job.

Let's do that one more time.

Breathe in.

Breathe in and exhale.

Perfect.

Absolutely perfect.

As we get ready to do our meditation for the day,

Let's start out our day with thinking of our three things that we are grateful for.

It could be something as simple as my hair looks good or it could be something as deep as I love my partner.

I love my spouse and you're grateful for them.

What are you grateful for today?

I am grateful that I am sitting here talking with you about positivity.

What is not to be thankful for in that,

You know?

So let's consider all the beautiful things that we're grateful for that are great in our lives.

So as we start our morning meditation,

I want our mantra today to be a simple thank you.

A simple thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you to the universe,

To God,

Spirit.

Thank you to the world.

Thank you to your loved ones and your friends and family and thank you to yourself.

So as we get started on our meditation,

Let's just begin with thank you.

I will keep the time.

If you find yourself drifting,

That's absolutely okay.

Bring yourself back to your breath and to the mantra,

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you,

Spirit.

Thank you,

God.

Thank you.

And we can start bringing our awareness back into the present,

Into the room where we are,

Into our bodies.

And let's take a nice deep breath in through our nose and release it.

And whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

And what's great about meditating to thank you is that you can say that throughout the day.

It doesn't have to be just like just during your meditation.

You can say thank you to yourself all day long.

And it'll keep you in that positive place or help anyway,

Right?

So until tomorrow,

I thank you so much for being with me.

I so much appreciate every single person that listens or watches or whatever.

You all are beautiful.

You're amazing people.

And I am so honored to have you meditate with me.

So until tomorrow or next time,

Namaste everybody.

Thank you so much.
